< Psalms 139 >
1 To the Chief Musician, David’s. A Melody. O Yahweh! thou hast searched me, and observed:
Abụ nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, ị nyochaala m, ị makwaara m nke ọma
2 Thou, hast observed my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou hast given heed to my desire, from afar:
Ị maara mgbe m na-anọdụ ala na mgbe m na-eguzo ọtọ; site nʼebe dị anya, ị na-aghọta echiche obi m niile.
3 My path and my couch, hast thou examined, and, all my ways, thou well knowest.
Ị na-ahụzu ọpụpụ m na ndina ala m; ị mazukwara ụzọ m niile.
4 Surely there hath not been a word on my tongue, [but] behold! O Yahweh, thou hast observed it on every side.
O Onyenwe anyị, ị maara ihe m gaje ikwu tupu m kwuo ya.
5 Behind and before, hast thou shut me in, and hast laid upon me thy hand: —
Ị na-anọ m nʼihu, ma na-esokwa m nʼazụ, ị tụkwasịla m aka gị.
6 Knowledge, too wonderful, for me! high, I cannot attain to it!
Ihe ọmụma dị otu a dị oke omimi nye m, ọ dịkwa elu apụghị m iru ya.
7 Whither can I go from thy spirit? or whither, from thy face, can I flee?
Ebee ka m ga-ezo onwe m si otu a zonarị Mmụọ gị? Ebeekwa ka m pụrụ ịgbaga ka m si nʼihu gị zoo onwe m?
8 If I ascend the heavens, there, thou art! If I spread out hades as my couch, behold thee! (Sheol )
Ọ bụrụ na m arịgoro nʼeluigwe ị nọ nʼebe ahụ. Ọ bụrụkwa na m arịda zoo onwe m nʼala mmụọ, ị nọkwa nʼebe ahụ. (Sheol )
9 If I mount the wings of the dawn, settle down in the region beyond the sea,
Ọ bụrụ na m efepụ nʼisi ụtụtụ dịka nwa nnụnụ, felagaa nʼebe dị nnọọ anya nke oke osimiri,
10 Even there, thy hand shall lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
ọ bụladị nʼebe ahụ ka aka gị ga na-edu m aka nri gị ga-ejidesi m ike.
11 If I say, Surely, darkness, shall cover me! then, night, is light about me.
Ọ bụrụ na m asị, “Nʼezie, ọchịchịrị ga-ekpuchi m ìhè ga-aghọ abalị gbaa m gburugburu.”
12 Even darkness, will not conceal from thee, —but, night, like day, will shine, So is the darkness, as the light!
Ọ bụladị ọchịchịrị agaghị abụ ọchịchịrị nʼebe ị nọ; abalị ga-enye ìhè dịka ehihie, nʼihi na ọchịchịrị dị ka ìhè nʼebe ị nọ.
13 For, thou, didst possess thyself of my reins, thou didst weave me together in the womb of my mother.
Ọ bụ gị kpụrụ akụkụ niile dị m nʼahụ. Ọ bụkwa gị jikọtara ha niile ka ha bụrụ otu mmadụ nʼime afọ nne m.
14 I thank thee, in that fearfully was my being distinguished, Wonderful are thy works, and, mine own soul, is observing [them] intently!
Ana m eto gị nʼihi na abụ m onye e sitere nʼoke egwu na ebube kee; ọrụ gị niile dị ebube; amaara m nke a nke ọma.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, —when I was made in secret, when I was skilfully figured in the lower parts of the earth.
Ụdịdị m abụghị ihe zoro ezo nʼebe ị nọ mgbe a kpụrụ m nʼebe nzuzo ahụ, mgbe a kpakọtara m nʼebe omimi nke ụwa.
16 Mine unfinished substance, thine eyes beheld, and, in thy book, all the parts thereof were written, —the days they should be fashioned! while yet there was not one among them.
Anya gị abụọ hụrụ ahụ m mgbe ọ na-enweghị ụdịdị ọbụla. E dere ụbọchị niile a kwadoro m nʼime akwụkwọ gị tupu otu nʼime ha adịrị.
17 To me, then, how precious have thy desires become, O GOD! How numerous, the heads of them!
Lee ka echiche ị na-eche banyere m si dị oke ọnụahịa, o Chineke! Leekwa ka ha si dị ukwuu.
18 I would recount them! Beyond the sands, they multiply, I rouse myself—and am still with thee.
Ọ bụrụ na m agụọ ha ọnụ, ha ga-adị ukwuu karịa ọnụọgụgụ aja dị nʼala. Mgbe m tetara, mụ na gị ka nọ.
19 Wilt thou not, O GOD, slay the lawless one? Therefore, ye men of bloodshed, depart from me!
O Chineke, a sịkwarị na ị ga-ala ndị ajọ omume niile nʼiyi! Sitenụ nʼebe m nọ pụọ, unu ndị na-akwafu ọbara!
20 For they speak of thee wickedly, Thy foes lift up [their hand] unto falsehood.
Site nʼechiche ọjọọ, ha na-ekwu okwu banyere gị; ndị iro gị na-ekwutọ aha gị.
21 Do I not hate, them who hate thee, O Yahweh? And loathe, them who rise up against thee?
O Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ na m akpọghị ha asị bụ ndị kpọrọ gị asị, na-asọkwa ndị na-enupu isi megide gị oyi?
22 With completeness of hatred, I hate them, As enemies, have they become to me.
Ọ bụ naanị ịkpọ asị ka m nwere nʼebe ha nọ? Ana m agụnye ha dịka ndị iro m.
23 Search me, O GOD, and observe my heart, Try me, and observe my cares;
O Chineke, nyochaa m, mara obi m. Nwaa m, matakwa echiche uche m niile.
24 And see if there be any idol-way in me, and lead me in a way age-abiding.
Chọpụta ma o nwere ihe ọjọọ dị nʼime m, ma duo m nʼụzọ ebighị ebi.
