Psalms 26
1 David’s. Do me justice, O Yahweh, For, I, in my blamelessness, have walked, and, in Yahweh, have I trusted, I will not waver.
Ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. Ke ke fakamaau au, ʻE Sihova; he naʻaku ʻeveʻeva ʻi heʻeku angatonu: naʻaku falala foki kia Sihova; ko ia ʻe ʻikai ai te u hekea.
2 Try me, O Yahweh, and prove me, Test my reins and my heart: —
ʻAhiʻahiʻi au, ʻe Sihova, ʻo ʻiloʻi au; ʻahiʻahiʻi hoku laumālie mo hoku loto.
3 For, thy lovingkindness, hath been before mine eyes, and I have walked to and fro in thy faithfulness;
He ʻoku ʻi hoku ʻao ʻa hoʻo ʻaloʻofa pea naʻaku ʻeveʻeva ʻi hoʻo moʻoni.
4 I have not sat with men of deceit, nor, with dissemblers, would I enter;
Naʻe ʻikai te u nofo mo e kau tangata angakovi, pea ʻe ʻikai te u ʻalu ki loto mo e kau mālualoi.
5 I have hated the convocation of evil-doers, and, with lawless men, would I not sit;
ʻOku ou fehiʻa ki he fakataha ʻoe kau fai kovi; pea ʻe ʻikai te u nofo mo e kau angahala.
6 I will bathe, in pureness, my hands, —so will I go in procession around thine altar, O Yahweh;
Te u fanofano hoku nima ʻi he māʻoniʻoni: pea ʻe pehē pe ʻeku kāpui ho ʻesifeilaulau, ʻE Sihova:
7 To sound aloud a song, and to recount all thy wonderful doings.
Koeʻuhi ke u fakahā ʻaki ʻae leʻo ʻoe fakafetaʻi, pea fakamatala ki hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakaofo kotoa pē.
8 O Yahweh, I have loved the asylum of thy house, even the place of the habitation of thy glory!
ʻE Sihova, kuo u ʻofa ki he nofoʻanga ʻo ho fale, mo e potu ʻoku nofo ai ʻa hoʻo ʻafio.
9 Do not remove, with sinners, my soul, nor, with men of bloodshed, my life;
ʻOua naʻa ke fakataha hoku laumālie mo e kau angahala, pe ko ʻeku moʻui mo e kau tangata pani toto:
10 In whose hands is a plot, and, their right hand, is filled with a bribe.
ʻAkinautolu ʻoku ʻi honau nima ʻae pauʻu, pea ʻoku fonu honau nima toʻomataʻu ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakahē.
11 But, I, in my blamelessness, will walk, Redeem me and show me favour.
Ka ko au, te u ʻeveʻeva ʻi heʻeku angatonu: ke ke huhuʻi au, mo ke ʻaloʻofa kiate au.
12 My foot standeth in a level place, In the convocations, will I bless Yahweh.
ʻOku tuʻu hoku vaʻe ʻi he potu tokamālie: ʻi he ngaahi fakataha ʻoe kakai te u fakafetaʻi kia Sihova.
