Psalms 135

1 Praise ye Yah, Praise ye the Name of Yahweh, Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh;

١ هَلِّلُويَا. سَبِّحُوا ٱسْمَ ٱلرَّبِّ. سَبِّحُوا يَا عَبِيدَ ٱلرَّبِّ،

2 Who stand In the house of Yahweh, In the courts of the house of our God.

٢ ٱلْوَاقِفِينَ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، فِي دِيَارِ بَيْتِ إِلَهِنَا.

3 Praise ye Yah, For good is Yahweh, Sing praises to his Name, For it is full of delight;

٣ سَبِّحُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ صَالِحٌ. رَنِّمُوا لِٱسْمِهِ لِأَنَّ ذَاكَ حُلْوٌ.

4 For, Jacob, hath Yah chosen for himself, Israel, for his own treasure.

٤ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ قَدِ ٱخْتَارَ يَعْقُوبَ لِذَاتِهِ، وَإِسْرَائِيلَ لِخَاصَّتِهِ.

5 For, I, know that great is Yahweh, yea, our Lord, is beyond all gods.

٥ لِأَنِّي أَنَا قَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ عَظِيمٌ، وَرَبَّنَا فَوْقَ جَمِيعِٱلْآلِهَةِ.

6 Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done, —in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:

٦ كُلَّ مَا شَاءَ ٱلرَّبُّ صَنَعَ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، فِي ٱلْبِحَارِ وَفِي كُلِّ ٱللُّجَجِ.

7 Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, —Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.

٧ ٱلْمُصْعِدُ ٱلسَّحَابَ مِنْ أَقَاصِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. ٱلصَّانِعُ بُرُوقًا لِلْمَطَرِ. ٱلْمُخْرِجُ ٱلرِّيحِ مِنْ خَزَائِنِهِ.

8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;

٨ ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ أَبْكَارَ مِصْرَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَى ٱلْبَهَائِمِ.

9 Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

٩ أَرْسَلَ آيَاتٍ وَعَجَائِبَ فِي وَسَطِكِ يَا مِصْرُ، عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَلَى كُلِّ عَبِيدِهِ.

10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:

١٠ ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ أُمَمًا كَثِيرَةً، وَقَتَلَ مُلُوكًا أَعِزَّاءَ:

11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;

١١ سِيحُونَ مَلِكَ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ، وَعُوجَ مَلِكَ بَاشَانَ، وَكُلَّ مَمَالِكِ كَنْعَانَ.

12 And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.

١٢ وَأَعْطَى أَرْضَهُمْ مِيرَاثًا، مِيرَاثًا لِإِسْرَائِيلَ شَعْبِهِ.

13 O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding, —O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.

١٣ يَارَبُّ، ٱسْمُكَ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. يَارَبُّ، ذِكْرُكَ إِلَى دَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ.

14 For Yahweh will vindicate his people, —and, on his servants, have compassion.

١٤ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ يَدِينُ شَعْبَهُ، وَعَلَى عَبِيدِهِ يُشْفِقُ.

15 The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:

١٥ أَصْنَامُ ٱلْأُمَمِ فِضَّةٌ وَذَهَبٌ، عَمَلُ أَيْدِي ٱلنَّاسِ.

16 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;

١٦ لَهَا أَفْوَاهٌ وَلَا تَتَكَلَّمُ. لَهَا أَعْيُنٌ وَلَا تُبْصِرُ.

17 Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose, —there is no breath in their mouth.

١٧ لَهَا آذَانٌ وَلَا تَسْمَعُ. كَذَلِكَ لَيْسَ فِي أَفْوَاهِهَا نَفَسٌ!

18 Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.

١٨ مِثْلَهَا يَكُونُ صَانِعُوهَا، وَكُلُّ مَنْ يَتَّكِلُ عَلَيْهَا.

19 O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;

١٩ يَا بَيْتَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. يَا بَيْتَ هَارُونَ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ.

20 O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.

٢٠ يَا بَيْتَ لَاوِي، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. يَا خَائِفِي ٱلرَّبِّ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ.

21 Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!

٢١ مُبَارَكٌ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ، ٱلسَّاكِنُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ. هَلِّلُويَا.
