Psalms 16
1 A Precious Psalm of David. Preserve me, O GOD, for I have sought refuge in thee.
Miktamu ti Dafidi. Pa mí mọ́, Ọlọ́run, nítorí nínú rẹ ni ààbò mi wà.
2 Thou hast said unto Yahweh, My Lord, art thou! My goodness, mounteth not unto thee.
Mo sọ fún Olúwa, “Ìwọ ni Olúwa mi, lẹ́yìn rẹ èmi kò ní ìre kan.”
3 It belongeth unto the holy ones, whom, in his own land, Yahweh, ennobleth, In whom is all his delight
Sí àwọn ènìyàn tí ó wà ní ayé, àwọn ni ológo nínú èyí tí ayọ̀ mí wà.
4 They multiply their idols—another, have they purchased! I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor will I take up their names on my lips.
Ìṣòro àwọn wọ̀n-ọn-nì yóò pọ̀ sí i, àní àwọn tí ń tọ ọlọ́run mìíràn lẹ́yìn. Ẹbọ ohun mímu ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn ni èmi kì yóò ta sílẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kì yóò dá orúkọ wọn lẹ́nu mi.
5 Yahweh, is mine allotted portion and my cup, Thou, art maintaining my lot.
Olúwa, ni ìpín ìní mi tí mo yàn àti ago mi, ó ti pa ohun tí í ṣe tèmi mọ́.
6 The lines, have fallen unto me, in pleasant places, Verily an inheritance that delighteth me.
Okùn ààlà ilẹ̀ ti bọ́ sí ọ̀dọ̀ mi ní ibi dídára; nítòótọ́ mo ti ní ogún rere.
7 I will bless Yahweh, who hath counselled me, —Surely, by night, shall mine impulses admonish me.
Èmi yóò yin Olúwa, ẹni tí ó gbà mí ní ìyànjú; ní òru, ọkàn mí ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀.
8 I have set Yahweh before me continually, because he is on my right hand, I shall not be shaken!
Mo ti gbé Olúwa síwájú mi ní ìgbà gbogbo. Nítorí tí ó wà ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún mi, a kì yóò mì mí.
9 Therefore, hath my heart rejoiced, and mine honour exulted, Yea, my flesh, shall settle down securely;
Nítorí èyí, ọkàn mi yọ̀, ahọ́n mi pẹ̀lú ń fò fáyọ̀; ara mi pẹ̀lú yóò sinmi ní ààbò,
10 For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol h7585)
nítorí ìwọ kò ní fi ọ̀kan sílẹ̀ nínú isà òkú, tàbí kí ìwọ jẹ́ kí ẹni mímọ́ rẹ kí ó rí ìdíbàjẹ́. (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt cause me to know, the path of life, —Fulness of joys before thee, Pleasures at thy right hand evermore.
Ìwọ ti fi ipa ọ̀nà ìyè hàn mí; Ìwọ yóò kún mi pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ ní iwájú rẹ, pẹ̀lú ìdùnnú ayérayé ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ.
