Numbers 32
1 Now, much cattle, had come into the possession of the sons of Reuben and of the sons of Gad, an exceeding mighty number. And when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, lo! the place, was a place for cattle.
Mutanen Ruben da mutanen Gad, da suke da garken shanu da kuma garke tumaki masu yawa, suka ga cewa ƙasashen Yazer da Gileyad wurare ne masu kyau don kiwon shanu da tumaki.
2 So the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben came in, —and spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of assembly, saying,
Saboda haka suka zo wurin Musa da Eleyazar da kuma shugabannin jama’a, suka ce,
3 As touching Ataroth and Dibon, and Jazer and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, —and Sebam and Nebo, and Beon-
“Atarot, Dibon, Yazer, Nimra, Heshbon, Eleyale, Sebam, Nebo da Beyon,
4 the land which Yahweh smote before the assembly of Israel, a land for cattle, it is, —and, thy servants, have cattle.
ƙasar da Ubangiji ya ci da yaƙi a gaban mutane Isra’ila, suna da kyau don dabbobi, bayinku kuma suna da dabbobi.”
5 And they said—If we have found favour in thine eyes, let this land be given unto thy servants, for a possession, —do not take us over the Jordan.
Suka ce, “In mun sami tagomashi daga gare ka bari a ba da wannan ƙasa ga bayinka, tă zama mallakanmu. Kada ka sa mu haye Urdun.”
6 Then said Moses unto the sons of Gad and unto the sons of Reuben, —Shall, your brethren, go into the war, and ye, settle down here?
Musa ya ce wa mutanen Gad da mutanen Ruben, “Wato, sai’yan’uwanku su yi ta yaƙi ku kuwa ku zauna nan?
7 Wherefore, then, should ye dissuade the heart of the sons of Israel, from passing over into the land which Yahweh hath given to them?
Don me za ku karya zuciya Isra’ilawa daga hayewa zuwa ƙasar da Ubangiji ya ba su?
8 Thus, did your fathers, —when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea, to view the land,
Haka iyayenku suka yi sa’ad da na aike su daga Kadesh Barneya don su dubo ƙasar.
9 and they went up as far as the ravine of Eschol, and viewed the land, and then dissuaded the heart of the sons of Israel from entering into the land, which Yahweh had given them.
Gama bayan suka haura Kwarin Eshkol suka hangi ƙasar, sai suka karya zuciyar Isra’ilawa daga shigar ƙasar da Ubangiji ya ba su.
10 Then was the anger of Yahweh kindled on that day, —and he sware, saying:
A ranar kuwa Ubangiji ya husata har ya yi wannan rantsuwa cewa,
11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt from twenty years old and upwards, shall see the soil, which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac and unto Jacob, because they have not followed after me fully;
‘Tabbatacce ba wani daga cikin mutanen da suka fito daga Masar, tun daga mai shekara ashirin zuwa gaba, da zai ga ƙasar da na rantse zan ba Ibrahim, da Ishaku, da Yaƙub, domin ba su bi ni sosai ba,
12 save Caleb son of Jephunneh, the Kenezite, and Joshua, son of Nun, —for they followed after Yahweh, fully.
ba ko ɗaya sai dai Kaleb ɗan Yefunne Bakenizze da Yoshuwa ɗan Nun, don su ne kaɗai suka bi Ubangiji da zuciya ɗaya.’
13 So the anger of Yahweh kindled upon Israel, and he made them wander in the desert, forty years, —until all the generation who had done the evil in the eyes of Yahweh, had wasted away!
Ubangiji ya husata da Isra’ila har ya sa suka yi ta yawo a hamada shekara arba’in, sai da dukan tsaran da suka aikata wannan mugunta a gabansa, suka mutu.
14 Lo! therefore, ye have arisen in the room of your fathers, a brood of sinful men, —to heap up yet more upon the heat of the anger of Yahweh, towards Israel.
