Numbers 24
1 And when Balaam saw that it was good in the eyes of Yahweh to bless Israel, he went not as at other times to invoke enchantments, —but set towards the desert, his face.
Oo Balcaamna markuu arkay in Rabbigu ku farxay inuu reer binu Israa'iil barakeeyo, ma uu tegin sidii mararkii kale inuu sixir doondoono, laakiinse wuxuu wejigiisii u jeediyey xagga cidlada.
2 So Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel, dwelling, according to his tribes, —then came upon him the Spirit of God;
Markaasaa Balcaam indhaha kor u qaaday, oo wuxuu arkay reer binu Israa'iil oo qabiil qabiil u deggan, kolkaasaa waxaa isagii ku soo degay ruuxii Ilaah.
3 and he took up his parable, and said, —The oracle of Balaam, son of Beor, Yea the oracle of the man, of opened eye;
Markaasuu hadalkiisii watay oo wuxuu yidhi, Balcaam ina Becoor wuxuu leeyahay, Oo ninkii ishiisu daboolnaan jirtay wuxuu leeyahay,
4 The oracle of one hearing sayings of GOD, Who the sight of the Almighty, receiveth in vision, Who falleth down but hath unveiled eyes: —
Wuxuu leeyahay kii erayadii Ilaah maqla Oo tusniintii Ilaaha Qaadirka ah arka, Oo dhaca isagoo indhihiisu furan yihiin,
5 How pleasing are thy tents, O Jacob, —Thy habitations, O Israel:
Teendhooyinkiinnu wanaagsanaa, Reer Yacquubow, Oo taambuugyadiinnu qurxoonaa, Reer binu Israa'iilow!
6 Like ravines extended, Like gardens by a river, —Like aloe-trees Yahweh hath planted, Like cedars by waters:
Waxay u fidsan yihiin sidii dooxooyin, Iyo sidii beero webiga barbarkiisa ku yaal, Iyo sidii geedo dacar ah oo Rabbigu beeray, Iyo sidii geedo kedar ah oo biyo ku ag yaal.
7 He poureth forth water from his buckets, And, his seed, is among many waters, —And taller than Agag is his King, And exalted is his kingdom.
Baaldiyadooda waxaa ka daadan doona biyo, Oo farcankoodu wuxuu ku jiri doonaa biyo badan, Oo boqorkooduna wuu ka sarrayn doonaa Agag, Oo boqortooyadoodana waa la sarraysiin doonaa.
8 GOD having brought him forth out of Egypt, The very horns of the buffalo, are his, —He eateth up nations that assail him And the bones of them, he breaketh And the loins of him, he crusheth:
Ilaah baa iyaga Masar ka soo bixiyey, Oo iyagu waxay leeyihiin xoog gisiyeed oo kale, Oo waxay cuni doonaan quruumaha cadaawayaashooda ah, Oo lafahooda way jejebin doonaan, Oo waxay iyaga ka mudhbixin doonaan fallaadhahooda.
9 He hath knelt—hath lain down, Like a strong lion, yea like a lioness, Who shall rouse him up? Such as bless thee are each one blessed, But, such, as curse thee, are each one cursed.
Iyagu hoos bay isu gaabiyeen, oo sida aar bay u jiifsadeen, Iyo sida gool libaax; haddaba bal yaa kicin doona? Duco ha ku dhacdo ku alla kii idiin duceeya, Oo habaarna ha ku dhaco ku alla kii idin habaara.
10 Then kindled the anger of Balak against Balaam, and he smote together his hands, —and Balak said unto Balaam—To revile my foes, I called thee, And lo! thou hast kept on blessing, these three times.
Markaasaa Baalaaq aad ugu cadhooday Balcaam, oo gacmihiisuu isku dhuftay. Oo Baalaaq wuxuu Balcaam ku yidhi, Waxaan kuugu yeedhay inaad cadaawayaashayda ii habaartid, oo bal eeg, saddexdan jeer baad u wada ducaysay.
11 Now, therefore, flee thou unto thy place, —I said, I will, highly honour, thee; but lo! Yahweh hath kept thee back from honour.
Haddaba meeshaadii ku carar. Anigu waxaan damacsanaa inaan derejo weyn ku siiyo, laakiinse Rabbigu dib buu kaaga celiyey derejadii.
12 And Balaam said unto Balak, —Was it not so that even unto thy messengers whom thou didst send unto me, I spake saying-
Kolkaasaa Balcaam wuxuu Baalaaq ku yidhi, War kuwii farriin kaa waday miyaanan u sheegin oo aanan ku odhan,
13 Though Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, yet could I not go beyond the bidding of Yahweh, to, do good or ill, out of my own heart, —what Yahweh shall speak, that, must I speak?
