Numbers 18

1 And Yahweh said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and the house of thy father with thee, shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary, —and, thou, and thy sons with thee, shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

௧பின்பு யெகோவா ஆரோனை நோக்கி: “நீயும் உன்னுடன் உன்னுடைய மகன்களும் உன்னுடைய தகப்பன் வம்சத்தாரும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைப்பற்றிய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமக்கவேண்டும்; நீயும் உன்னுடன் உன்னுடைய மகன்களும் உங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தைப்பற்றிய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமக்க வேண்டும்.

2 Therefore also thy brethren of the tribe of Levi the stem of thy father, bring thou near with thee, and let them be joined unto thee, and let them wait upon thee, —both on thee and on thy sons with thee, before the tent of the testimony.

௨உன்னுடைய தகப்பனாகிய லேவியின் கோத்திரத்தாரான உன்னுடைய சகோதரர்களையும் உன்னோடே கூடியிருக்கவும் உன்னிடத்திலே சேவிக்கவும் அவர்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்; நீயும் உன்னுடைய மகன்களுமோ சாட்சியின் கூடாரத்திற்குமுன்பு ஊழியம் செய்யவேண்டும்.

3 So shall they keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tent, —only, unto the vessels of the sanctuary, and unto the altar, shall they not come near, lest they die—both they, and ye.

௩அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய காவலையும் கூடாரம் அனைத்தின் காவலையும் காக்கவேண்டும்; ஆனாலும் அவர்களும் நீங்களும் சாகாதபடி, அவர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் பணிப்பொருட்களின் அருகிலும் பலிபீடத்தின் அருகிலும் சேராமல்,

4 So shall they be joined unto thee, and shall keep the charge of the tent of meeting, as to all the laborious work of the tent, —but a stranger, shall not come near unto you.

௪உன்னோடே கூடிக்கொண்டு, கூடாரத்தின் எல்லா வேலையையும் செய்ய, ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் காவலைக் காக்கவேண்டும்; அந்நியன் ஒருவனும் உங்களிடத்தில் சேரக்கூடாது.

5 So shall ye keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar, —that there no more be wrath against the sons of Israel.

௫இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள்மேல் இனிக் கடுங்கோபம் வராதபடி, நீங்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் காவலையும் பலிபீடத்தின் காவலையும் காக்கவேண்டும்.

6 I, therefore, lo! I have taken your brethren the Levites, out of the midst of the sons of Israel, —unto you, as a gift are they given, unto Yahweh, to do the laborious work of the tent of meeting.

௬ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் வேலையைச் செய்ய, யெகோவாவுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட உங்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய லேவியர்களை நான் இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியாரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உங்களுக்கு பரிசாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

7 But thou and thy sons with thee, shall keep the charge of your priesthood, as to every matter of the altar and as to the interior of the veil, and shall do the laborious work, as a laborious service of gifts, do I give your priesthood, and, the stranger who cometh near shall be put to death.

௭ஆகையால் நீயும் உன்னோடேகூட உன்னுடைய மகன்களும் பலிபீடத்திற்கும் திரைக்கு உட்புறத்திற்கும் அடுத்த எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்வதற்காக, உங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தைக் காத்துச் சேவிக்கவேண்டும்; உங்களுடைய ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தை உங்களுக்கு பரிசாக அருளினேன்; அதைச் செய்யும்படி சேருகிற அந்நியன் கொலை செய்யப்படவேண்டும்” என்றார்.

8 And Yahweh spake unto Aaron, I, therefore, lo! I have given unto thee the charge of my heave-offerings, —as to all the hallowed things of the sons of Israel—unto thee, have I given them. as pertaining to the anointing, and unto thy sons. for a statute age-abiding,

௮பின்னும் யெகோவா ஆரோனை நோக்கி: “இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துகிறவைகளிலெல்லாம் எனக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கப்படும் படைப்புகளைக் காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்களே, அவைகளை உனக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; அபிஷேகத்தினால் அவைகளை உனக்கும் உன் மகன்களுக்கும் நிரந்தர கட்டளையாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

9 This, shall be thine, out of the things most holy, out of the fire, —their every oblation—to the extent of their every meal-offering, and their every sin-bearer, and their every guilt-bearer wherewith they make amends unto me, most holy unto thee, shall it be and unto thy sons.

௯மகா பரிசுத்தமானவைகளிலே, அக்கினிக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படாமல் உன்னுடையதாக இருப்பது எவையெனில், அவர்கள் எனக்குப் படைக்கும் எல்லாப் படைப்பும், எல்லா உணவுபலியும், எல்லாப் பாவநிவாரணபலியும், எல்லாக் குற்றநிவாரணபலியும், உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கும்.

