< Psalms 126 >

1 A Song of Ascents. When Yahweh brought back the captives of Zion, we were like them who dream:
Faarfannaa ol baʼuu. Yeroo Waaqayyo warra boojiʼamanii turan gara Xiyoonitti deebisetti, nu akka warra abjuu abjootanii taane.
2 Then, was our mouth, filled with laughter, and our tongue with a shout of triumph, —Then, said they among the nations, Yahweh, hath done great things, with these!
Afaan keenya kolfaan, arrabni keenya immoo faarfannaa gammachuutiin guutame. Kana irratti saboota gidduutti, “Waaqayyo waan guddaa isaaniif godheera” jedhame.
3 Yahweh, hath done great things with us, we are full of joy!
Waaqayyo waan guddaa nuuf godhe; nus ni gammanne.
4 Bring thou back, O Yahweh, our captives, like channels in the South.
Yaa Waaqayyo, akkuma lagoota Negeeb, boojuu keenya nuu deebisi.
5 They who are sowing with tears, with shouting, shall reap:
Warri imimmaaniin facaasan, faarfannaa gammachuutiin ni haammatu.
6 He that, doth indeed go forth, and weep, bearing seed enough to trail along, doth, surely come in, with shouting, bringing his sheaves.
Namni sanyii facaafamu baadhatee booʼaa gad baʼu, bissii isaa baadhatee faarfannaa gammachuu faarfachaa deebiʼa.
