Psalms 105
1 Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
याहवेह के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करो, उनको पुकारो; सभी जनताओं के सामने उनके द्वारा किए कार्यों की घोषणा करो.
2 Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
उनकी प्रशंसा में गाओ, उनका गुणगान करो; उनके सभी अद्भुत कार्यों का वर्णन करो.
3 Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
उनके पवित्र नाम पर गर्व करो; उनके हृदय, जो याहवेह के खोजी हैं, उल्लसित हों.
4 Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
याहवेह और उनकी सामर्थ्य की खोज करो; उनकी उपस्थिति के सतत खोजी बने रहो.
5 Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
उनके द्वारा किए अद्भुत कार्य स्मरण रखो तथा उनके द्वारा हुईं अद्भुत बातें एवं निर्णय भी,
6 O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
उनके सेवक अब्राहाम के वंश, उनके द्वारा चुने हुए याकोब की संतान.
7 Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
वह याहवेह हैं, हमारे परमेश्वर; समस्त पृथ्वी पर उनके द्वारा किया गया न्याय स्पष्ट है.
8 He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
उन्हें अपनी वाचा सदैव स्मरण रहती है, वह आदेश जो उन्होंने हजार पीढ़ियों को दिया,
9 Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
वह वाचा, जो उन्होंने अब्राहाम के साथ स्थापित की, प्रतिज्ञा की वह शपथ, जो उन्होंने यित्सहाक से खाई थी,
10 And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
जिसकी पुष्टि उन्होंने याकोब से अधिनियम स्वरूप की, अर्थात् इस्राएल से स्थापित अमर यह वाचा:
11 Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
“कनान देश तुम्हें मैं प्रदान करूंगा. यह वह भूखण्ड है, जो तुम निज भाग में प्राप्त करोगे.”
12 While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
जब परमेश्वर की प्रजा की संख्या अल्प ही थी, जब उनकी संख्या बहुत ही कम थी, और वे उस देश में परदेशी थे,
13 And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
जब वे एक देश से दूसरे देश में भटकते फिर रहे थे, वे एक राज्य में से होकर दूसरे में यात्रा कर रहे थे,
14 He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
परमेश्वर ने किसी भी राष्ट्र को उन्हें दुःखित न करने दिया; उनकी ओर से स्वयं परमेश्वर उन राजाओं को डांटते रहे:
15 Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
“मेरे अभिषिक्तों का स्पर्श तक न करना; मेरे भविष्यवक्ताओं को कोई हानि न पहुंचे!”
16 Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
तब परमेश्वर ने उस देश में अकाल की स्थिति उत्पन्न कर दी. उन्होंने ही समस्त आहार तृप्ति नष्ट कर दी;
17 He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
तब परमेश्वर ने एक पुरुष, योसेफ़ को, जिनको दास बनाकर उस देश में पहले भेज दिया.
18 They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
उन्होंने योसेफ़ के पैरों में बेड़ियां डालकर उन पैरों को ज़ख्मी किया था, उनकी गर्दन में भी बेड़ियां डाल दी गई थीं.
19 Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
तब योसेफ़ की पूर्वोक्ति सत्य प्रमाणित हुई, उनके विषय में, याहवेह के वक्तव्य ने उन्हें सत्य प्रमाणित कर दिया.
20 The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
राजा ने उन्हें मुक्त करने के आदेश दिए, प्रजा के शासक ने उन्हें मुक्त कर दिया.
21 He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
उसने उन्हें अपने भवन का प्रधान तथा संपूर्ण संपत्ति का प्रशासक बना दिया,
22 That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
कि वह उनके प्रधानों को अपनी इच्छापूर्ति के निमित्त आदेश दे सकें और उनके मंत्रियों को सुबुद्धि सिखा सकें.
23 So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
तब इस्राएल ने मिस्र में पदार्पण किया; तब हाम की धरती पर याकोब एक प्रवासी होकर रहने लगे.
