Psalms 119
1 [ALEPH.] How happy the men of blameless life, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
குற்றமற்றவர்களாய் வாழ்ந்து, யெகோவாவினுடைய சட்டத்தின்படி நடப்பவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
2 How happy they who observe his testimonies, with a whole heart, they seek him.
அவருடைய நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு, தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அவரைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
3 Yea, they have not wrought perversity, In his ways, have they walked.
அவர்கள் தவறு செய்யாமல் அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறார்கள்.
4 Thou, hast commanded thy precepts, that they should be diligently kept.
நாங்கள் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்கு முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டுமென்றே நீர் அவைகளைக் கொடுத்தீர்.
5 Oh would that my ways might be settled! that I might keep thy statutes.
ஐயோ, உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி, என் வழிகள் உறுதியாய் இருந்திருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.
6 Then, shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
உமது கட்டளைகளையெல்லாம் நான் கவனத்தில் கொள்ளும்போது, நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகமாட்டேன்.
7 I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I have learned thy righteous regulations.
உமது நீதியான சட்டங்களை நான் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, நேர்மையான இருதயத்தோடு உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
8 Thy statutes, will I keep, Do not thou forsake me utterly.
நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்; என்னை முற்றிலும் கைவிடாதேயும்.
9 [BETH.] Wherewithal can a young man keep pure his way? By taking heed, according to thy word.
வாலிபர் தன் நடத்தையை எப்படி சுத்தமாய்க் காத்துக்கொள்ள முடியும்? உமது வார்த்தையின்படி வாழ்வதினால்தானே.
10 With all my heart, have I sought thee, Suffer me not to be led astray from thy commandments.
நான் முழு இருதயத்தோடு உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளில் இருந்து என்னை வழிவிலகிப் போகவிடாதேயும்.
11 In my heart, have I treasured what thou hast said, to the end I may not sin against thee.
நான் உமக்கு எதிராய் பாவம் செய்யாதிருக்கும்படி, உமது வார்த்தையை என் இருதயத்தில் மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
12 Blessed art thou, O Yahweh—Teach me thy statutes.
யெகோவாவே, உமக்கே துதி உண்டாகட்டும்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
13 With my lips, have I recounted All the regulations of thy mouth.
உமது வாயிலிருந்து வரும் சட்டங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் என் உதடுகளால் விவரித்துச் சொல்கிறேன்.
14 In the way of thy testimonies, have I rejoiced, Like as over all riches.
ஒருவன் பெரும் செல்வத்தில் மகிழ்வதுபோல், நான் உமது நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்றுவதில் மகிழ்கிறேன்.
15 In thy precepts, will I meditate, that I may discern thy paths.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தியானித்து, உமது வழிகளை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்திக்கிறேன்.
16 In thy statutes, will I find my dear delight, I will not forget thy word.
நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளில் மகிழ்கிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையை உதாசீனம் செய்யமாட்டேன்.
17 [GIMEL.] Bestow thy bounties upon thy servant—let me live, That I may observe thy word.
உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்; அப்பொழுது நான் வாழ்வடைந்து உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
18 Unveil thou mine eyes, that I may discern Wondrous things out of thy law.
உமது சட்டத்திலுள்ள அதிசயமான காரியங்களை நான் காணும்படி, என் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும்.
19 A sojourner, am, I, in the earth, Do not hide from me, thy commandments.
பூமியிலே நான் வேறுநாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவனாய் இருக்கிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளை எனக்கு மறைக்காதேயும்.
20 My soul is crushed with longing for thy just decisions at all times.
உமது சட்டங்களின்மேல் உள்ள வாஞ்சையினால், என் ஆத்துமா எப்பொழுதும் பற்றியெரிகிறது.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud as accursed, who stray from thy commandments.
அகங்காரமுள்ள சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை நீர் கடிந்துகொள்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் உமது கட்டளைகளிலிருந்து விலகிப்போகிறவர்கள்.
22 Roll from off me, reproach and contempt, For, thy testimonies, have I observed.
நான் உமது நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொள்வதினால், பிறரின் ஏளனத்தையும், அவமதிப்பையும் என்னிலிருந்து விலக்கும்.
23 Even rulers have taken their seat, against me, have talked, Thy servant, will still meditate in thy statutes.
ஆளுநர்கள் ஒன்றாய் அமர்ந்து எனக்கெதிராய் அவதூறு பேசினாலும், உமது அடியேன் உமது விதிமுறைகளையே தியானிப்பேன்.
