Psalms 139
1 To the Chief Musician, David’s. A Melody. O Yahweh! thou hast searched me, and observed:
സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അവിടന്നെന്നെ പരിശോധിച്ചു, അവിടന്നെന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 Thou, hast observed my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou hast given heed to my desire, from afar:
ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും എഴുന്നേൽക്കുന്നതും അവിടന്ന് അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ ചിന്തകളെ വിദൂരതയിൽനിന്നുതന്നെ അവിടന്ന് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
3 My path and my couch, hast thou examined, and, all my ways, thou well knowest.
എന്റെ നടപ്പും എന്റെ കിടപ്പും അങ്ങ് വേർതിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ എല്ലാ മാർഗങ്ങളും അവിടത്തേക്ക് സുപരിചിതമാണ്.
4 Surely there hath not been a word on my tongue, [but] behold! O Yahweh, thou hast observed it on every side.
ഞാൻ ഒരു വാക്ക് ഉച്ചരിക്കാൻ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പുതന്നെ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങ് അതു പൂർണമായും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
5 Behind and before, hast thou shut me in, and hast laid upon me thy hand: —
അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ മുന്നിലും പിന്നിലുംനിന്ന് എനിക്കു സംരക്ഷണമേകുന്നു, അങ്ങയുടെ കരുതലിൻകരം എന്റെമേൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 Knowledge, too wonderful, for me! high, I cannot attain to it!
ഈ അറിവ് എനിക്ക് അത്യന്തം വിസ്മയാവഹമാണ്, അതെനിക്ക് എത്തിച്ചേരാവുന്നതിലും ഉന്നതമാണ്.
7 Whither can I go from thy spirit? or whither, from thy face, can I flee?
അവിടത്തെ ആത്മാവിനെവിട്ട് ഞാൻ എവിടെ പോകും? തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽനിന്നും ഞാൻ എവിടേക്കു പലായനംചെയ്യും?
8 If I ascend the heavens, there, thou art! If I spread out hades as my couch, behold thee! (Sheol h7585)
ഞാൻ സ്വർഗോന്നതങ്ങളിൽ കയറിച്ചെന്നാൽ അങ്ങ് അവിടെയുണ്ട്; ഞാൻ പാതാളത്തിൽ കിടക്കവിരിച്ചാൽ അങ്ങ് അവിടെയുമുണ്ട്. (Sheol h7585)
9 If I mount the wings of the dawn, settle down in the region beyond the sea,
ഞാൻ ഉഷസ്സിൻ ചിറകിലേറി, ആഴിയുടെ അങ്ങേത്തീരത്തിലെത്തി വസിച്ചാൽ,
10 Even there, thy hand shall lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
അങ്ങയുടെ തിരുക്കരം അവിടെയും എനിക്കു വഴികാട്ടും, അവിടത്തെ വലതുകരമെന്നെ താങ്ങിനടത്തും.
11 If I say, Surely, darkness, shall cover me! then, night, is light about me.
“അന്ധകാരമെന്നെ ആവരണംചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നും പ്രകാശം എനിക്കുചുറ്റും ഇരുൾപരത്തട്ടെ എന്നും,” ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞാൽ,
12 Even darkness, will not conceal from thee, —but, night, like day, will shine, So is the darkness, as the light!
ഇരുട്ടുപോലും അങ്ങേക്ക് ഇരുട്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല; രാത്രി പകൽപോലെ പ്രകാശിക്കും, കാരണം അന്ധകാരം അവിടത്തേക്ക് പ്രകാശംപോലെതന്നെ.
13 For, thou, didst possess thyself of my reins, thou didst weave me together in the womb of my mother.
അവിടന്നാണെന്റെ അന്തരിന്ദ്രിയം രൂപകൽപ്പനചെയ്തത്; എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഗർഭഗൃഹത്തിൽ എന്നെ കൂട്ടിയിണക്കിയതും അങ്ങുതന്നെയാണ്.
14 I thank thee, in that fearfully was my being distinguished, Wonderful are thy works, and, mine own soul, is observing [them] intently!
സങ്കീർണവും വിസ്മയകരവുമായി അങ്ങ് എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്ക് സ്തോത്രംചെയ്യുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ആശ്ചര്യകരമാണ്, അതെനിക്കു നന്നായി അറിയാം.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, —when I was made in secret, when I was skilfully figured in the lower parts of the earth.
ഞാൻ നിഗൂഢതയിൽ ഉരുവാക്കപ്പെടുകയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അഗാധതകളിൽ മെനയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ, എന്റെ ആകാരം അങ്ങേക്ക് അജ്ഞാതമായിരുന്നില്ല.
16 Mine unfinished substance, thine eyes beheld, and, in thy book, all the parts thereof were written, —the days they should be fashioned! while yet there was not one among them.
എന്റെ ശരീരം രൂപപ്പെടുന്നതിനുമുമ്പുതന്നെ അവിടത്തെ കണ്ണ് എന്നെ കണ്ടു; എനിക്കു നിർണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ദിനങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനു മുമ്പേതന്നെ, അവയെല്ലാം അങ്ങയുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ടു.
17 To me, then, how precious have thy desires become, O GOD! How numerous, the heads of them!
ദൈവമേ, അവിടത്തെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് എത്രയോ അമൂല്യം! അവയുടെ ആകെത്തുക എത്ര വലുത്!
18 I would recount them! Beyond the sands, they multiply, I rouse myself—and am still with thee.
ഞാൻ അവയെ എണ്ണിനോക്കിയാൽ അവ മണൽത്തരികളെക്കാൾ അധികം! ഞാനുണരുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങയോടൊപ്പംതന്നെയായിരിക്കും.
19 Wilt thou not, O GOD, slay the lawless one? Therefore, ye men of bloodshed, depart from me!
ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങ് ദുഷ്ടരെ സംഹരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു! രക്തദാഹികളേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നുപോകൂ!
20 For they speak of thee wickedly, Thy foes lift up [their hand] unto falsehood.
അവർ അങ്ങയെപ്പറ്റി ദുഷ്ടലാക്കോടുകൂടി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ തിരുനാമം ശത്രുക്കൾ ദുർവിനിയോഗംചെയ്യുന്നു.
21 Do I not hate, them who hate thee, O Yahweh? And loathe, them who rise up against thee?
യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ വെറുക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ? അങ്ങയോട് എതിർത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ കഠിനമായി വെറുക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ?
22 With completeness of hatred, I hate them, As enemies, have they become to me.
എനിക്കവരോട് പൂർണ വെറുപ്പുമാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ; ഞാൻ അവരെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നു.
23 Search me, O GOD, and observe my heart, Try me, and observe my cares;
ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ പരിശോധിച്ച് എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അറിയണമേ; എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ച് എന്റെ ആകാംക്ഷാഭരിതമായ വിചാരങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കണമേ.
24 And see if there be any idol-way in me, and lead me in a way age-abiding.
ദോഷത്തിന്റെ മാർഗം എന്തെങ്കിലും എന്നിലുണ്ടോ എന്നുനോക്കി, ശാശ്വതമാർഗത്തിൽ എന്നെ നടത്തണമേ.