24 And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
याहवेह ने अपने चुने हुओं को अत्यंत समृद्ध कर दिया; यहां तक कि उन्हें उनके शत्रुओं से अधिक प्रबल बना दिया,
25 He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
जिनके हृदय में स्वयं परमेश्वर ने अपनी प्रजा के प्रति घृणा उत्पन्न कर दी, वे परमेश्वर के सेवकों के विरुद्ध बुरी युक्ति रचने लगे.
26 He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
तब परमेश्वर ने अपने चुने हुए सेवक मोशेह को उनके पास भेजा, और अहरोन को भी.
27 He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
उन्होंने परमेश्वर की ओर से उनके सामने आश्चर्य कार्य प्रदर्शित किए, हाम की धरती पर उन्होंने अद्भुत कार्य प्रदर्शित किए.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
उनके आदेश ने सारे देश को अंधकारमय कर दिया; क्योंकि उन्होंने परमेश्वर के आदेशों की अवहेलना की.
29 He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
परमेश्वर ही के आदेश से देश का समस्त जल रक्त में बदल गया, परिणामस्वरूप समस्त मछलियां मर गईं.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
उनके समस्त देश में असंख्य मेंढक उत्पन्न हो गए, यहां तक कि उनके न्यायियों के शयनकक्ष में भी पहुंच गए.
31 He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
परमेश्वर ने आदेश दिया और मक्खियों के समूह देश पर छा गए, इसके साथ ही समस्त देश में मच्छर भी समा गए.
32 He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
उनके आदेश से वर्षा ने ओलों का रूप ले लिया, समस्त देश में आग्नेय विद्युज्ज्वाला बरसने लगी.
33 And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
तब परमेश्वर ने उनकी द्राक्षालताओं तथा अंजीर के वृक्षों पर भी आक्रमण किया, और तब उन्होंने उनके देश के वृक्षों का अंत कर दिया.
34 He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
उनके आदेश से अरबेह टिड्डियों ने आक्रमण कर दिया, ये यालेक टिड्डियां असंख्य थीं;
35 And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
उन्होंने देश की समस्त वनस्पति को निगल लिया, भूमि की समस्त उपज समाप्त हो गई.
36 Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
तब परमेश्वर ने उनके देश के हर एक पहलौठे की हत्या की, उन समस्त पहिलौठों का, जो उनके पौरुष का प्रमाण थे.
37 Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
परमेश्वर ने स्वर्ण और चांदी के बड़े धन के साथ इस्राएल को मिस्र देश से बचाया, उसके समस्त गोत्रों में से कोई भी कुल नहीं लड़खड़ाया.
38 Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
मिस्र निवासी प्रसन्न ही थे, जब इस्राएली देश छोड़कर जा रहे थे, क्योंकि उन पर इस्राएल का आतंक छा गया था.
39 He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
उन पर आच्छादन के निमित्त परमेश्वर ने एक मेघ निर्धारित कर दिया था, और रात्रि में प्रकाश के लिए अग्नि भी.
40 They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
उन्होंने प्रार्थना की और परमेश्वर ने उनके निमित्त आहार के लिए बटेरें भेज दीं; और उन्हें स्वर्गिक आहार से भी तृप्त किया.
41 He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
उन्होंने चट्टान को ऐसे खोल दिया, कि उसमें से उनके निमित्त जल बहने लगा; यह जल वन में नदी जैसे बहने लगा.
42 For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
क्योंकि उन्हें अपने सेवक अब्राहाम से की गई अपनी पवित्र प्रतिज्ञा स्मरण की.
43 Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
आनंद के साथ उनकी प्रजा वहां से बाहर लाई गई, उनके चुने हर्षनाद कर रहे थे;
44 And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
परमेश्वर ने उनके लिए अनेक राष्ट्रों की भूमि दे दी, वे उस संपत्ति के अधिकारी हो गए जिसके लिए किसी अन्य ने परिश्रम किया था.
45 In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
कि वे परमेश्वर के अधिनियमों का पालन कर सकें और उनके नियमों को पूरा कर सकें. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