10 As something most holy, shall ye eat it, —every male, shall eat it, holy, shall it be unto thee.

௧0பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே அவைகளைச் சாப்பிடவேண்டும்; ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரும் அவைகளைச் சாப்பிடலாம்; அவைகள் உனக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாக இருப்பதாக.

11 This, therefore, shall be thine—the heave-offering of their gift even all the wave-offerings of the sons of Israel, unto thee, have I given them and unto thy sons and unto thy daughters with thee by a statute age-abiding, —every one that is clean in thy house, shall eat it.

௧௧இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கிறதும் அசைவாட்டுகிறதுமான அவர்களுடைய எல்லாக் காணிக்கைகளின் படைப்பும் உன்னுடையவைகளாக இருக்கும்; அவைகளை உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகள்களுக்கும் நிரந்தர பங்காகக் கொடுத்தேன்; உன்னுடைய வீட்டிலே சுத்தமானவர்கள் எல்லோரும் அவைகளைச் சாப்பிடலாம்.

12 All the best of oil, and all the best of new-wine and corn, —the firstfruits thereof which they shall give unto Yahweh, unto thee, have I given them.

௧௨அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் அவர்களுடைய முதற்பலன்களாகிய சிறந்த எண்ணெயையும், சிறந்த திராட்சைரசத்தையும், தானியத்தையும் உனக்கு உரியதாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

13 The firstfruits of all that is in their land which they shall bring in unto Yahweh, thine, shall it be, —every one that is clean in thy house, shall eat it:

௧௩தங்களுடைய தேசத்தில் முதற் பழுத்த பலனில் அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குக் கொண்டு வருவதெல்லாம் உனக்கு உரியதாகும்; உன்னுடைய வீட்டிலே சுத்தமாக இருப்பவர்கள் யாவரும் அவைகளைச் சாப்பிடலாம்.

14 every devoted thing in Israel, thine, shall it be:

௧௪இஸ்ரவேலிலே சாபத்தீடாக நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டதெல்லாம் உனக்கு உரியதாக இருக்கும்.

15 every thing that is born first of all flesh that may be offered unto Yahweh among men and among beasts, shall be thine, —only thou shalt, redeem, the firstborn of men, and the firstborn of unclean beasts, shalt thou redeem.

௧௫மனிதரிலும் மிருகங்களிலும் அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குச் செலுத்தும் எல்லா மிருகங்களுக்குள்ளே கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கும் யாவும் உனக்கு உரியதாக இருக்கும்; ஆனாலும் மனிதரின் முதற்பேற்றை கொல்லப்படாத நியமத்தின்படி மீட்கவேண்டும்; தீட்டான மிருகஜீவனின் தலையீற்றையும் மீட்கவேண்டும்.

16 And, as to the redemption price thereof, from a month old, shalt thou redeem, by thine estimate five shekels of silver by the shekel of the sanctuary, —twenty gerahs, it is.

௧௬மீட்கவேண்டியவைகள் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு மேற்பட்டதானால், உன்னுடைய மதிப்புக்கு இசைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படி ஐந்து சேக்கல் பணத்தாலே அவைகளை மீட்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு சேக்கல் இருபது கேரா.

17 Only a firstling ox or a firstling sheep or a firstling goat, shalt thou not redeem, hallowed, they are, —their blood, shalt thou dash against the altar and of their fat, shalt thou make a perfume, an altar-flame, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh:

௧௭மாட்டின் தலையீற்றும், செம்மறியாட்டின் தலையீற்றும், வெள்ளாட்டின் தலையீற்றுமோ மீட்கப்படவேண்டாம்; அவைகள் பரிசுத்தமானவைகள்; அவைகளின் இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தெளித்து, அவைகளின் கொழுப்பைக் யெகோவாவுக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனமாகத் தகனிக்கவேண்டும்.

18 and their flesh, shall be thine, —as the wave-breast and as the right leg, thine, shall it be:

௧௮அசைவாட்டும் மார்புப்பகுதியைப்போலவும் வலது முன்னந்தொடையைப்போலவும் அவைகளின் இறைச்சியும் உன்னுடையதாகும்.

19 all the heave-offerings of the holy things which the sons of Israel shall heave up unto Yahweh, have I given unto thee and unto thy sons and unto thy daughters with thee by a statute age-abiding, —an age-abiding covenant of salt, it is before Yahweh, for thee and for thy seed with thee.

௧௯இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கிற பரிசுத்த படைப்புகளையெல்லாம் உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகள்களுக்கும் நிரந்தர கட்டளையாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் இது உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் என்றைக்கும் செல்லும் மாறாத உடன்படிக்கை” என்றார்.

20 Then said Yahweh unto Aaron: In their land, thou shalt have no inheritance, and no allotted portion, shalt thou have in their midst, —I, am thine allotted portion and thine inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel.