24 Yea, thy testimonies, are my dear delight, My counsellors.
உமது நியமங்கள் என் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கின்றன; அவைகளே எனக்கு ஞானமுள்ள ஆலோசனையைத் தருகின்றன.
25 [DALETH.] My soul, cleaveth to the dust, Give me life, according to thy word.
நான் தூசியில் வீழ்ந்து கிடக்கிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என் வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
26 My ways, I recounted, and thou didst answer me, Teach me thy statutes.
நான் என் வாழ்வின் வழிகளை உமக்கு விவரித்துச் சொன்னேன், நீர் எனக்குப் பதிலளித்தீர்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
27 The way of thy precepts, cause thou me to understand, and I will indeed meditate in thy wonders.
உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளின் அர்த்தத்தை எனக்கு விளங்கச்செய்யும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய அற்புதமான போதனைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
28 My soul weepeth itself away, for grief, Confirm thou me, according to thy word.
என் ஆத்துமா துயரத்தால் இளைத்துப் போயிருக்கிறது; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னைப் பெலப்படுத்தும்.
29 The way of falsehood, take thou from me, and, with thy law, O favour me.
என்னை ஏமாற்றும் வழிகளிலிருந்து காத்துக்கொள்ளும்; என்னில் கிருபையாயிருந்து, உமது சட்டத்தை எனக்குக் கற்றுத்தாரும்.
30 The way of faithfulness, have I chosen, Thy regulations, have I deemed right.
மெய்வழியை நான் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தேன்; நான் உமது சட்டங்களின்படி வாழத் தீர்மானித்திருக்கிறேன்.
31 I have kept close to thy testimonies, O Yahweh! do not put me to shame.
யெகோவாவே, உமது நியமங்களை நான் இறுகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என்னை வெட்கப்பட விடாதேயும்.
32 The way of thy commandments, will I run, for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
நீர் என் புரிந்துகொள்ளுதலை விரிவாக்கியிருக்கிறதினால், உமது கட்டளைகளின் பாதையிலேயே நான் ஓடுவேன்.
33 [HE.] Point out to me, O Yahweh, the way of thy statutes, that I may observe it unto the end.
யெகோவாவே, உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் அவைகளைக் கடைசிமட்டும் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
34 Give me understanding, that I may observe thy law, that I may keep it with a whole heart.
விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும்; அதினால் நான் உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைக்கொள்வேன். என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
35 Guide me in the path of thy commandments, for, therein, do I find pleasure.
உமது கட்டளைகளின் பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்; ஏனெனில் அதில் நான் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் காண்கிறேன்.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not unto unjust gain.
என் இருதயத்தைச் சுயலாபத்தின் பக்கம் சாயவிடாமல், உமது நியமங்களின் பக்கமாய்த் திருப்பும்.
37 Turn away mine eyes, from beholding vanity, In thy way, give me life.
பயனற்ற காரியங்களிலிருந்து என் கண்களைத் திருப்பும்; உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
38 Establish, unto thy servant, thy word, which pertaineth to the reverence of thee.
உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கும்படி நீர் கொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை உமது அடியேனாகிய எனக்கு நிறைவேற்றும்.
39 Cause to pass away my reproach, that I have feared, for, thy regulations, are good.
நான் பயப்படுகின்ற அவமானத்தை என்னைவிட்டு அகற்றும்; ஏனெனில், உமது சட்டங்கள் நல்லவை.
40 Lo! I have longed for thy precepts, In thy righteousness, give me life.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை எவ்வளவாய் விரும்புகிறேன்! உமது நியாயத்தின்படி என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
41 [WAW.] And let thy lovingkindness reach me, O Yahweh, thy salvation, according to thy word.
யெகோவாவே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பும், உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி உமது இரட்சிப்பும் எனக்குக் கிடைப்பதாக;
42 So shall I have something to answer him that reproacheth me, That I have trusted in thy word.
அப்பொழுது நான் என்னை நிந்திக்கிறவனுக்குப் பதில் சொல்வேன்; ஏனெனில் நானோ உமது வார்த்தையிலேயே நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
43 And do not snatch away from my mouth the word of truth in any wise, because, for thy regulation, have I waited.
சத்திய வார்த்தையை என் வாயிலிருந்து பறித்துக் கொள்ளாதிரும்; ஏனெனில், நான் உமது சட்டங்களிலேயே என் நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
44 That I may keep thy law continually, to times age-abiding and beyond.
நான் எப்பொழுதும் உமது சட்டத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
45 That I may walk to and fro in a large place, because, thy precepts, have I sought.
உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளில் நடப்பதினால், நான் சுதந்திரமாக நடந்துவருவேன்.
