Psalms 139
1 To the Chief Musician, David’s. A Melody. O Yahweh! thou hast searched me, and observed:
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन हे यहोवा, तूने मुझे जाँचकर जान लिया है।
2 Thou, hast observed my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou hast given heed to my desire, from afar:
२तू मेरा उठना और बैठना जानता है; और मेरे विचारों को दूर ही से समझ लेता है।
3 My path and my couch, hast thou examined, and, all my ways, thou well knowest.
३मेरे चलने और लेटने की तू भली भाँति छानबीन करता है, और मेरी पूरी चाल चलन का भेद जानता है।
4 Surely there hath not been a word on my tongue, [but] behold! O Yahweh, thou hast observed it on every side.
४हे यहोवा, मेरे मुँह में ऐसी कोई बात नहीं जिसे तू पूरी रीति से न जानता हो।
5 Behind and before, hast thou shut me in, and hast laid upon me thy hand: —
५तूने मुझे आगे-पीछे घेर रखा है, और अपना हाथ मुझ पर रखे रहता है।
6 Knowledge, too wonderful, for me! high, I cannot attain to it!
६यह ज्ञान मेरे लिये बहुत कठिन है; यह गम्भीर और मेरी समझ से बाहर है।
7 Whither can I go from thy spirit? or whither, from thy face, can I flee?
७मैं तेरे आत्मा से भागकर किधर जाऊँ? या तेरे सामने से किधर भागूँ?
8 If I ascend the heavens, there, thou art! If I spread out hades as my couch, behold thee! (Sheol h7585)
८यदि मैं आकाश पर चढ़ूँ, तो तू वहाँ है! यदि मैं अपना खाट अधोलोक में बिछाऊँ तो वहाँ भी तू है! (Sheol h7585)
9 If I mount the wings of the dawn, settle down in the region beyond the sea,
९यदि मैं भोर की किरणों पर चढ़कर समुद्र के पार जा बसूँ,
10 Even there, thy hand shall lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
१०तो वहाँ भी तू अपने हाथ से मेरी अगुआई करेगा, और अपने दाहिने हाथ से मुझे पकड़े रहेगा।
11 If I say, Surely, darkness, shall cover me! then, night, is light about me.
११यदि मैं कहूँ कि अंधकार में तो मैं छिप जाऊँगा, और मेरे चारों ओर का उजियाला रात का अंधेरा हो जाएगा,
12 Even darkness, will not conceal from thee, —but, night, like day, will shine, So is the darkness, as the light!
१२तो भी अंधकार तुझ से न छिपाएगा, रात तो दिन के तुल्य प्रकाश देगी; क्योंकि तेरे लिये अंधियारा और उजियाला दोनों एक समान हैं।
13 For, thou, didst possess thyself of my reins, thou didst weave me together in the womb of my mother.
१३तूने मेरे अंदरूनी अंगों को बनाया है; तूने मुझे माता के गर्भ में रचा।
14 I thank thee, in that fearfully was my being distinguished, Wonderful are thy works, and, mine own soul, is observing [them] intently!
१४मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा, इसलिए कि मैं भयानक और अद्भुत रीति से रचा गया हूँ। तेरे काम तो आश्चर्य के हैं, और मैं इसे भली भाँति जानता हूँ।
15 My substance was not hid from thee, —when I was made in secret, when I was skilfully figured in the lower parts of the earth.
१५जब मैं गुप्त में बनाया जाता, और पृथ्वी के नीचे स्थानों में रचा जाता था, तब मेरी देह तुझ से छिपी न थीं।
16 Mine unfinished substance, thine eyes beheld, and, in thy book, all the parts thereof were written, —the days they should be fashioned! while yet there was not one among them.
१६तेरी आँखों ने मेरे बेडौल तत्व को देखा; और मेरे सब अंग जो दिन-दिन बनते जाते थे वे रचे जाने से पहले तेरी पुस्तक में लिखे हुए थे।
17 To me, then, how precious have thy desires become, O GOD! How numerous, the heads of them!
१७मेरे लिये तो हे परमेश्वर, तेरे विचार क्या ही बहुमूल्य हैं! उनकी संख्या का जोड़ कैसा बड़ा है!
18 I would recount them! Beyond the sands, they multiply, I rouse myself—and am still with thee.
१८यदि मैं उनको गिनता तो वे रेतकणों से भी अधिक ठहरते। जब मैं जाग उठता हूँ, तब भी तेरे संग रहता हूँ।
19 Wilt thou not, O GOD, slay the lawless one? Therefore, ye men of bloodshed, depart from me!
१९हे परमेश्वर निश्चय तू दुष्ट को घात करेगा! हे हत्यारों, मुझसे दूर हो जाओ।
20 For they speak of thee wickedly, Thy foes lift up [their hand] unto falsehood.
२०क्योंकि वे तेरे विरुद्ध बलवा करते और छल के काम करते हैं; तेरे शत्रु तेरा नाम झूठी बात पर लेते हैं।
21 Do I not hate, them who hate thee, O Yahweh? And loathe, them who rise up against thee?
२१हे यहोवा, क्या मैं तेरे बैरियों से बैर न रखूँ, और तेरे विरोधियों से घृणा न करूँ?
22 With completeness of hatred, I hate them, As enemies, have they become to me.
२२हाँ, मैं उनसे पूर्ण बैर रखता हूँ; मैं उनको अपना शत्रु समझता हूँ।
23 Search me, O GOD, and observe my heart, Try me, and observe my cares;
२३हे परमेश्वर, मुझे जाँचकर जान ले! मुझे परखकर मेरी चिन्ताओं को जान ले!
24 And see if there be any idol-way in me, and lead me in a way age-abiding.
२४और देख कि मुझ में कोई बुरी चाल है कि नहीं, और अनन्त के मार्ग में मेरी अगुआई कर!
