1 And it came to pass, on the day when Moses made an end of rearing up the habitation and anointing it, and hallowing it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar, and all the utensils thereof, —both of anointing them, and hallowing them,

2 that the princes of Israel, the heads of their ancestral houses, made an offering, —they being princes of the tribes, they being the men who stood over them who were numbered:

3 yea then brought they in as their offering, before Yahweh—six covered waggons, and twelve oxen, a waggon for every two of the princes and an ox for each one, —yea they brought them near before the habitation.
e la portarono davanti all’Eterno: sei carri-lettiga e dodici buoi; vale a dire un carro per due principi e un bove per ogni principe; e li offrirono davanti al tabernacolo.
4 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

5 Take [them] of them, so shall they be for doing the laborious work of the tent of meeting, —and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to the need of his laborious work.
“Prendili da loro per impiegarli al servizio della tenda di convegno, e dalli ai Leviti; a ciascuno secondo le sue funzioni”.
6 So Moses took the waggons, and the oxen, —and gave them unto the Levites:
Mosè prese dunque i carri e i buoi, e li dette ai Leviti.
7 two of the waggons and four of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Gershon, —according to the need of their laborious work;
Dette due carri e quattro buoi ai figliuoli di Gherson, secondo le loro funzioni;
8 and four of the waggons, and eight of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Merari, —according to the need of their laborious work, in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest;

9 but, unto the sons of Kohath, gave he none, —because as to the laborious work of the sanctuary which pertained unto them, upon their shoulders, were they to carry it.

10 So then the princes offered for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed, —yea the princes offered their oblation before the altar,

11 And Yahweh said unto Moses: Each prince on his appointed day, thus shall they offer their oblation, for the dedication of the altar.

12 And so it was, that, he who on the first day, offered his oblation, —was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah;

18 On the second day, Nethanel, son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, brought his offering.

84 This, was the offering for the dedication of the altar in the day when it was anointed, from the princes of Israel, —twelve chargers of silver twelve tossing bowls of silver, twelve spoons of gold;
Questi furono i doni per la dedicazione dell’altare, da parte dei principi d’Israele, il giorno in cui esso fu unto: dodici piatti d’argento, dodici bacini d’argento, dodici coppe d’oro;
85 a hundred and thirty [shekels], each charger of silver, and seventy, each tossing bowl, —all the silver of the vessels, two thousand and four hundred [shekels], by the shekel of the sanctuary;

86 twelve spoons of gold full of incense, ten shekels each spoon by the shekel of the sanctuary, —all the gold of the spoons, a hundred and twenty [shekels].

87 All the herd for the ascending-sacrifice, —twelve bullocks twelve rams twelve he-lambs of the first year with their meal-offering, —twelve young he-goats for the bearing of sin;

88 and all the herd for the peace-offering, twenty-four bullocks sixty rams, sixty he-goats sixty he-lambs of the first year, —this, was the offering for the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.
Totale del bestiame per il sacrifizio di azioni di grazie: ventiquattro giovenchi, sessanta montoni, sessanta capri, sessanta agnelli dell’anno. Tali furono i doni per la dedicazione dell’altare, dopo ch’esso fu unto.
89 And when Moses entered into the tent of meeting, that He might speak with him, then heard he the Voice speaking unto him from off the propitiatory that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, —so He spake unto him.
E quando Mosè entrava nella tenda di convegno per parlare con l’Eterno, udiva la voce che gli parlava dall’alto del propiziatorio che è sull’arca della testimonianza fra i due cherubini; e l’Eterno gli parlava.