Haddii Baalaaq i siiyo gurigiisa oo lacag iyo dahab ka buuxo, anigu kama tallaabsan karo erayga Rabbiga inaan maankayga ka sameeyo xumaan iyo samaan toona. Wixii Rabbigu ku hadlo, kaas uun baan ku hadli doonaa.
14 Now, therefore, behold me! going to my own people, —Come now! let me advise thee, what this people shall do unto thy people in the after-part of the days.
Haddaba waxaan u tegayaa dadkaygii, oo bal kaalay aan kuu sheego waxay dadkanu dadkaaga ku samayn doonaan maalmaha ugu dambaysta.
15 So he took up his parable and said, —The oracle of Balaam, son of Beor, Yea the oracle of the man, of opened eye;
Markaasuu hadalkiisii sii watay oo wuxuu yidhi, Balcaam ina Becoor wuxuu leeyahay, Oo ninkii ishiisu daboolnaan jirtay wuxuu leeyahay,
16 The oracle of one hearing sayings of GOD, And knowing the knowledge of the Most High, —Who the sight of the Almighty, receiveth in vision, Who falleth down but hath unveiled eyes: —
Wuxuu leeyahay kii erayadii Ilaah maqla, Oo yaqaan aqoonta Kan ugu sarreeya, Oo tusniintii Ilaaha Qaadirka ah arka, Oo dhaca, isagoo indhihiisu furan yihiin,
17 I see One, who is not now, I observe One, who is not nigh, —There hath marched forth a Star out of Jacob. And arisen a Sceptre out of Israel, That hath dishonoured the beard of Moab, Yea the crown of the head of all the tumultuous;
Isagaan arkaa, haddase ma aha, Waan u jeedaa, mase dhowa, Reer Yacquub xiddig baa ka soo bixi doonta, Reer binu Israa'iil waxaa ka soo kici doonta ul boqortooyo, Oo waxay burburin doontaa rukummada Moo'aab, Oo waxay baabbi'in doontaa dadka Sheed oo dhan.
18 So Edom hath become a possession, Yea a possession is Seir to his foes, —But, Israel, is doing valiantly;
Oo dalka Edom wuxuu noqonayaa hantidooda, Oo Seciir oo isna cadowgooda ahaa hantidooduu noqonayaa. Oo reer binu Israa'iil way xoogaysan doonaan.
19 Yea One wieldeth dominion out of Jacob, —Who hath destroyed the remnant out of the fortress.
Oo mid reer Yacquub ka soo farcamay ayaa xukun yeelan doona, Oo wuxuu baabbi'in doonaa kuwa magaalada ka hadha.
20 And, when he saw Amalek, he took up, his parable, and said—The beginning of nations, —Amalek, But his latter end is even to perish.
Markaasuu Camaaleq eegay, oo hadalkiisii sii watay oo yidhi, Camaaleq wuxuu ahaa kan quruumaha ugu horreeya, Laakiinse ugudambaysta wuu halligmi doonaa.
21 And when he saw the Kenite, he took up his parable, and said, —Enduring thy dwelling-place, Set thou then in the crag, thy nest;
Oo haddana wuxuu eegay reer Qeyn, markaasuu hadalkiisii sii watay oo yidhi, Meeshaad deggan tihiin waa adag tahay, Oo buulkiinnana dhagaxaa laga dhisay.
22 Yet shall it be for destruction, O Kain, —How long shall Assyria hold thee captive?
Habase yeeshee waa laydin baabbi'in doonaa, reer Qeynow, Jeer ay reer Ashuur maxaabiis ahaan idiin kaxaystaan.
23 And he took up his parable, and said, —Alas who shall survive its fulfillment by GOD;
Markaasuu hadalkiisii sii watay oo wuxuu yidhi, Hoogay, ee bal yaa sii noolaan doona markii Ilaah waxan sameeyo?
24 When, ships, [come] from the coast of the isles, And humble Assyria, and humble the Hebrew, —And he too, is even to perish?
Laakiinse doonniyo waxay ka iman doonaan xeebta Kitiim, Oo waxay dhibi doonaan Ashuur, oo waxay dhibi doonaan Ceeber, Oo isna wuu halligmi doonaa.
25 Then Balaam arose, and went and returned unto his place, —and, Balak also, went his way.
Markaasaa Balcaam kacay oo ku noqday meeshiisii; Baalaaqna wuu iska tegey.
