Numbers 34
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
2 Command the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, When, ye, are coming into the land of Canaan, this is the land which shall fall unto you, as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan, by the boundaries thereof.
"Befiehl den Söhnen Israels und sprich zu ihnen: Kommt ihr in das Land Kanaan, dann ist dies das Land, das euch als Eigentum zufällt, das Land Kanaan nach seinen Grenzen.
3 Ye shall therefore have a south corner, from the desert of Zin, on the side of Edom, —so shall ye have a south boundary, from the end of the salt sea, eastward:
Der Südsaum sei euch von der Wüste Sin an Edom entlang, und zwar sei euch Südgrenze das Ende des Salzmeeres im Osten.
4 and the boundary shall go round for you from the south towards the cliffs of Akrabbim, then cross over towards Zin, and the extension thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, then shall it reach out to Hazar-addar, and cross over towards Azmon;
Dann wende sich euch die Grenze südlich von der Skorpionensteige und gehe weiter nach Sin hinüber, bis sie südlich von Kades Barnea endet! Dann laufe sie nach Chasar Addar aus und gehe weiter nach Asmon!
5 then shall the boundary turn round from Azmon towards the ravine of Egypt, —and the extension thereof shall be towards the sea.
Die Grenze wende sich von Asmon zum Bach Ägyptens, bis sie am Meer endet!
6 And, for a west boundary, —ye shall have the great sea, even a boundary, this, shall serve you as west boundary.
Westgrenze sei euch das große Meer und seine Küste! Das soll eure Westgrenze sein!
7 And, this, shall serve you as a north boundary, —From the great sea, ye shall draw a line for you to Mount Hor:
Nordgrenze soll euch dies sein: Vom großen Meere sollt ihr sie euch bis zum Berge Hor ziehen!
8 From Mount Hor, ye shall draw a line to the entering in of Hamath, —and the extension of the boundary shall be towards Zedad:
Vom Berge Hor sollt ihr sie euch bis Chamat ziehen! Endpunkt der Grenze sei Sedad!
9 then shall the boundary reach out towards Ziphron, and the extension thereof, be to Hazar-enan. This, shall serve you as a north, boundary.
Dann laufe die Grenze nach Siphron und weiter bis Chasar Enan als ihrem Endpunkt! Dies soll eure Nordgrenze sein!
10 Then shall ye draw for yourselves a line, for an east boundary, —from Hazar-enan towards Shepham;
Als Ostgrenze setzet euch fest die Strecke von Chasar Enan bis Sepham!
11 and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain—then shall the boundary go down and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:
Die Grenze senke sich von Sepham nach Rebel, östlich von Ain! Dann senke sich die Grenze und stoße auf den Bergrücken östlich vom See Genesareth!
12 then shall the boundary go down towards the Jordan, and the extension thereof be to the salt sea. This shall be your land by the boundaries thereof round about.
Dann senke sich die Grenze an den Jordan, bis sie am Salzmeer endet! Das sollen ringsum des Landes Grenzen sein!'"
13 And Moses commanded the sons of Israel saying, —This, is the land, which ye shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh had commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half tribe.
Und Moses gebot den Israeliten: "Das ist das Land, das ihr euch durch das Los zueignen sollt und das der Herr den neuneinhalb Stämmen zu geben befohlen hat."
14 For the tribe of the sons of the Reubenites by their ancestral house, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their ancestral house, have received, and, the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:
Denn die Familien des Stammes der Rubensöhne und die Familie des Stammes der Gadsöhne und der halbe Stamm Manasse hatten ihren Besitz schon erhalten.
15 the two tribes, and the half tribe, have received their inheritance—on this side Jordan near Jericho, eastwards, towards sunrise.
Die zweieinhalb Stämme hatten ihren Besitz jenseits des Jordan, auf der Ostseite des Jordan bei Jericho erhalten.
16 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
17 These, are the names of the men who shall receive for you the land, as an inheritance, Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun.
"Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die euch das Land zuteilen sollen: der Priester Eleazar und Josue, des Nun Sohn.
18 Also, one prince from each tribe, shall ye take to receive the land, as an inheritance.
Zieht von jedem Stamme je einen Fürsten bei der Landesverteilung hinzu!
19 These, therefore, are the names of the men, —For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
Dies sind die Namen der Männer: vom Stamme Juda Kaleb, Jephunnes Sohn,
20 And, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Ammihud:
vom Stamme der Simeonsöhne Semuel, Ammihuds Sohn,
21 For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
vom Stamme Benjamin Elidad, Kislons Sohn,
22 And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, a prince—Bukki, son of Jogli:
vom Stamme der Dansöhne als Fürst Bukki, Joglis Sohn,
23 For the sons of Joseph, For the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a prince, —Hanniel son of Ephod;
von den Josephsöhnen, vom Stamme der Manassesöhne, als Fürst Channiel, Ephods Sohn,
24 And, for the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a prince, —Kemuel, son of Shiphtan;
vom Stamme der Ephraimsöhne als Fürst Kemuel, Siphtans Sohn,
25 And, for the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a prince, —Elizaphan, son of Parnach;
vom Stamme der Zabulonsöhne als Fürst Elisaphan, Parnaks Sohn,
26 And, for the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a prince, —Paltiel son of Azzan;
vom Stamme der Issakarsöhne als Fürst Paltiel, Azzans Sohn,
27 And, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, a prince, —Ahihud son of Shelomi:
vom Stamme der Assersöhne als Fürst Achihud, Selomis Sohn,
28 And, for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a prince, —Pedahel, son of Ammihud.
von Stamme der Naphtalisöhne, als Fürst Pedahel, Ammihuds Sohn.
29 These, are they whom Yahweh hath commanded to receive for the sons of Israel their inheritance, in the land of Canaan.
Das sind die, denen der Herr befohlen, den Israeliten im Lande Kanaan ihren Besitz auszuteilen."