46 That I may speak of thy testimonies before kings, and not be ashamed.
நான் அரசர்களுக்கு முன்பாக உமது நியமங்களைக் குறித்துப்பேசுவேன்; நான் வெட்கத்திற்கு உள்ளாகமாட்டேன்.
47 That I may find dear delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.
ஏனெனில், நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை நேசிக்கிறேன், அவற்றில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன்.
48 That I may lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and may meditate in thy statutes.
நான் நேசிக்கும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மதிக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
49 [ZAYIN.] Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வார்த்தையை நினைவிற்கொள்ளும்; அதினால் எனக்கு நம்பிக்கையை தந்திருக்கிறீர்.
50 This, is my comfort in mine affliction, that, thy word, hath given me life.
இதுவே என் துன்பத்தில் எனக்கு ஆறுதல்: உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம் என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது.
51 Insolent men, have derided me exceedingly, From thy law, have I not swerved.
அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் தயக்கமின்றி என்னை ஏளனம் செய்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது சட்டத்திலிருந்து விலகுவதில்லை.
52 I have remembered thy regulations, [which have come down] from age-past times, O Yahweh, and have consoled myself.
யெகோவாவே, உமது பூர்வகாலத்து சட்டங்களை நான் நினைவிற்கொள்கிறேன்; நான் அவைகளில் ஆறுதல் பெறுகிறேன்.
53 A raging heat, hath seized me, by reason of the lawless, who forsake thy law.
உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்ட கொடியவர்களின் நிமித்தம், கடுங்கோபம் என்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்கிறது.
54 Songs, have thy statutes become to me, in my house of sojourn.
நான் எங்கு தங்கினாலும், உமது விதிமுறைகளே எனது பாடலின் கருப்பொருளாயிற்று.
55 I have remembered, in the night, thy Name, O Yahweh, and have kept thy law.
யெகோவாவே, இரவிலே நான் உமது பெயரை நினைவிற்கொண்டு, உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
56 This, have I had, because, thy precepts, have I observed.
உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதே என் வழக்கமாயிற்று.
57 [HETH.] My portion, is Yahweh, I have promised that I would keep thy words.
யெகோவாவே, நீரே என் பங்கு; உமது வார்த்தைகளுக்கு நான் கீழ்ப்படிவதாக வாக்களித்திருக்கிறேன்.
58 I have sought the smile of thy face with all my heart, Show me favour, according to thy word.
நான் என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உமது முகத்தைத் தேடியிருக்கிறேன்; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என்மீது கிருபையாயிரும்.
59 I have thought upon my ways, and have turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
நான் என் வாழ்வின் பாதையை சிந்தித்து, உம்முடைய நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்ற முடிவு செய்துள்ளேன்.
60 I have hastened, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.
உமது கட்டளைகளுக்கு விரைவாய்க் கீழ்ப்படிவேன், தாமதிக்கமாட்டேன்.
61 The meshes of the lawless, have surrounded me, Thy law, have I not forgotten.
கொடியவர்கள் என்னைக் கயிறுகளினால் கட்டினாலும், நான் உமது சட்டத்தை மறவேன்.
62 At midnight, I arise to give thanks unto thee, For thy righteous regulations.
உமது நியாயமான சட்டங்களுக்காக உமக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும்படி, நான் நள்ளிரவில் விழித்தெழுகிறேன்.
63 Companion, am I, to all who revere thee, and to them who keep thy precepts.
உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிற, உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைப் பின்பற்றுகிற எல்லோருக்கும் நான் நண்பனாய் இருக்கிறேன்.
64 Of thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, the earth, is full, Thy statutes, teach thou me.
யெகோவாவே, பூமி உமது அன்பினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
65 [TETH.] Well, hast thou dealt with thy servant, O Yahweh, according to thy word.
யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படி உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்.
66 Good judgment and knowledge, teach thou me, For, in thy commandments, have I trusted.
உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நான் நம்புவதால், அறிவையும் நல்ல நிதானிப்பையும் எனக்குப் போதியும்.
67 Before I was afflicted, I myself was going astray, but, now, thy word, have I kept.
நான் துன்பப்படுவதற்கு முன்பு வழிவிலகிப் போனேன், ஆனால் இப்பொழுதோ உம்முடைய வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்.
68 Good, thou art, and doing good, Teach me thy statutes.
நீர் நல்லவர், நீர் நன்மையானதையே செய்கிறீர்; உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
69 Insolent men have plastered falsehood over me, I, with a whole heart, will observe thy precepts.
அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் என்னைப்பற்றிப் பொய்களைப் பரப்பினார்கள், ஆனாலும் நான் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைக்கொள்கிறேன்.
