Numbers 15
1 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
और ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा से कहा,
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shall say unto them, —When ye shall enter into the land of your dwelling-places, which, I, am giving unto you;
“बनी — इस्राईल से कह कि जब तुम अपने रहने के मुल्क में जो मैं तुम को देता हूँ पहुँचो
3 and ye would offer, as an altar-flame unto Yahweh an ascending-offering or a sacrifice, for celebrating a vow or as a freewill-offering, or in your appointed seasons, —by way of offering a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, from the herd or from the flock,
और ख़ुदावन्द के सामने आतिशी क़ुर्बानी, या'नी सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी या ख़ास मिन्नत का ज़बीहा या रज़ा की क़ुर्बानी पेश करो, या अपनी मु'अय्यन 'ईदों में राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू के तौर पर ख़ुदावन्द के सामने गाय बैल या भेड़ बकरी चढ़ाओ।
4 then shall he that bringeth near his oblation bring near unto Yahweh a meal-offering, of fine meal a tenth part [of an ephah] overflowed with the fourth part of a hin of oil;
तो जो शख़्स अपना हदिया लाए, वह ख़ुदावन्द के सामने नज़्र की क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर ऐफ़ा के दस्वें हिस्से के बराबर मैदा जिसमें चौथाई हीन के बराबर तेल मिला हुआ हो,
5 wine also for a drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou offer with the ascending-offering or with the sacrifice, —for each he-lamb.
और तपावन के तौर पर चौथाई हीन के बराबर मय भी लाए; तू अपनी सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी या अपने ज़बीहे के हर बर्रे के साथ इतना ही तैयार किया करना।
6 Or, with a ram, thou shalt offer a meal-offering, of fine meal, two tenths, —overflowed with oil, the third of a hin;
और हर मेंढे के साथ ऐफ़ा के पाँचवे हिस्से के बराबर मैदा, जिसमें तिहाई हीन के बराबर तेल मिला हुआ हो, नज़्र की क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर लाना।
7 wine also, for a drink-offering, the third of a hin, shalt thou bring near as a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.
और तपावन के तौर पर तिहाई हीन के बराबर मय देना, ताकि वह ख़ुदावन्द के सामने राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू ठहरे।
8 And when thou wouldest offer a choice young bullock as an ascending-offering or sacrifice, —for celebrating a vow or as a peace-offering unto Yahweh,
और जब तू ख़ुदावन्द के सामने सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी या ख़ास मिन्नत के ज़बीहे या सलामती के ज़बीहे के तौर पर बछड़ा पेश करे,
9 then shall he bring near with his choice young bullock, a meal-offering, of fine meal three tenths, —overflowed with half a hin of oil;
तो वह उस बछड़े के साथ नज़्र की क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर ऐफ़ा के तीन दहाई हिस्से के बराबर मैदा, जिसमें आधे हीन के बराबर तेल मिला हुआ हो चढ़ाए।
10 wine also, shalt thou bring near for a drink-offering, half a hin, —for an altar-flame of satisfying odour unto Yahweh.
और तू तपावन के तौर पर आधे हीन के बराबर मय पेश करना, ताकि वह ख़ुदावन्द के सामने राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू की आतिशी क़ुर्बानी ठहरे।
11 Thus and thus, shall it be done, for each ox, and for each ram, —and for each young one among the sheep, or among the goats:
“हर बछड़े, और हर मेंढे, और हर नर बर्रे या बकरी के बच्चे के लिए ऐसा ही किया जाए।
12 according to the number which ye shall offer, thus and thus, shall ye do for each one according to their number.
तुम जितने जानवर लाओ, उनके शुमार के मुताबिक़ एक — एक के साथ ऐसा ही करना।
13 Every one born in the land, thus and thus, shall offer these things, —when bringing near an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.
