Psalms 16
1 A Precious Psalm of David. Preserve me, O GOD, for I have sought refuge in thee.
Miktama nataon’ i Davida.
2 Thou hast said unto Yahweh, My Lord, art thou! My goodness, mounteth not unto thee.
Hoy izaho ny amin’ i Jehovah: Tompoko Hianao; tsy misy soa ananako azo oharina aminao;
3 It belongeth unto the holy ones, whom, in his own land, Yahweh, ennobleth, In whom is all his delight
Ary ny amin’ ny olona masìna ambonin’ ny tany, ireo no olona tsara laza izay sitrako indrindra.
4 They multiply their idols—another, have they purchased! I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor will I take up their names on my lips.
Ho be ny fahorian’ izay manova an’ Andriamanitra hatakalony ny hafa. Tsy mba hanatitra ny fanati-drà aidiny aho, ary tsy mba hotononin’ ny molotro ny anarany.
5 Yahweh, is mine allotted portion and my cup, Thou, art maintaining my lot.
Jehovah no anjara lovako sy kapoakako; Hianao no mampaharitra ny anjarako.
6 The lines, have fallen unto me, in pleasant places, Verily an inheritance that delighteth me.
Ny voafaritra ho anjarako dia eo amin’ ny tany mahafinaritra; eny, manan-dova tsara aho.
7 I will bless Yahweh, who hath counselled me, —Surely, by night, shall mine impulses admonish me.
Hisaotra an’ i Jehovah Izay manome saina ahy aho; ary na amin’ ny alina aza dia mananatra ahy ny foko.
8 I have set Yahweh before me continually, because he is on my right hand, I shall not be shaken!
Ataoko eo anatrehako mandrakariva Jehovah, fa eo ankavanako Izy, ka dia tsy hangozohozo aho.
9 Therefore, hath my heart rejoiced, and mine honour exulted, Yea, my flesh, shall settle down securely;
Izany no ifalian’ ny foko sy iravoravoan’ ny fanahiko; eny, ny nofoko aza hitoetra tsy manana ahiahy.
10 For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol h7585)
Fa tsy ho foinao ho any amin’ ny fiainan-tsi-hita ny aiko; tsy hamela ny Iray Masinao ho latsaka ao amin’ ny lavaka Hianao. (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt cause me to know, the path of life, —Fulness of joys before thee, Pleasures at thy right hand evermore.
Hampahafantatra ahy ny lalan’ aina Hianao; fa havokisam-pifaliana no eo anatrehanao, ary fahafinaretana no eo an-tananao ankavanana mandrakizay.