“Ga shi ku kuma, tarin masu zunubi, kuna tsaya a matsayin kakanninku, kuna sa Ubangiji yă sāke husata da Isra’ila.
15 If ye do turn away from following him, then will he yet again leave them behind in the desert, —so shall ye bring destruction upon all this people.
In kun juye daga binsa, zai sāke barin dukan wannan mutane a hamada, ku ne kuwa za ku zama sanadin hallakarsu.”
16 Then came they near unto him, and said, Folds, for flocks, would we build for our cattle, here, —and cities for our little ones;
Sai suka zo wurin Musa, suka ce, “Muna so mu gina katangar dutse don dabbobinmu, da kuma birane don matanmu da’ya’yanmu a nan.
17 but, we, would arm ourselves promptly, before the sons of Israel, until that we have brought them into their place, —so should our little ones remain in the fortified cities, because of the inhabitants of the land.
Matanmu da’ya’yanmu za su zauna a biranen da suke da katanga, don kāriya daga mazaunan ƙasar, amma mu, za mu ɗauki makamai mu tafi tare da sauran Isra’ilawa, har mu kai su wuraren zamansu.
18 We would not return unto our houses, —until the sons of Israel have possessed themselves each man, of his inheritance.
Ba za mu koma gidajenmu ba sai kowane mutumin Isra’ila ya sami gādonsa.
19 For we would not inherit with them, over the Jordan, and onwards, —because our inheritance hath come unto us on this side the Jordan towards sunrise.
Ba za mu ci gādo tare da su a wancan hayin Urdun ba, domin mun sami gādonmu a wannan hayin gabashin Urdun.”
20 And Moses said unto them, If ye will indeed do this thing, —if ye will arm yourselves, before Yahweh, for the war;
Sai Musa ya ce musu, “In za ku yi haka, in za ku sha ɗamara da makamai a gaban Ubangiji, ku tafi yaƙi,
21 and every armed man of you pass over the Jordan before Yahweh, —until he hath dispossessed his enemies, from before him;
in kuma dukanku za ku yi ɗamara, ku ɗauki makaman yaƙi a hayin Urdun a gaban Ubangiji har lokacin da ya kori abokan gābansa daga gabansa,
22 and the land be subdued before Yahweh then afterwards, shall ye return, and shall be acquitted by Yahweh and by Israel, —and this land shall be yours for a possession before Yahweh.
to, sa’ad da aka ci ƙasar a gaban Ubangiji, kwa kuɓuta daga alhakinku ga Ubangiji da kuma Isra’ila. Ƙasan nan kuwa za tă zama mallakarku a gaban Ubangiji.
23 But, if ye shall not do this, lo! ye will have sinned against Yahweh, —and take note of your sin, that it will find you out.
“Amma in ba ku yi haka ba, kun yi zunubi ke nan ga Ubangiji; kuma ku san cewa zunubinku zai tone ku.
24 Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your flocks, —and then that which hath gone forth from your mouth, ye shall do.
Ku gina birane domin matanku da’ya’yanku, ku gina katanga kuma domin dabbobinku, amma fa ku cika abin da kuka yi alkawari.”
25 Then spake the sons of Gad, and the sons of Reuben unto Moses, saying, —thy servants, will do, as, my lord, is giving command.
Mutanen Gad da mutanen Ruben, suka ce wa Musa, “Mu bayinka za mu yi yadda ranka yă daɗe ya umarta.
26 Our little ones, our wives, our cattle, and all our beasts, shall remain there in the cities of Gilead;
’Ya’yanmu da matanmu, garkunan shanunmu da na tumakinmu, za su kasance a nan biranen Gileyad.
27 and thy servants, will pass over every one armed for war, before Yahweh to battle, —as, my lord is speaking.
Amma bayinka, kowane mutum a cikinmu zai haye a gaban Ubangiji, zuwa yaƙi kamar yadda ranka yă daɗe ya faɗa.”