70 Gross, like fat, is their heart, I, in thy law, have found dear delight.
அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்கள் கடினமானவைகளும், உணர்வற்றவைகளுமாய் இருக்கின்றன; நானோ உம்முடைய சட்டத்தில் மகிழ்கிறேன்.
71 It is, well for me, that I was afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
நான் துன்பப்பட்டது எனக்கு நன்மையாகவே இருந்தது; அதினால் நான் உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
72 Better to me, is the law of thy mouth, than thousands of gold and silver.
ஆயிரமாயிரமான பொன் வெள்ளியைப் பார்க்கிலும், உம்முடைய வாயிலிருந்து வருகிற சட்டம் எனக்கு அதிக விலையேறப்பெற்றது.
73 [YODH.] Thine own hands, have made me, and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னைப் படைத்து உருவாக்கின; உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கற்று விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும்.
74 They who revere thee, shall see me and rejoice, that, for thy word, I waited.
நான் உமது வார்த்தையில் என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறபடியால், உமக்குப் பயந்து நடப்பவர்கள் என்னைக் காணும்போது, மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார்களாக.
75 I know, O Yahweh, that righteous are thy regulations, and, in faithfulness, didst thou afflict me.
யெகோவாவே, உமது சட்டங்கள் நியாயமானவை என்பதை நான் அறிவேன்; நீர் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்தியது சரிதான்.
76 Let thy lovingkindness, I beseech thee, serve to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
நீர் உம்முடைய அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி, உம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு என்னைத் தேற்றுவதாக.
77 Let thy compassions reach me, that I may live, for, thy law, is my dear delight.
நான் வாழ்வடையும்படி உம்முடைய கருணை எனக்குக் கிடைக்கட்டும்; உமது சட்டம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி.
78 Let insolent men, be ashamed, because, by means of falsehood, they have dealt with me perversely, I, will meditate in thy precepts.
காரணமின்றி எனக்கு அநியாயம் செய்யும் அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் வெட்கம் அடைவார்களாக; நானோ, உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
79 Let them who revere thee, turn unto me, even they who know thy testimonies.
உமது நியமங்களை விளங்கிக்கொண்டு, உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்கள் என் பக்கம் திரும்பட்டும்.
80 Let my heart be thorough in thy statutes, that I may not be ashamed.
நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி என் இருதயம் உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைக் குறித்து குற்றமற்றதாய் இருக்கட்டும்.
81 [KAPH.] My soul, hath languished for thy salvation, For thy word, have I hoped.
உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் மேலுள்ள வாஞ்சையினால் என் ஆத்துமா ஏங்குகிறது; நான் உமது வார்த்தையிலேயே என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
82 Mine eyes have failed for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்திற்காக காத்திருந்து, என் கண்கள் மங்கிப்போகின்றன; “நீர் என்னை எப்பொழுது தேற்றுவீர்?” என்று கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன்.
83 Though I have been like a wine-skin in the smoke, thy statutes, have I not forgotten.
நான் புகைக்குள்ளிருந்து சுருங்கிப்போகும் திராட்சைக் குடுவையைப்போல் இருந்தாலும், உமது விதிமுறைகளை மறவாமல் இருக்கிறேன்.
84 How few are the days of thy servant! When wilt thou execute sentence on my persecutors?
உமது அடியேன் எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும்? என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களை நீர் எப்பொழுது தண்டிப்பீர்?
85 Insolent men digged for me pits, men who are not according to thy law.
அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் நான் விழுவதற்குக் குழி தோண்டுகிறார்கள்; அது உமது சட்டத்திற்கு முரணானது.
86 All thy commandments, are faithful, With falsehood, have they persecuted me, O help me!
உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளெல்லாம் நம்பத்தகுந்தவை; காரணமின்றி மனிதர் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துவதால், எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்.
87 A little more, and they had consumed me in the earth, but, I, forsake not thy precepts.
அவர்கள் என்னைப் பூமியிலிருந்து ஏறக்குறைய அழித்துவிட்டார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைவிடவில்லை.
88 According to thy lovingkindness, give thou me life, so will I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
உம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும், அதினால் நான் உமது வாயின் நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
89 [LAMED.] Age-abidingly, O Yahweh, hath thy word been set up in the heavens.
யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வார்த்தை நித்தியமானது; அது வானங்களில் உறுதியாய் நிற்கின்றது.
