Psalms 25
1 David’s. [An Alphabetical Psalm.] Unto thee, O Yahweh, my soul, would I lift:
ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയിലേക്ക് ഞാൻ എന്റെ മനസ്സ് ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
2 O my God, in thee, have I put my trust, Let me not be put to shame, Let not my foe exult over me:
എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ലജ്ജയിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിടരുതേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്റെമേൽ ജയഘോഷം മുഴക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുതേ.
3 Yea let, none who wait for thee, be put to shame, Let them be put to shame who act covertly without cause!
അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരാരും ഒരിക്കലും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുകയില്ല, എന്നാൽ അകാരണമായി വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജിതരായിത്തീരട്ടെ.
4 Thy ways, O Yahweh, let me know, Thy paths, teach thou me:
യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ വഴി എന്നെ മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തരുമാറാകണമേ, അവിടത്തെ പാത എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കണമേ.
5 Guide me into thy truth and teach me, for, thou, art my delivering God, For thee, have I waited all the day:
അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യത്തിൽ എന്നെ നയിക്കുകയും പഠിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമേ, കാരണം അവിടന്നാണല്ലോ എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം, ദിവസംമുഴുവനും ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.
6 Remember thy compassions, O Yahweh, and thy lovingkindnesses, For, from age-past times, have they been.
യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ ആർദ്രകരുണയും അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും ഓർക്കണമേ, അത് പുരാതനകാലംമുതലേ ഉള്ളതാണല്ലോ.
7 The sins of my youth, and my transgressions, do not thou call to mind, —According to thine own lovingkindness, remember thou me, for the sake of thine own goodness, O Yahweh.
എന്റെ യൗവനകാല പാപങ്ങളും എന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളും ഓർമിക്കരുതേ; അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്താൽ എന്നെ ഓർക്കണമേ, കാരണം യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് നല്ലവനല്ലോ.
8 Good and upright, is Yahweh, For this cause, will he direct sinners into the way.
യഹോവ നല്ലവനും നീതിനിഷ്ഠനും ആകുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് പാപികൾക്ക് അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ വഴി ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
9 May he guide patient wronged-ones to be righted, and teach such oppressed-ones his way.
വിനയാന്വിതരെ അവിടന്ന് നീതിമാർഗത്തിൽ നയിക്കുന്നു തന്റെ വഴി അവരെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
10 All the paths of Yahweh, are lovingkindness and faithfulness, to such as keep his covenant, and his testimonies.
അവിടത്തെ ഉടമ്പടിയിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥകൾ പാലിക്കുന്നവരെ യഹോവ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തോടും വിശ്വസ്തതയോടുംകൂടെ നയിക്കുന്നു.
11 For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, Therefore wilt thou pardon mine iniquity, for great it is.
എന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ, അതെത്ര വലുതായാലും യഹോവേ, തിരുനാമത്തെപ്രതി അവ ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.
12 Who then is the man that revereth Yahweh? Let him direct him into the way he should choose.
യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ ആരെല്ലാമാണ്? അവർ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ട വഴി അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.
13 His soul, with prosperity, shall tarry, and, his seed, shall possess the land.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദിനങ്ങൾ അഭിവൃദ്ധിയിൽ ജീവിക്കും അവരുടെ സന്തതികൾ ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കും.
14 Intimacy with Yahweh, have they who revere him, His covenant also, he letteth them know.
യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്ക് അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ രഹസ്യം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ ജ്ഞാനം അവർക്കു പകരുന്നു.
15 Mine eyes, are continually unto Yahweh, —for, he, bringeth, out of the net, my feet.
എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെമേൽ ആകുന്നു, കാരണം അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ എന്റെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കെണിയിൽനിന്നു മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
16 Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, for, alone and oppressed, I am.
എന്റെനേർക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞ് എന്നോട് കരുണയുണ്ടാകണമേ, കാരണം, ഞാൻ ഏകാകിയും പീഡിതനും ആകുന്നു.
17 The distresses of my heart, hath he relieved, —and, out of my straits, brought me forth.
എന്റെ ഹൃദയവ്യഥ അത്യന്തം വർധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്റെ ദുരിതങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.
18 Behold my humiliation and my pain, and take away all my sins.
എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയും ദുരിതവും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമേ എന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെല്ലാം ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.
19 Behold my foes, for they abound, —and, with the hatred of violence, do they hate me.
എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എത്ര അസംഖ്യമെന്ന് നോക്കണമേ അവരെന്നെ എത്ര കഠിനമായി വെറുക്കുന്നു!
20 Oh keep my soul, and rescue me, Let me not be put to shame, for I have sought refuge in thee.
എന്റെ ജീവനെ കാത്ത് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ; എന്നെ ലജ്ജയിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിടരുതേ, കാരണം അങ്ങയിൽ ഞാൻ അഭയംതേടുന്നു.
21 Let, blamelessness and uprightness, watch over me, because I have waited for thee.
പരമാർഥതയും നീതിനിഷ്ഠയും എന്നെ കാത്തുസംരക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ, കാരണം യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ അങ്ങയിൽ ആകുന്നല്ലോ.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, —out of all his distresses.
ദൈവമേ, ഇസ്രായേലിനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കണമേ, അവരുടെ സകലവിധ ദുരിതങ്ങളിൽനിന്നുംതന്നെ!
