< Psalms 116 >
1 I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;
Ahụrụ m Onyenwe anyị nʼanya, nʼihi na ọ nụrụ olu m; ọ nụrụ mkpu akwa m maka ebere.
2 Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
Nʼihi na o gere m ntị, aga m akpọku ya oge ndụ m niile.
3 The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol )
Agbụ nke ọnwụ kekọrọ m, oke ihe mgbu nke ili bịakwasịrị m; nsogbu na iru ụjụ dakwasịrị m. (Sheol )
4 But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.
Mgbe ahụ, akpọkuru m aha Onyenwe anyị: “O Onyenwe anyị, zọpụta m!”
5 Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.
Onyenwe anyị bụ onye na-eme ebere na onye ezi omume. Chineke anyị jupụtakwara nʼọmịiko.
6 Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.
Onyenwe anyị na-echebe ndị na-enweghị uche; mgbe m nọ nʼọnọdụ mkpa, ọ zọpụtara m.
7 Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Laghachi azụ zuru ike, gị mkpụrụobi m, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị emesola gị mmeso ọma.
8 For thou hast rescued my soul from death, —mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
Nʼihi na gị, o Onyenwe anyị, napụtara mkpụrụobi m site nʼọnwụ, anya m site na anya mmiri akwa, napụtakwa ụkwụ m site nʼịsọ ngọngọ,
9 I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.
ka m nwee ike jegharịa nʼihu Onyenwe anyị nʼime ala ebe ndị dị ndụ bi.
10 I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
Ekwenyere m na Onyenwe anyị mgbe m kwuru sị, “Abụ m onye nọ nʼoke nsogbu,”
11 I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
nʼime ịda mba m, ekwuru m sị, “Mmadụ niile bụ ndị ụgha.”
12 How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
Gịnị ka m ga-enyeghachi Onyenwe anyị nʼihi mmeso ọma niile o mesoro m?
13 The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
Aga m eweli iko nke nzọpụta m elu kpọkuokwa aha Onyenwe anyị.
14 My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
Nʼihu ndị ya niile ka m ga-anọ mezuo nkwa m kwere Onyenwe anyị.
15 Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
Ọnwụ nke ndị nsọ ya dị oke ọnụahịa nʼanya Onyenwe anyị.
16 I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
O Onyenwe anyị, nʼezie, abụ m ohu gị; abụ m ohu gị, nwa nwoke nke ohu gị nwanyị; ị zọpụtala m site na agbụ e kere m.
17 To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
Aga m achụrụ gị aja ekele kpọkuokwa aha Onyenwe anyị.
18 My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —
Ọ bụkwa nʼihu ndị ya niile ka m ga-anọ kwụghachi Onyenwe anyị nkwa m kwere,
19 In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
nʼime ogige ụlọ Onyenwe anyị, nʼetiti gị, O Jerusalem. Toonu Onyenwe anyị.