28 So Moses gave command concerning them, unto Eleazar the priest and unto Joshua son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes, of the sons of Israel;
Sai Musa ya yi wa Eleyazar firist, da Yoshuwa ɗan Nun, da shugabannin gidajen kakannin kabilan mutanen Isra’ila kashedi a kansu,
29 and Moses said unto them—If the sons of Gad and the son of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every one armed for the war before Yahweh, and the land be subdued before you, then shall ye give unto them the land of Gilead, for a possession.
ya ce, “In kowane sojan mutanen Gad da na mutanen Ruben, ya ɗauki makaman yaƙi, ya haye Urdun tare da ku a gaban Ubangiji, to, sa’ad da a ci ƙasar a gabanku, ku ba da ƙasar Gileyad tă zama mallakarsu.
30 But, if they will not pass over armed, with you, then shall they accept a possession in your midst, in the land of Canaan.
Amma in ba su haye tare da ku da shirin yaƙi ba, to, sai ku ba su gādo a wancan haye kamar sauran kabilun a Kan’ana.”
31 Then responded the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben, saying, —That which Yahweh had spoken unto thy servants, so, will we do.
Mutanen Gad da mutanen Ruben suka amsa, suka ce, “Barorinka za su yi abin da Ubangiji ya faɗa.
32 We, will pass over armed, before Yahweh into the land of Canaan, —then shall be ours, the possession of our inheritance across the Jordan.
Za mu haye a gaban Ubangiji zuwa Kan’ana, amma mallakarmu ta gādo, za tă kasance a wannan hayi na Urdun.”
33 So then Moses gave unto them even unto the sons of Gad and unto the sons of Reuben and unto the half tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of sihon, king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og, the king of Bashan, the land by her cities with boundaries, even the cities of the land round about.
Sai Musa ya ba wa mutanen Gad, mutanen Ruben, da rabin mutanen Manasse ɗan Yusuf, masarautar Sihon, sarkin Amoriyawa, da masarautar Og na Bashan, dukan ƙasar, tare da biranenta da kuma yankunan da suke kewaye.
34 And the sons of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, —and Aroer;
Mutanen Gad suka gina Dibon, Atarot, Arower,
35 and Atroth-shophan and Jazer, and Jogbehah;
Atrot Shofan, Yazer, Yogbeha,
36 and Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, —fortified cities and folds for flocks.
Bet-Nimra, da Bet-Haran a matsayin birane masu katanga, suka kuma gina katanga don dabbobinsu.
37 And the sons of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, —and Kiriathaim,
Mutanen Ruben suka sāke gina Heshbon, Eleyale, da Kiriyatayim,
38 and Nebo and Baal-meon—their names being changed, and Sibmah, —and they gave names to the cities which they built.
haka kuma suka gina Nebo da Ba’al-Meyon (an canja waɗannan sunaye) suka kuma gina Sibma. Suka ba wa biranen da suka sāke ginawa sunaye.
39 Then went the sons of Machir son of Manasseh to Gilead, and captured it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were therein,
Zuriyar Makir ɗan Manasse suka tafi Gileyad, suka ci ta da yaƙi, suka kori mutanen Amoriyawa da suke can.
40 So Moses gave Gilead unto Machir son of Manasseh, and he dwelt therein.
Saboda haka Musa ya ba da Gileyad ga mutanen Makir, zuriyar Manasse, suka kuma zauna a can.
41 And Jair, son of Manasseh, went, and captured their encampments, —and called them Havvoth-jair ["The encampments of Jair"].
Yayir, wani ɗan Manasse, ya ci ƙauyukansu da yaƙi, ya kuma ba su sunan Hawwot Yayir.
42 And, Nobah, went, and captured Kenath, with the villages thereof, —and called it Nobah, after his own name.
Noba kuma ya ci Kenat da ƙauyukanta da yaƙi, ya kuma ba ta suna Noba, bisa ga sunansa.