௨0பின்னும் யெகோவா ஆரோனை நோக்கி: “அவர்களுடைய தேசத்தில் நீ ஒன்றையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டாம், அவர்கள் நடுவே உனக்குப் பங்கு உண்டாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் நடுவில் நானே உன்னுடைய பங்கும் உன்னுடைய சுதந்தரமுமாக இருக்கிறேன்.

21 And unto the sons of Levi, lo! I have given all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, —the allotted portion for their laborious work which, they are performing, the laborious work of the tent of meeting:

௨௧“இதோ, லேவியின் சந்ததி ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடையைச் செய்கிற அவர்களுடைய வேலைக்காக, இஸ்ரவேலருக்குள்ளவை எல்லாவற்றிலும் தசமபாகத்தை அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

22 that the sons of Israel come near no more, unto the tent of meeting, —to bear sin, to die.

௨௨இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் குற்றஞ்சுமந்து சாகாதபடி, இனி ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தைக் அருகில் வராமலிருக்க வேண்டும்.

23 So shall the Levites themselves perform the laborious work of the tent of meeting, and, they, shall bear their iniquity, a statute age-abiding, unto your generations, and in the midst of the sons of Israel, shall they take no inheritance.

௨௩லேவியர்கள் மட்டும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தைச்சேர்ந்த வேலைகளைச் செய்யவேண்டும்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரம் இல்லை என்பது உங்களுடைய தலைமுறைதோறும் நிரந்தர கட்டளையாக இருக்கும்.

24 Because the tenth of the sons of Israel which they shall offer up unto Yahweh as a heave-offering, have I given unto the Levites as an inheritance, —for this cause, said I regarding them, In the midst of the sons of Israel, shall they take no inheritance.

௨௪இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் படைப்பாகிய தசமபாகத்தை லேவியர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமில்லையென்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன்” என்றார்.

25 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

௨௫பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

26 Unto the Levites, therefore shalt thou speak and shalt say unto them, When ye shall take of the sons of Israel the tenth which I have given unto you from them as your inheritance, then shall ye offer up therefrom the heave-offering of Yahweh, a tenth of the tenth.

௨௬“நீ லேவியரோடு சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கையில் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்படி நான் உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்த தசமபாகத்தை நீங்கள் அவர்கள் கையில் வாங்கும்போது. தசமபாகத்தில் பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கும் படைப்பாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

27 So shall your heave-offering be reckoned your own, —as corn out of the threshing-floor, and as the abundance out of the wine-press.

௨௭நீங்கள் ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் இந்தப் படைப்பு களத்தின் தானியத்தைப்போலும், ஆலையின் இரசத்தைப்போலும் உங்களுக்கு எண்ணப்படும்.

28 Thus, shall ye also, offer up the heave-offering of Yahweh, out of all your tenths which ye shall take from the sons of Israel, —and give therefrom the heave-offering of Yahweh, unto Aaron the priest.

௨௮இப்படியே நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கையில் வாங்கும் தசமபாகமாகிய உங்களுடைய பங்குகளிலெல்லாம் நீங்களும் யெகோவாவுக்கு என்று ஒரு படைப்பை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைத்து, அந்தப் படைப்பை ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

29 Out of all your gifts, shall ye offer up every heave-offering of Yahweh, —out of all the best thereof, the hallowed pert thereof out of it.

௨௯உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிற ஒவ்வொரு காணிக்கையிலுமுள்ள சிறந்த பரிசுத்த பங்கையெல்லாம் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் படைப்பாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

30 And thou shalt say unto them, —When ye offer the best thereof out of it, then shall it be reckoned to belong unto the Levites, as the increase of the threshing-floor and as the increase of the wine-press,

௩0ஆதலால் நீ அவர்களோடு சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அதில் சிறந்ததை நீங்கள் ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும்போது, அது களத்தின் வரத்திலும் ஆலையின் வரத்திலும் இருந்து எடுத்துச்செலுத்துகிறதுபோல லேவியர்களுக்கு எண்ணப்படும்.

31 And ye shall eat it in any place, ye, and your household, —for a reward, it is unto you, the allotted portion for your laborious work in the tent of meeting.

௩௧அதை நீங்களும் உங்கள் குடும்பத்தாரும் எவ்விடத்திலும் சாப்பிடலாம்; அது நீங்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே செய்யும் பணிவிடைக்கு ஈடான உங்கள் சம்பளம்.

32 And ye shall not by reason of it bear sin, when ye offer up the best thereof, out of it; and the hallowed things of the sons of Israel, shall ye not profane neither shall ye die.

௩௨இப்படி அதில் சிறந்ததை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைத்தீர்களானால், நீங்கள் அதற்காக பாவம் சுமக்கமாட்டீர்கள்; நீங்கள் சாகாதிருக்கும்படி, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தக்கூடாது என்று சொல்” என்றார்.
