Psalms 10
1 Wherefore, O Yahweh, shouldst thou stand afar off? [Wherefore] hide thyself, in times of destitution?
हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं किन टाढा खडा हुनुहुन्छ? कष्टको समयमा तपाईं किन आफैलाई लुकाउनुहुन्छ?
2 In the pride of the lawless one, he hotly pursueth the poor, let them be caught in the plots which they have devised!
आफ्नो अहङ्कारको कारणले दुष्ट मानिसहरूले थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूलाई लखेट्छन् । तर दुष्टहरूलाई तिनीहरू आफैले बनाएका योजनाहरूका पासोमा पर्न दिनुहोस् ।
3 For the lawless one hath boasted over the longing of his soul, and, the robber, hath blasphemed Yahweh.
किनकि दुष्ट व्यक्तिले आफ्ना गहिरा इच्छाहरूमा घमण्ड गर्छ । त्यसले लालचीलाई आशिष् दिन्छ र परमप्रभुको अपमान गर्छ ।
4 The lawless one, in the loftiness of his countenance, will not enquire, God is not in any of his plots:
दुष्ट मानिसको मुहार अहङ्कारपूर्ण छ । त्यसले परमेश्वरलाई खोज्दैन । त्यसले परमेश्वरको बारेमा कदापि विचार गर्दैन किनभने त्यसले उहाँको बारेमा केही वास्तै गर्दैन ।
5 His ways are firm at all times, On high, are thy righteous regulations, out of his sight, As for all his adversaries, he puffeth at them:
त्यो हर समय ढुक्क हुन्छ, तर तपाईंका धार्मिक आदेशहरू त्यसको निम्ति अति उच्च छन् । त्यसले आफ्ना सबै शत्रुलाई घृणा गर्छ ।
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be shaken, —From generation to generation, shall I be in no misfortune.
त्यसले आफ्नो मनमा भन्छ, “म कहिल्यै असफल हुन्नँ । सारा पुस्ताभरि नै मैले दुर्दिन देख्नेछैन ।”
7 With cursing, his mouth is full, and with deceptions and oppression, Under his tongue, are trouble and mischief:
त्यसको मुख सराप, छलले र हानिकारक शब्दहरूले पूर्ण हुन्छ । त्यसको जिब्रोले घायल पार्छ र नाश गर्छ ।
8 He abideth in the lurking-place of villages, In the hiding-places, he murdereth the innocent, —His eyes, for the unfortunate, are on the watch:
त्यो गाउँको नजिकै ढुकेर बस्छ । गुप्त ठाउँहरूमा त्यसले निर्दोषको हत्या गर्छ । त्यसका आँखाले बेसाहारा पिडितलाई खोज्छ ।
9 He lieth in wait in a hiding-place, like a lion in his covert, He lieth in wait to catch the humbled, He catcheth the humbled, by drawing him into his net:
सिंह झाडीमा लुकेझैं त्यो गुप्तमा ढुक्छ । थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूलाई समात्न त्यो पर्खेर बस्छ । त्यसले आफ्नो जाल तान्दा थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूलाई समाउँछ ।
10 He croucheth, he lieth down, then falleth he with his strong claws upon the unfortunate.
त्यसका पन्जामा परेकाहरूलाई टेकिन्छन् र पिटिन्छन् । तिनीहरू त्यसको बलियो जालहरूमा फस्छन् ।
11 He hath said in his heart, GOD hath forgotten, —He hath veiled his face, Oh he hath never seen!
त्यसले आफ्नो मनमा भन्छ, “परमेश्वरले बिर्सनुभएको छ । उहाँले आफ्नो मुहार ढाक्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले हेर्ने कष्ट गर्नुहुनेछैन ।”
12 Arise! Yahweh! O GOD! raise thy hand, —Do not forget the patient!
हे परमप्रभु, उठ्नुहोस्! हे परमेश्वर, आफ्नो हात उठाउनुहोस्! तिचिएकाहरूलाई नबिर्सनुहोस् ।
13 Wherefore hath the lawless one blasphemed God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it]!
किन दुष्ट मानिसले परमेश्वरलाई इन्कार गर्छन् र आफ्नो हृदयमा यसो भन्छ, “तपाईंले मलाई जवाफदेही बनाउनु हुनेछैन”?
14 Thou hast seen! For, thou, mischief and misery, dost discern, to requite with thine own hand, Unto thee, doth, the unfortunate one, give himself up, To the fatherless, thou thyself, hast become a helper.
तपाईंले ध्यान दिनुभएको छ, किनकि विपद र दुःख ल्याउनेलाई तपाईंले सदासर्वदा हेर्नुहुन्छ । बेसाहाराले आफैलाई तपाईंमा सुम्पन्छ । तपाईंले अनाथहरूलाई छुटकारा दिनुहुन्छ ।
15 Shatter thou the arm of the lawless one, And, as for the wrongful, wilt thou not enquire for his lawlessness—wilt thou not find [it]?
दुष्ट र खराब मानिसहरूको पाखुरा भाँच्नुहोस् । त्यसलाई आफ्नो दुष्ट कामहरूको लेखा लिनुहोस्, जुन तपाईंले पत्ता लगाउनु हुन्न भनी त्यसले सोच्यो ।
16 Yahweh, is king, to times age-abiding and beyond, The nations have perished out of his land.
परमप्रभु सदासर्वदा राजा हुनुहुन्छ । जातिहरू उहाँको देशबाट लखेटिन्छन् ।
17 The longing of the patient, thou hast heard, O Yahweh, Thou wilt establish their heart, Thou wilt make attentive thine ear:
हे परमप्रभु, थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूको खाँचोहरूका बारेमा तपाईंले सुन्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले तिनीहरूका हृदयलाई मजबुत पार्नुहुन्छ, तपाईंले तिनीहरूका प्रार्थना सुन्नुहुन्छ ।
18 To vindicate the fatherless and the crushed, A man of the earth, shall, no further, cause terror!
तपाईंले अनाथहरू र थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूको रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ ताकि पृथ्वीका कुनै पनि मानिसले फेरि आतङ्कित नपारोस् ।
