Psalms 121

1 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes, unto the mountains, From whence cometh my help!

Nyimbo yoyimba pokwera ku Yerusalemu. Ndikweza maso anga ku mapiri; kodi thandizo langa limachokera kuti?

2 My help, is from Yahweh, who made heavens and earth.

Thandizo langa limachokera kwa Yehova, wolenga kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi.

3 May he not suffer thy foot, to slip, May thy keeper, not slumber!

Sadzalola kuti phazi lako literereke; Iye amene amakusunga sadzawodzera.

4 Lo! neither will slumber nor sleep, The keeper of Israel.

Taonani, Iye amene amasunga Israeli sadzawodzera kapena kugona.

5 Yahweh, is thy keeper, Yahweh, is thy shade, on thy right hand:

Yehova ndiye amene amakusunga; Yehova ndiye mthunzi wako ku dzanja lako lamanja.

6 By day, the sun, shall not smite, nor, the moon, by night.

Dzuwa silidzakupweteka nthawi ya masana, kapena mwezi nthawi ya usiku.

7 Yahweh, will keep thee from all harm, He will keep thy life.

Yehova adzakuteteza ku zoyipa zonse; adzasunga moyo wako.

8 Yahweh, will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth, even unto times age-abiding.

Yehova adzayangʼanira kutuluka kwako ndi kulowa kwako; kuyambira tsopano mpaka muyaya.
