Psalms 121

1 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes, unto the mountains, From whence cometh my help!

ആരോഹണഗീതം. പർവതങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ ഉയർത്തുന്നു— എവിടെനിന്നാണ് എനിക്കു സഹായം വരുന്നത്?

2 My help, is from Yahweh, who made heavens and earth.

ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ച യഹോവയിൽനിന്നാണ് എനിക്കു സഹായം വരുന്നത്.

3 May he not suffer thy foot, to slip, May thy keeper, not slumber!

നിന്റെ കാൽ വഴുതാൻ അവിടന്ന് അനുവദിക്കുകയില്ല— നിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരൻ ഉറക്കംതൂങ്ങുകയുമില്ല;

4 Lo! neither will slumber nor sleep, The keeper of Israel.

ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരൻ ഉറങ്ങുകയോ മയങ്ങുകയോ ഇല്ല, നിശ്ചയം.

5 Yahweh, is thy keeper, Yahweh, is thy shade, on thy right hand:

യഹോവ നിന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു! നിനക്കു തണലേകാൻ യഹോവ നിന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്തുണ്ട്;

6 By day, the sun, shall not smite, nor, the moon, by night.

പകൽ, സൂര്യൻ നിന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുകയില്ല, രാത്രി, ചന്ദ്രനും.

7 Yahweh, will keep thee from all harm, He will keep thy life.

യഹോവ സകലദോഷത്തിൽനിന്നും നിന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കും— അവിടന്നു നിന്റെ ജീവനു സംരക്ഷണം നൽകും;

8 Yahweh, will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth, even unto times age-abiding.

യഹോവ നിന്റെ ഗമനത്തെയും ആഗമനത്തെയും കാത്തുപാലിക്കും, ഇന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും.