90 To generation after generation, is thy faithfulness, Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
உம்முடைய சத்தியம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் தொடர்கிறது; நீர் பூமியை நிலைநிறுத்தினீர், அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
91 By thy regulations, do they stand to-day, for, all, are thy servants.
உம்முடைய சட்டங்கள் இன்றுவரை நிலைத்திருக்கின்றன; ஏனெனில் எல்லாம் உமக்குப் பணி செய்கின்றன.
92 Had not thy law been my dear delight, then, had I perished in mine affliction.
உம்முடைய சட்டம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாய் இராதிருந்தால், நான் என் துன்பத்திலே அழிந்து போயிருப்பேன்.
93 Unto times age-abiding, will I not forget thy precepts, For, by them, hast thou given me life.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை ஒருபோதும் மறவேன்; ஏனெனில் அவைகளால் நீர் என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொண்டீர்.
94 Thine, am I, —oh save me! For, thy precepts, have I sought.
நான் உம்முடையவனாய் இருப்பதால் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; நான் உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய முயற்சித்தேன்.
95 For me, have the lawless waited, to destroy me, Thy testimonies, will I diligently consider.
கொடியவர்கள் என்னை அழிக்கக் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது நியமங்களை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்திப்பேன்.
96 To all perfection, have I seen an end, Broad is thy commandment, exceedingly.
பரிபூரணத்திற்கும் ஓர் எல்லையை நான் காண்கிறேன்; ஆனால் உமது கட்டளைகளோ எல்லையற்றவை.
97 [MEM.] Oh how I love thy law! All the day, is it my (meditation)
ஆ, உமது சட்டத்தை நான் எவ்வளவாய் நேசிக்கிறேன்! நாள்முழுவதும் நான் அதை தியானிக்கிறேன்.
98 Beyond mine enemies, will thy commandment make me wise, for, age-abidingly, shall it be mine.
உமது கட்டளைகள் எப்பொழுதும் என்னுடன் இருப்பதால், அவை எனது பகைவரைப் பார்க்கிலும், என்னை ஞானியாக்கியது.
99 Beyond all my teachers, have I shown discretion, for, thy testimonies, are my (meditation)
நான் உமது நியமங்களைத் தியானிப்பதினால், எனது ஆசிரியர்கள் எல்லோரைப் பார்க்கிலும் நான் அதிக அறிவுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.
100 Beyond the elders, will I show understanding, for, thy precepts, have I observed.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதினால், முதியவர்களைவிட அதிக புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல் உள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன்.
101 From every way of wickedness, have I withheld my feet, that I might keep thy word.
உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி நான் என் நடைகளை, எல்லாத் தீய வழிகளிலுமிருந்து விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்;
102 From thy regulations, have I not turned aside, for, thou, hast directed me.
நான் உமது சட்டங்களைவிட்டு விலகிப் போகாமலிருக்கிறேன்; ஏனெனில் நீர் தாமே அவைகளை எனக்கு போதித்திருக்கிறீர்.
103 How smooth to my palate is thy speech, More than honey, to my mouth.
உமது வார்த்தைகள் எனக்கு எவ்வளவு இனிமையானவை! என் வாய்க்கு அவை தேனைவிட இனிமையானவை.
104 Out of thy precepts, will I get understanding, For this cause, do I hate every false way.
உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளால் நான் விளங்கும் ஆற்றலைப் பெறுகிறேன்; ஆகவே எல்லாத் தவறான வழிகளையும் நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
105 [NUN.] A lamp to my feet, is thy word, and a light to my path.
உமது வார்த்தை எனது கால்களுக்கு விளக்காகவும் என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.
106 I sware, and have fulfilled, To keep thy righteous regulations.
உமது நீதியான சட்டங்களை நான் பின்பற்றுவேன் என்று நான் ஒரு சத்தியப் பிரமாணம் எடுத்தேன்; அதை உறுதிப்படுத்தியும் இருக்கிறேன்.
107 I have been afflicted exceedingly, —O Yahweh, give me life according to thy word.
நான் அதிகமாய் துன்பமடைந்திருக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
108 The freewill offerings of my mouth, accept, I pray thee, O Yahweh, And, thy regulations, teach thou me.
யெகோவாவே, நான் மனப்பூர்வமாக செலுத்தும் என் வாயின் துதிகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்; உமது நீதிநெறிகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
109 My life, is in my hand continually, Yet, thy law, have I not forgotten.
என் உயிர் எப்போதும் ஆபத்தில் இருந்தாலும், உமது சட்டத்தையோ மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
110 The lawless have set a snare for me, Yet, from thy precepts, have I not strayed.
கொடியவர்கள் எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைத்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைவிட்டு விலகவில்லை.
