Numbers 33
1 These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Voici les stations des enfants d’Israël qui sortirent du pays d’Égypte, selon leurs corps d’armée, sous la conduite de Moïse et d’Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.
Moïse écrivit leurs marches de station en station, d’après l’ordre de l’Éternel. Et voici leurs stations, selon leurs marches.
3 So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;
Ils partirent de Ramsès le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois. Le lendemain de la Pâque, les enfants d’Israël sortirent la main levée, à la vue de tous les Égyptiens.
4 when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,
Et les Égyptiens enterraient ceux que l’Éternel avait frappés parmi eux, tous les premiers-nés; l’Éternel exerçait aussi des jugements contre leurs dieux.
5 Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.
Les enfants d’Israël partirent de Ramsès, et campèrent à Succoth.
6 And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.
Ils partirent de Succoth, et campèrent à Étham, qui est à l’extrémité du désert.
7 And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.
Ils partirent d’Étham, se détournèrent vers Pi-Hahiroth, vis-à-vis de Baal-Tsephon, et campèrent devant Migdol.
8 And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
Ils partirent de devant Pi-Hahiroth, et passèrent au milieu de la mer dans la direction du désert; ils firent trois journées de marche dans le désert d’Étham, et campèrent à Mara.
9 And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.
Ils partirent de Mara, et arrivèrent à Élim; il y avait à Élim douze sources d’eau et soixante-dix palmiers: ce fut là qu’ils campèrent.
10 And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.
Ils partirent d’Élim, et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
11 And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.
Ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
12 And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.
Ils partirent du désert de Sin, et campèrent à Dophka.
13 And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.
Ils partirent de Dophka, et campèrent à Alusch.
14 And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
Ils partirent d’Alusch, et campèrent à Rephidim, où le peuple ne trouva point d’eau à boire.
15 And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.
Ils partirent de Rephidim, et campèrent dans le désert de Sinaï.
16 And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.

22 And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.

23 And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.

24 And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.

35 And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.

36 And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.

37 And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;
Ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent à la montagne de Hor, à l’extrémité du pays d’Édom.
38 and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.
Le sacrificateur Aaron monta sur la montagne de Hor, suivant l’ordre de l’Éternel; et il y mourut, la quarantième année après la sortie des enfants d’Israël du pays d’Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois.
39 Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.
Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans lorsqu’il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.
Le roi d’Arad, Cananéen, qui habitait le midi du pays de Canaan, apprit l’arrivée des enfants d’Israël.
41 And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.
Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, et campèrent à Tsalmona.
42 And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.
Ils partirent de Tsalmona, et campèrent à Punon.
43 And they brake up from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
Ils partirent de Punon, et campèrent à Oboth.
44 And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.
Ils partirent d’Oboth, et campèrent à Ijjé-Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
45 And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.

46 And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47 And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48 And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.
Ils partirent des montagnes d’Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.
49 Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.
Ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth-Jeschimoth jusqu’à Abel-Sittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
50 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:
L’Éternel parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho. Il dit:
51 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et dis-leur: Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain et que vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan,
52 then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.
vous chasserez devant vous tous les habitants du pays, vous détruirez toutes leurs idoles de pierre, vous détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte, et vous détruirez tous leurs hauts lieux.
53 So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.
Vous prendrez possession du pays, et vous vous y établirez; car je vous ai donné le pays, pour qu’il soit votre propriété.
54 And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.
Vous partagerez le pays par le sort, selon vos familles. A ceux qui sont en plus grand nombre vous donnerez une portion plus grande, et à ceux qui sont en plus petit nombre vous donnerez une portion plus petite. Chacun possédera ce qui lui sera échu par le sort: vous le recevrez en propriété, selon les tribus de vos pères.
55 But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.
Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d’entre eux que vous laisserez seront comme des épines dans vos yeux et des aiguillons dans vos côtés, ils seront vos ennemis dans le pays où vous allez vous établir.
56 And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
Et il arrivera que je vous traiterai comme j’avais résolu de les traiter.
