Numbers 17
1 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel and take of them one staff each for an ancestral house of all their princes, by their ancestral houses, twelve staves, —each man’s name, shalt thou write upon his staff;
Reer binu Israa'iil la hadal, oo iyaga ulo ka qaad. Qabiil kastaba ul ka qaad; amiirradooda oo dhan sida ay qabiilooyinkoodu kala yihiin laba iyo toban ulood ka kala qaad. Oo nin walba magiciisa ushiisa ku qor.
3 and, Aaron’s name, shalt thou write upon the staff of Levi, —for, one staff, shall there be for the head of their ancestral house.
Usha reer Laawi waxaad ku qortaa magaca Haaruun. Qabiilooyinkooda madaxdooda mid kastaaba waa inuu ul lahaadaa.
4 Then shalt thou lay them up in the tent of meeting, —before the testimony, where I meet with you.
Oo waa inaad iyaga hor dhigtaa maragga teendhada shirka ku yaal, taasoo ah meesha aan idinkula kulmo.
5 So shall it come to pass, that, the man whom I shall choose, his staff, shall bud, —so will I cause to cease from against me the murmurings of the sons of Israel, wherewith they, are murmuring against you.
Oo markaas ninkii aan doorto ushiisu way magooli doontaa, oo anna hortayda waan ka joojin doonaa gunuuska ay reer binu Israa'iil adiga kuu gunuusaan.
6 And Moses spake unto the sons of Israel and every one of their princes gave unto him, a staff apiece, for each prince, by their ancestral houses, twelve staves, —and the staff of Aaron, was in the midst of their staves.
Markaasaa Muuse reer binu Israa'iil la hadlay, oo amiirradoodii oo dhammu waxay isagii siiyeen ulo, oo amiir kastaaba mid buu siiyey siday qabiilooyinkoodu ahaayeen, intaasu waxay ahayd laba iyo toban ulood; oo ushii Haaruunna ulahooday ku dhex jirtay.
7 So Moses laid up the staves before Yahweh, —in the tent of the testimony.
Markaasaa Muuse ulihii dhigay Rabbiga hortiisa teendhadii maragga gudaheeda.
8 And it came to pass, on the morrow, that Moses entered into the tent of the testimony; and lo! the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi, had budded, —yea it had brought forth buds and bloomed blossoms, and borne ripe almonds.
Maalintii dambe waxaa noqotay in Muuse galay teendhadii maragga, oo bal eeg, wuxuu arkay ushii Haaruun oo reer Laawi oo magooshay; way magooshay, wayna ubxisay, oo waxay dhashay yicib bisil.
9 So then Moses brought forth all the staves, from before Yahweh, unto all the sons of Israel, —and they saw and took, each man his own staff.
Markaasaa Muuse ulihii ka soo qaaday Rabbiga hortiisa oo wuxuu u keenay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, oo way fiiriyeen oo nin waluba ushiisii buu qaatay.
10 And Yahweh said unto Moses—Put back the rod of Aaron, before the testimony, to be kept as a sign unto such as are perverse, —that thou mayest bring to an end their murmurings against me that they die not.
Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse ku yidhi, Usha Haaruun dib ugu celi maragga hortiisa in iyada loo haysto calaamo ka gees ah dadka caasiya, inaad iga joojisid gunuuskooda ay ii gunuusaan, yaanay iyagu dhimane.
11 Thus did Moses, —as Yahweh commanded him, so, did he.
Oo sidaasaa Muuse yeelay. Sidii Rabbigu isaga ugu amray ayuu u sameeyey.
12 Then spake the sons of Israel unto Moses saying: Lo! we have breathed our last—we are lost, we are, all, lost:
Markaasay reer binu Israa'iil Muuse la hadleen, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, War bal eeg, waannu baabba'aynaa, oo waannu halligmaynaa, kulligayo waannu wada halligmaynaaye.
13 whosoever draweth near—draweth near—unto the habitation of Yahweh, dieth, —are we ever to have made an end of breathing our last?
Mid kasta oo soo dhowaada oo u soo dhowaadaa taambuugga Rabbiga wuu dhiman doonaa. Haddaba kulligayo miyaannu wada baabba'aynaa?