111 As an inheritance have I taken thy testimonies unto times age-abiding, for, the joy of my heart, they are.
உமது நியமங்களே என்றென்றுமாய் எனது பரம்பரைச் சொத்து; அவைகள் என் இருதயத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Age-abidingly, to the end.
உமது விதிமுறைகளை கடைசிவரைக்கும் கைக்கொள்ள என் இருதயம் ஆயத்தமாய் இருக்கிறது.
113 [SAMECH.] Half-hearted ones, do I hate, but, thy law, do I love.
இருமனம் கொண்டவர்களை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன். நானோ உமது சட்டத்தை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
114 My hiding-place and my buckler, thou art, For thy word, have I waited.
நீரே என் புகலிடமும் என் கேடயமுமாய் இருக்கிறீர்; உமது வார்த்தையில் எனது நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
115 Depart from me, ye evil-doers, —that I may observe the commandments of my God.
அக்கிரம செய்கைக்காரே, என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள், நான் என் இறைவனின் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்!
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and do not shame me out of my hope!
உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; அப்பொழுது நான் வாழ்வடைவேன்; என் நம்பிக்கை வீண்போக விடாதேயும்.
117 Sustain me, that I may be saved, and may find dear delight in thy statutes continually.
என்னைத் தாங்கிக்கொள்ளும். அப்பொழுது நான் விடுவிக்கப்படுவேன்; நான் எப்பொழுதும் உமது விதிமுறைகளை மதிப்பேன்.
118 Thou hast made light of all who stray from thy statutes, for their fraud is, falsehood.
உமது விதிமுறைகளிலிருந்து விலகிப்போகிற எல்லோரையும் நீர் புறக்கணிக்கிறீர். அவர்களுடைய வஞ்சனை வெறுமையானது.
119 Dross, have I accounted all the lawless of the earth, therefore do I love thy testimonies.
பூமியிலுள்ள கொடியவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நீர் களிம்பைப்போல் நீக்கிவிடுகிறீர்; ஆகையால் நான் உமது நியமங்களை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
120 My flesh, bristled up from dread of thee, and, of thy regulations, stand I in fear.
உம் மீதுள்ள பயபக்தியால் எனது தசை நடுங்குகிறது; நான் உமது சட்டங்களுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்.
121 [AYIN.] I have done justice and righteousness, —Do not leave me to mine oppressors.
நான் நியாயமும், நீதியுமானதைச் செய்திருக்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களிடத்தில் என்னை விட்டுவிடாதேயும்.
122 Be thou surety for thy servant for good, Let not insolent men oppress me.
உமது பணியாளனின் நல்வாழ்வை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்; அகந்தையுள்ளவர்கள் என்னை ஒடுக்குவதற்கு இடமளியாதேயும்.
123 Mine eyes, have become dim for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
உமது இரட்சிப்பைக் காண்பதற்கும், உமது நீதியான வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் நிறைவேறுவதற்கும் காத்திருந்து, என் கண்கள் மங்கிப்போகின்றன.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy lovingkindness, and, thy statutes, teach thou me.
உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே உமது அடியேனுக்கு செய்தருளி, உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
125 Thy servant, I am—give me understanding, so shall I get to know thy testimonies.
நான் உமது பணியாளன்; உமது நியமங்களை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும்படி எனக்கு பகுத்தறிவைத் தாரும்.
126 It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!
யெகோவாவே, நீர் செயலாற்றும் வேளை வந்தது; உமது சட்டம் மீறப்பட்டுவிட்டது.
127 For this cause, do I love thy commandments, More than gold, yea than fine gold!
உமது கட்டளைகளை தங்கத்தைவிட, சுத்தத் தங்கத்தைவிட அதிகமாய் விரும்புகிறதினாலும்,
128 For this cause, all thy precepts concerning all things, I deem right, Every way of falsehood, I hate.
உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளெல்லாம் நியாயமானவை என்று நான் எண்ணுவதாலும், நான் தவறான வழிகளையெல்லாம் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
129 [PE.] Wonderful are thy testimonies, For this cause, hath my soul observed them.
உமது நியமங்கள் ஆச்சரியமானவை, ஆகையால் நான் அவைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்.
130 The opening of thy words, sheddeth light, Giving understanding to the simple.
உமது வார்த்தைகளின் வெளிப்படுத்தல் வெளிச்சத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றன; அவை எளியவர்களுக்கு புரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஆற்றலைக் கொடுக்கின்றன.
131 My mouth, have I opened wide, and panted, because, for thy commandments, have I longed.
நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை விரும்பி, என் வாயைத் திறந்தவன்னம் ஏங்குகிறேன்.
