Numbers 33
1 These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ce sont ici les traites des fils d’Israël, qui sortirent du pays d’Égypte, selon leurs armées, sous la main de Moïse et d’Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.
Et Moïse écrivit leurs départs, selon leurs traites, suivant le commandement de l’Éternel; et ce sont ici leurs traites, selon leurs départs.
3 So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;
Ils partirent de Ramsès, le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois: le lendemain de la Pâque, les fils d’Israël sortirent à main levée, aux yeux de tous les Égyptiens;
4 when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,
et les Égyptiens enterraient ceux que l’Éternel avait frappés parmi eux, tous les premiers-nés; et l’Éternel avait exécuté des jugements sur leurs dieux.
5 Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.
Et les fils d’Israël partirent de Ramsès, et campèrent à Succoth.
6 And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.
Et ils partirent de Succoth, et campèrent à Étham, qui est à l’extrémité du désert.
7 And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.
Et ils partirent d’Étham et retournèrent à Pi-Hahiroth, qui est vis-à-vis de Baal-Tsephon, et campèrent devant Migdol.
8 And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
Et ils partirent de devant Hahiroth, et passèrent au milieu de la mer, vers le désert, et allèrent le chemin de trois jours dans le désert d’Étham, et campèrent à Mara.
9 And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.
Et ils partirent de Mara, et vinrent à Élim; et à Élim, il y avait douze fontaines d’eau et 70 palmiers, et ils campèrent là.
10 And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.
Et ils partirent d’Élim, et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
11 And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.
Et ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
12 And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.
Et ils partirent du désert de Sin, et campèrent à Dophka.
13 And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.
Et ils partirent de Dophka, et campèrent à Alush.
14 And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
Et ils partirent d’Alush, et campèrent à Rephidim, où il n’y avait pas d’eau à boire pour le peuple.
15 And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.
Et ils partirent de Rephidim, et campèrent dans le désert de Sinaï.
16 And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.

20 And they brake up from Rimmon-perez, —and encamped in Libnah.

21 And they brake up from Libnah, —and encamped in Rissah.
Et ils partirent de Libna, et campèrent à Rissa.
22 And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.
Et ils partirent de Rissa, et campèrent à Kehélatha.
23 And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.
Et ils partirent de Kehélatha, et campèrent dans la montagne de Shapher.
24 And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.

25 And they brake up from Haradah, —and encamped in Makheloth.

34 And they brake up from Jotbathah, —and encamped in Abronah.

35 And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.
Et ils partirent d’Abrona, et campèrent à Étsion-Guéber.
36 And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.
Et ils partirent d’Étsion-Guéber, et campèrent dans le désert de Tsin, qui est Kadès.
37 And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;
Et ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent dans la montagne de Hor, aux confins du pays d’Édom.
38 and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.
Et Aaron le sacrificateur monta sur la montagne de Hor, suivant le commandement de l’Éternel, et il y mourut, en la quarantième année après que les fils d’Israël furent sortis du pays d’Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier [jour] du mois:
39 Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.
et Aaron était âgé de 123 ans, quand il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.
Et le Cananéen, roi d’Arad, qui habitait le midi, dans le pays de Canaan, apprit que les fils d’Israël venaient.
41 And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.
Et ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, et campèrent à Tsalmona.
42 And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.
Et ils partirent de Tsalmona, et campèrent à Punon.
43 And they brake up from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
Et ils partirent de Punon, et campèrent à Oboth.
44 And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.
Et ils partirent d’Oboth, et campèrent à Ijim-Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
45 And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.
Et ils partirent d’Ijim, et campèrent à Dibon-Gad.
46 And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
Et ils partirent de Dibon-Gad, et campèrent à Almon, vers Diblathaïm.
47 And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
Et ils partirent d’Almon vers Diblathaïm, et campèrent dans les montagnes d’Abarim, devant Nebo.
48 And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.
Et ils partirent des montagnes d’Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jéricho;
49 Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.
et ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth-Jeshimoth jusqu’à Abel-Sittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
50 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:
Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jéricho, disant:
51 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
Parle aux fils d’Israël, et dis-leur: Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain [et que vous serez entrés] dans le pays de Canaan,
52 then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.
vous déposséderez tous les habitants du pays devant vous, et vous détruirez toutes leurs figures sculptées, et vous détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte, et vous dévasterez tous leurs hauts lieux;
53 So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.
et vous prendrez possession du pays, et vous y habiterez, car je vous ai donné le pays pour le posséder.
54 And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.
Et vous recevrez le pays en héritage par le sort, selon vos familles: à ceux qui sont nombreux, vous augmenterez l’héritage, et à ceux qui sont peu nombreux, vous diminuerez l’héritage; là où le sort lui sera échu, là sera [l’héritage] de chacun: vous hériterez selon les tribus de vos pères.
55 But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.
Et si vous ne dépossédez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d’entre eux que vous laisserez de reste seront comme des épines à vos yeux et comme des piquants dans vos côtés, et ils vous opprimeront dans le pays que vous habiterez.
56 And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
Et il arrivera que je vous ferai à vous, comme j’ai pensé de leur faire, à eux.
