Numbers 1

1 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses in the desert of Sinai in the tent of meeting, —on the first of the second month in the second year by their coming forth out of the land of Egypt saying:

2 Reckon ye up the sum of all the assembly of the sons of Israel, by their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, every male, by their polls;

Obliczcie sumę wszystkiego zgromadzenia synów Izraelskich według narodów ich, i według domów ojców ich według imion ich, każdego mężczyznę według głów ich.

3 from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war in Israel, —ye shall number them by their hosts, thou and Aaron;

Ode dwudziestu lat, i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę z Izraela; policzycie je według hufców ich, ty i Aaron.

4 and with you, shall be one man for each tribe, —each man, head of his ancestral house, shall be.

I będzie z wami z każdego pokolenia jeden mąż, któryby przedniejszy był w domu ojców swoich.

5 These, then, are the names of the men who shall stand with you, —Of Reuben, Elizur, son of Shedeur;

A teć są imiona mężów, którzy z wami będą; z pokolenia Rubenowego Elizur, syn Sedeurów.

6 Of Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;

Z pokolenia Symeonowego Salamijel, syn Surysaddajów.

7 Of Judah, Nahshon, son of Amminadab;

Z pokolenia Judowego Naason, syn Aminadabów.

8 Of Issachar, Nethanel, son of Zuar;

Z pokolenia Isascharowego Natanael syn Suharów.

9 Of Zebulun, Eliab, son of Helon;

Z pokolenia Zabulonowego Elijab, syn Helonów.

10 Of the sons of Joseph, —Of Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; Of Manasseh, Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur;

Z synów Józefowych, z pokolenia Efraimowego Elisama, syn Ammiudów; z pokolenia Manasesowego Gamalijel, syn Pedasurów.

11 Of Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;

Z pokolenia Benjaminowego Abidan, syn Gedeonów.

12 Of Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;

Z pokolenia Danowego Achyjezer, syn Ammisadajów.

13 Of Asher, Pagiel, son of Ochran;

Z pokolenia Aserowego Pagijel, syn Ochranów.

14 Of Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;

Z pokolenia Gadowego Elijazaf, syn Duelów.

15 Of Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.

Z pokolenia Neftalimowego Achyra, syn Enanów.

16 These, are they who had been summoned by the assembly, being princes of the tribes of their fathers, —heads of the thousands of Israel.

Ci zwoływani będą najzacniejsi z ludu książęta w pokoleniach ojców swych; wodzami wojsk Izraelskich będą.

17 So then Moses and Aaron took these men, who were distinguished by name;

Przyzwali tedy do siebie Mojżesz i Aaron mężów tych, którzy z imienia mianowani są.

18 all the assembly also, called they together on the first of the second month, —and they declared their pedigree according to their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names from twenty years old and upwards by their polls.

I zebrali wszystko zgromadzenie dnia pierwszego miesiąca wtórego, i przyznawali się do rodzajów swych według familii swych, według domów ojców swych i według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, według osób swych.

19 As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he mustered them in the desert of Sinai.

Jako rozkazał Pan Mojżeszowi, tak je policzył na puszczy Synaj.

20 And they were [as followeth] —The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, in their pedigrees—by their families, by their ancestral houses, in the counting of names, by their polls, every male, from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

I było synów Rubena, pierworodnego Izraelowego, rodzajów ich według familii ich, według domów ojców ich, według liczby imion, według osób ich, wszystkiego pogłowia męskiego od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę;

21 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Reuben, forty-six thousand and five hundred.

Naliczono ich z pokolenia Rubenowego czterdzieści i sześć tysięcy i pięć set.

22 Of the sons of Simeon, in their pedigrees by their families by their ancestral houses, —such as were numbered of him, in the counting of names by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

Z synów Symeonowych rodzajów ich, według familii ich, według domów ojców ich, naliczonych jego, według liczby imion, według osób ich, wszystkiego pogłowia męskiego od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę;

23 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Simeon, fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

24 Of the sons of Gad, in their pedigrees—by their families by their ancestral houses, in the counting of names from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war:

25 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Gad, forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

Naliczono ich z pokolenia Gadowego czterdzieści i pięć tysięcy i sześć set i pięćdziesiąt.