132 Turn thyself unto me, and show me favour, —As is befitting, to the lovers of thy Name.
உமது பெயரை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நீர் எப்பொழுதும் செய்கிறபடியே, என் பக்கம் திரும்பி என்மேல் இரக்கமாயிரும்.
133 My steps, direct thou by thy word, and let no iniquity, have dominion over me.
உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் காலடிகளை வழிநடத்தி, ஒரு பாவமும் என்னை ஆளுகைசெய்ய விடாதேயும்.
134 Set me free from the oppression of man, so will I keep thy precepts.
மனிதரின் அடக்கு முறையிலிருந்து என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்; அதினால் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
135 Thy face, light thou up on thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
உமது அடியேன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணும்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
136 Streams of water, have run down mine eyes, because men have not kept thy law.
மனிதர் உமது சட்டத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதபடியால், எனது கண்களில் இருந்து கண்ணீர் ஆறாகப் பெருக்கெடுக்கிறது.
137 [ZADHE.] Righteous art thou, O Yahweh, —and, equitable, are thy regulations.
யெகோவாவே, நீர் நீதியுள்ளவர்; உமது சட்டங்கள் நியாயமானவை.
138 Thou hast righteously commanded thy testimonies, yea in great faithfulness.
நீர் ஏற்படுத்திய நியமங்கள் நீதியானவை; அவை முற்றும் நம்பத்தகுந்தவை.
139 My zeal, hath put an end to me, for mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.
என் பகைவர்கள் உமது வார்த்தைகளை உதாசீனம் செய்வதால், எனது தீவிர ஆர்வம் என்னை சுட்டெரிக்கிறது.
140 Refined is thy word, to the uttermost, and, thy servant loveth it.
உமது வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் முற்றிலும் சோதித்து நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன; உமது அடியேன் அவற்றை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
141 Small, am I, and despised, Thy precepts, have I not forgotten.
நான் அற்பமானவனும் வெறுக்கப்பட்டவனுமாய் இருந்தாலும், உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை நான் மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
142 Thy righteousness, is righteous to times age-abiding, and, thy law, is truth.
உமது நீதி நித்தியமானது, உமது சட்டம் உண்மையானது.
143 Straitness and distress, have befallen me, Thy commandments, are my dear delights.
கஷ்டமும் துன்பமும் என்மேல் வந்தன; ஆனாலும், உமது கட்டளைகள் என் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருக்கின்றன.
144 Righteous are thy testimonies, unto times age-abiding, Give me understanding, that I may live.
உமது நியமங்கள் என்றென்றும் நீதியானவை; அவற்றை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும், அதினால் நான் பிழைப்பேன்.
145 [KOPH.] I have cried out with all my heart, answer me, O Yahweh; Thy statutes, will I observe.
யெகோவாவே, என் முழு இருதயத்துடனும் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; எனக்குப் பதில் தாரும், நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
146 I have cried out unto thee, oh save me, That I may keep thy testimonies.
நான் உம்மைக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன், என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; நான் உமது நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
147 I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.
விடிகிறதற்கு முன்னே நான் எழுந்து உதவிக்காகக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையில் என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
148 Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, To meditate in thy word.
உமது வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை நான் தியானிக்கும்படி, இராமுழுவதும் என் கண்கள் விழித்திருக்கின்றன.
149 My voice, O hear, according to thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh! according to thy wont, give me life.
நீர் என்மீது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்புகூறுகிறபடியால் என் குரலைக் கேளும்; யெகோவாவே, உமது சட்டங்களின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
150 They have drawn near, who pursue villainy, From thy law, have they gone far away.
கொடுமையான திட்டங்களைத் தீட்டுகிறவர்கள் எனக்கு அருகே இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால், அவர்கள் உமது சட்டத்திற்குத் தூரமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
151 Near art thou, O Yahweh, and, all thy commandments, are truth.
என்றாலும் யெகோவாவே, நீர் அருகே இருக்கிறீர்; உமது கட்டளைகள் எல்லாம் உண்மை.
152 Long, have I known, from thy testimonies, That, to times age-abiding, thou didst establish them.
உமது நியமங்கள் நித்தியமாய் இருக்க நீர் அவைகளை நிலைநாட்டினீர் என்பதை வெகுகாலத்திற்கு முன்பே நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
153 [RESH.] Behold mine affliction, and rescue me, For, thy law, have I not forgotten.
என் வேதனையைப் பார்த்து என்னை விடுவியும்; ஏனெனில், நான் உமது சட்டத்தை மறந்துவிடவில்லை.
