< Psalms 144 >
1 David’s. Blessed be Yahweh, my Rock, who teacheth my hands to war, my fingers to fight:
Mahad waxaa leh Rabbiga dhagaxayga weyn ah, Oo gacmahayga dagaalka bara, Farahaygana dirirta bara,
2 My lovingkindness and my stronghold, my high tower and my deliverer—mine! My buckler, and he in whom I have sought refuge, —He that subdueth my people under me.
Kaasoo ah raxmaddayda, iyo qalcaddayda, Munaaraddayda, iyo samatabbixiyahayga, Iyo gaashaankayga, iyo kan aan isku halleeyo, Oo dadkayga ka yeela kuwo iga hooseeya.
3 O Yahweh! what is the earthborn, And yet thou hast acknowledged him, —the son of a mortal, And yet thou hast taken account of him:
Rabbiyow, waa maxay dadku oo aad u xusuusataa isaga? Ama wiilka aadanaha oo aad ka fikirtaa isaga?
4 The earthborn, resembleth, a vapour, his days, are like a passing shadow.
Dadku waa sida wax aan waxtar lahayn, Oo cimrigiisuna waa sida hooska libdha.
5 O Yahweh! bow thy heavens and come down, Touch the mountains, that they smoke:
Rabbiyow, samooyinkaaga foorori, oo soo dhaadhac, Buuraha taabo, oo iyana way qiiqi doonaan.
6 Flash forth lightning, that thou mayest scatter them, Send out thine arrows, that thou mayest confound them:
Hillaac soo tuur, oo iyaga kala firdhi, Fallaadhahaaga soo gan, oo iyaga jebi.
7 Put forth thy hands from on high: —Snatch me away and rescue me out of mighty waters, out of the hand of the sons of the alien,
Gacantaada kor ka soo fidi, Oo i badbaadi, oo iga samatabbixi biyaha badan, Iyo gacanta shisheeyayaasha,
8 Whose mouth, hath spoken deceit, and, whose right hand, is a right hand of falsehood.
Kuwaasoo afkoodu wax bilaash ah ku hadlo, Gacantooda midigna tahay midig beeneed.
9 O God! a new song, will I sing unto thee, —On a harp of ten strings, will I make music to thee:
Ilaahow, gabay cusub ayaan kuugu gabyi doonaa, Oo waxaan ammaan kuugu gabyi doonaa shareerad toban xadhig leh.
10 Who giveth victory unto kings—Who snatcheth away David his servant, from the calamitous sword.
Waa isaga kan boqorrada badbaadiyaa, Oo addoonkiisa Daa'uud ka badbaadiya seefta sharka leh.
11 Snatch me away and rescue me out of he hand of the sons of the alien, —whose mouth hath spoken deceit, and, whose right hand, is a right hand of falsehood: —
I badbaadi, oo iga samatabbixi gacanta shisheeyayaasha, Kuwaasoo afkoodu wax bilaash ah ku hadlo, Gacantooda midigna tahay midig beeneed.
12 That, our sons, may be like plants well grown while yet young, —Our daughters, like corner pillars, —carved, in the construction of a palace:
Markii wiilashayadu ay noqdaan sidii geedo yaraantoodii ku koray, Oo gabdhahayaguna ay noqdaan sidii dhagaxyada rukunka oo loo qoray qaabkii guriga boqorka,
13 Our garners, full, pouring out from one kind to another; Our flocks, multiplying by thousands—by myriads, in our open fields:
Markii maqsinnadayadu ay buuxsamaan iyagoo na siinaya alaab cayn kasta ah, Idahayaguna ay noo dhalaan kumanyaal iyo kumaankun oo berrimmada noo jooga,
14 Our oxen, well-laden; no breaking in and no departing, —and no loud lament in our places of concourse: —
Markii dibidayadu ay aad u xoogaystaan, Markaan la arag weerarid iyo qaxid, Oo aan cabasho jirin jidadkayaga dhexdooda,
15 How happy the people that is in such a case! How happy the people that hath Yahweh for its God!
Waxaa faraxsan dadkii xaalkoodu sidaas yahay, Haah, oo waxaa faraxsan dadkii Rabbigu Ilaahooda yahay.
