Psalms 123
1 A Song of Ascents. Unto thee, have I lifted up mine eyes, O thou who art enthroned in the heavens.
၁အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်စိုးစံတော်မူရာကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမျှော်ကြည့်ပါ၏။
2 Lo! as the eyes of men-servants are unto the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid-servant, unto the hand of her mistress, so, are our eyes, unto Yahweh our God, until that he show us favour.
၂အစေခံသည်မိမိ၏သခင်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ အစေခံမသည်မိမိသခင်မကိုလည်းကောင်း မှီခိုအားထားသကဲ့သို့ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်မိမိတို့၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ကရုဏာတော်ကို မခံစားရမချင်းကိုယ်တော်ရှင်အား မျှော်ကြည့်လျက်နေပါမည်။
3 Show us favour, O Yahweh, show us favour, for, exceedingly, are we sated with contempt:
၃ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်လွန်မင်းစွာမထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုခြင်းကိုခံကြရပါပြီ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားသနားတော်မူပါ။ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားသနားတော်မူပါ။
4 Exceeding sated therewith, is our soul, —The scorn of the careless, The contempt of the proud.
၄ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝ သူတို့၏ ပြောင်လှောင်ခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ မာန်မာနကြီးသူတို့၏မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုခြင်း ကိုလည်းကောင်းခံရကြသည်မှာကြာပါပြီ။