154 Plead my cause, and redeem me, By thy word, give me life
எனக்காக வாதாடி என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
155 Far from the lawless, is salvation, For, thy statutes, have they not sought.
இரட்சிப்பு கொடியவர்களுக்குத் தூரமாய் இருக்கிறதினால், அவர்கள் உமது விதிமுறைகளைத் தேடுவதில்லை.
156 Thy compassions, are great, O Yahweh, According to thy regulations, give me life.
யெகோவாவே, உமது இரக்கம் பெரிதானது; உமது சட்டங்களின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
157 Many, are my persecutors and mine adversaries, From thy testimonies, have I not swerved.
என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிற எதிரிகள் அநேகராயிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்முடைய நியமங்களை விட்டு விலகவில்லை.
158 I have seen traitors, and felt loathing, Because, thy word, they kept not.
துரோகிகளை நான் அருவருப்புடன் பார்க்கிறேன்; ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதில்லை.
159 See thou that, thy precepts, I have loved, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness, give me life.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை எவ்வளவாய் நேசிக்கிறேனென்று பாரும்; யெகோவாவே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
160 The sum of thy word, is truth, and, age-abiding, is every one of thy righteous regulations.
உமது வார்தைகள் எல்லாம் உண்மையானவை; நீதியான உமது சட்டங்கள் எல்லாம் நித்தியமானவை.
161 [SHIN.] Rulers, have persecuted me, without cause, But, of thy word, hath my heart stood in awe.
ஆட்சியாளர்கள் காரணமில்லாமல் என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் என் இருதயம் உமது வார்த்தைக்கு நடுங்குகிறது.
162 Joyful am I over thy word, Like the finder of spoil in abundance.
பெரும் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைக் கண்டுபிடித்து மகிழ்வதுபோல், உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தில் நான் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன்.
163 Falsehood, I hate and abhor, Thy law, do I love.
நான் பொய்யை வெறுத்து அருவருக்கிறேன்; ஆனால் உமது சட்டத்தையோ நான் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
164 Seven times in the day, have I praised thee, For thy righteous regulations.
நீதியான உமது சட்டங்களுக்காக நான் ஒரு நாளில் ஏழுமுறை உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.
165 Blessing in abundance, have the lovers of thy law, and nothing to make them stumble.
உமது சட்டத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்குப் பெரிதான சமாதானம் உண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை.
166 I have looked for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy commandments, have I done.
யெகோவாவே, உமது இரட்சிப்புக்காக நான் காத்திருக்கிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளை நான் பின்பற்றுகிறேன்.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies, yea I have loved them greatly.
நான் உமது நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்; ஏனெனில் நான் அவற்றை அதிகமாய் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
168 I have kept thy precepts, and thy testimonies, For, all my ways, are before thee.
நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்கும் நியமங்களுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்; எனது எல்லா செயல்களும் உமக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கின்றன.
169 [TAU] Let my shouting come near before thee, O Yahweh, According to thy word, give me understanding.
யெகோவாவே, எனது வேண்டுதலை நீர் கேட்பீராக; உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே எனக்கு விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலைத் தாரும்.
170 Let my supplication come in before thee, According to thy word, deliver me.
என் விண்ணப்பத்தை நீர் கேட்பீராக; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படியே என்னை விடுவியும்.
171 My lips, shall pour out, praise, When thou shalt teach me thy statutes.
எனது உதடுகள் துதிகளினால் நிரம்பி வழிகிறது; ஏனெனில், நீர் உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதிக்கிறீர்.
172 My tongue, shall respond, with thy word, For, all thy commandments, are righteous.
எனது நாவு உமது வார்த்தையைக் குறித்துப் பாடட்டும்; ஏனெனில், உமது கட்டளைகள் எல்லாம் நியாயமானவை.
173 Be thy hand ready to help me, For, thy statutes, have I chosen.
உமது கரம் எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய ஆயத்தமாய் இருப்பதாக; ஏனெனில் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறேன்.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy law, is my dear delight.
யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது இரட்சிப்புக்கு வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது சட்டம் எனது மகிழ்ச்சி.
175 Let my soul live, that it may praise thee, So shall thy regulation help me.
நான் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி வாழ்ந்திருப்பேனாக; உமது சட்டங்கள் என்னைத் தாங்குவதாக.
176 I have strayed like a wandering sheep, O seek thy servant, For, thy commandments, have I not forgotten.
காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைப்போல் நான் வழிவிலகிப் போய்விட்டேன்; உமது அடியேனைத் தேடுவீராக; ஏனெனில் நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை மறக்கவில்லை.
