Psalms 121

1 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes, unto the mountains, From whence cometh my help!

Ngizaphakamisela amehlo ami ezintabeni, lapho usizo lwami oluzavela khona.

2 My help, is from Yahweh, who made heavens and earth.

Usizo lwami luvela eNkosini, eyenza amazulu lomhlaba.

3 May he not suffer thy foot, to slip, May thy keeper, not slumber!

Kayiyikuvuma ukuthi unyawo lwakho lutshelele; umlondolozi wakho kayikuwozela.

4 Lo! neither will slumber nor sleep, The keeper of Israel.

Khangela, umlondolozi kaIsrayeli kayikuwozela njalo kayikulala.

5 Yahweh, is thy keeper, Yahweh, is thy shade, on thy right hand:

INkosi ingumlondolozi wakho; iNkosi ingumthunzi wakho esandleni sakho sokunene.

6 By day, the sun, shall not smite, nor, the moon, by night.

Ilanga kaliyikukutshaya emini, lenyanga ebusuku.

7 Yahweh, will keep thee from all harm, He will keep thy life.

INkosi izakulondoloza kukho konke okubi; izalondoloza umphefumulo wakho.

8 Yahweh, will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth, even unto times age-abiding.

INkosi izalondoloza ukuphuma kwakho lokungena kwakho, kusukela khathesi kuze kube phakade.