26 Of the sons of Judah, in their pedigrees by their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

Z synów Judowych rodzajów ich według familii ich, według domów ojców ich, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę;

27 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Judah, seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

28 Of the sons of Issachar, in their pedigrees—by their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, from twenty year old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

35 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Manasseh, thirty-two thousand, and two hundred.

Naliczono ich z pokolenia Manasesowego trzydzieści i dwa tysiące i dwieście.

36 Of the sons of Benjamin, in their pedigrees by their families, by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, from twenty years old, and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

37 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Benjamin, thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

38 Of the sons of Dan, in their pedigrees by their families by their ancestral houses, in the counting of names from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

39 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Dan, sixty-two thousand, and seven hundred.

40 Of the sons of Asher, in their pedigrees—by their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, from twenty years old, and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

Z synów Aserowych rodzajów ich według familii ich, według domów ojców ich, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę;

41 such as were numbered of them as belonging to the tribe of Asher, forty-one thousand, and five hundred.

Naliczono ich z pokolenia Aserowego czterdzieści tysięcy i jeden i pięć set.

42 The sons of Naphtali, in their pedigrees by their families by their ancestral houses, —in the counting of names, from twenty years old, and upwards, every one able to go forth to war;

Z synów Neftalimowych rodzajów ich według familii ich, według domów ojców ich, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę;

43 such as were numbered of them, as belonging to the tribe of Naphtali, fifty-three thousand, and four hundred.

Naliczono ich z pokolenia Neftalimowego pięćdziesiąt i trzy tysiące i cztery sta.

44 These, are they who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron and the twelve princes of Israel did number, the princes acting each one for his ancestral house.

Cić są policzeni, które policzył Mojżesz i Aaron, i książęta Izraelskie, dwanaście mężów, którzy byli wybrani po jednemu z domów ojców swych.

45 So then all they who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their ancestral houses, from twenty years old and upwards, every one able to go forth to war in Israel;

I było wszystkich policzonych synów Izraelskich według domów ojców ich, od dwudziestu lat i wyżej, wszystkich wychodzących na wojnę z Izraela;

46 so then all they who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

Było wszystkich policzonych sześć kroć sto tysięcy i trzy tysiące, i pięć set i pięćdziesiąt.

47 But the Levites by the tribe of their fathers were not numbered in their midst.

Ale Lewitowie według pokolenia ojców swych nie byli policzeni między nimi.

48 For Yahweh spake unto Moses saying:

Bo rozkazał był Pan Mojżeszowi, mówiąc:

49 Only the tribe of Levi, shalt thou not number, nor the sum of them, shalt thou reckon up, in the midst of the sons of Israel.

Tylko pokolenia Lewi nie będziesz liczył, a sumy ich nie policzysz między syny Izraelskie;

50 But do, thou thyself, put the Levites in charge over the habitation of the testimony, and over all the furniture thereof and over all that pertaineth thereto, they, shall bear the habitation, and all the furniture thereof, and they, shall attend thereupon; and, round about the habitation, shall they encamp.

Ale postanowisz Lewity nad przybytkiem świadectwa, i nad wszystkiem naczyniem jego, i nad wszystkiem co należy do niego. Oni nosić będą przybytek i wszystkie naczynia jego; oni też służyć będą w nim, a około przybytku obozem się kłaść będą.

51 And, when the habitation is to set forward, the Levites shall take it down, and when the habitation is to be pitched, the Levites, shall set it up, but the stranger that draweth near, shall be put to death.

A gdy się będzie ruszał przybytek, składać go będą Lewitowie; także gdy stanowić się będzie przybytek, stawiać go będą Lewitowie; a kto by obcy do niego przystąpił, umrze.

52 So then the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man, near his own camp, and, every man, near his own standard, by their hosts;

I będą stawać obozem synowie Izraelscy, każdy według pułków swoich, i każdy pod chorągwią swoją, w wojsku swem.

53 but the Levites, shall pitch their tents round about the habitation of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the assembly of the sons of Israel, —so shall the Levites keep the watch of the habitation of the testimony.

Ale Lewitowie kłaść się będą obozem około przybytku świadectwa, aby nie przyszedł gniew mój na zgromadzenie synów Izraelskich: i będą Lewitowie trzymać straż u przybytku świadectwa.

54 Thus did the sons of Israel, —according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so, did they.

Uczynili tedy synowie Izraelscy według wszystkiego, co był rozkazał Pan Mojżeszowi, tak uczynili.