जितने देसी ख़ुदावन्द के सामने राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू की आतिशी क़ुर्बानी पेश करें वह उस वक़्त यह सब काम इसी तरीक़े से करें।
14 And when there shall sojourn with you a sojourner, or one who is in your midst to your generations, and he would offer an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, as ye offer, so, shall he offer,
और अगर कोई परदेसी तुम्हारे साथ क़याम करता हो या जो कोई नसलों से तुम्हारे साथ रहता आया हो, और वह ख़ुदावन्द के सामने राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू की आतिशीन क़ुर्बानी पेश करना चाहे तो जैसा तुम करते हो वह भी वैसा ही करे।
15 In the convocation, one statute, shall there be for you and for the sojourner who sojourneth, —an age-abiding statute unto your generations, as ye are, so, the sojourner, shall be before Yahweh:
मजमे' के लिए, या'नी तुम्हारे लिए और उस परदेसी के लिए जो तुम में रहता हो नसल — दर — नसल हमेशा एक ही क़ानून रहेगा; ख़ुदावन्द के आगे परदेसी भी वैसे ही हों जैसे तुम हो।
16 one law and one regulation, shall there be for yourselves and for the sojourner that sojourneth with you.
तुम्हारे लिए और परदेसियों के लिए जो तुम्हारे साथ रहते हैं एक ही शरी'अत और एक ही क़ानून हो।”
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
और ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा से कहा कि;
18 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye enter into the land whereinto I, am bringing you,
“बनी — इस्राईल से कह, जब तुम उस मुल्क में पहुँचो, जहाँ मैं तुम को लिए जाता हूँ,
19 then shall it be, when ye eat the bread of the land, that ye shall heave up a heave-offering unto Yahweh.
और उस मुल्क की रोटी खाओ तो ख़ुदावन्द के सामने उठाने की क़ुर्बानी पेश करना।
20 Of the first of your meal, shall ye heave up, a cake, as a heave-offering, —like the heave-offering of grain, so shall ye heave it.
तुम अपने पहले गूँधे हुए आटे का एक गिर्दा उठाने की क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर अदा करना, जैसे खलीहान की उठाने की क़ुर्बानी को लेकर उठाते हो वैसे ही इसे भी उठाना।
21 Of the first of your meal, shall ye give unto Yahweh a heave-offering, —unto your generations.
तुम अपनी नसल — दर — नसल अपने पहले ही गूँधे हुए आटे में से कुछ लेकर उसे ख़ुदावन्द के सामने उठाने की क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर पेश करना।
22 And when ye shall make a mistake, and not observe all these commandments, —which Yahweh hath spoken unto Moses;
“और अगर तुम से भूल हो जाए और तुमने उन सब हुक्मों पर जो ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा को दिए 'अमल न किया हो,
23 even all that Yahweh hath given unto you in command, by the hand of Moses, —from the day that Yahweh gave command, and onward unto your generations,
या'नी जिस दिन से ख़ुदावन्द ने हुक्म देना शुरू' किया उस दिन से लेकर आगे — आगे, जो कुछ हुक्म ख़ुदावन्द ने तुम्हारी नसल — दर — नसल मूसा के ज़रिए' तुम को दिया है,
24 then shall it be—if, any from the eyes of the assembly, it hath been done by mistake, that all the assembly shall offer one choice young bullock for an ascending-sacrifice as a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, with the meal-offering thereof and the drink-offering thereof, according to the regulation, —and one young he-goat as a sin-bearer.
उसमें अगर अनजाने में कोई ख़ता हो गई हो और जमा'अत उससे वाक़िफ़ न हो तो सारी जमा'अत एक बछड़ा सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के लिए पेश करे, ताकि वह ख़ुदावन्द के सामने राहतअंगेज़ ख़ुशबू हो, और उसके साथ शरा' के मुताबिक़ उसकी नज़्र की क़ुर्बानी और उसका तपावन भी चढ़ाए, और ख़ता की क़ुर्बानी के लिए एक बकरा पेश करे।
25 So shall the priest put a propitiatory, covering over all the assembly of the sons of Israel and pardon shall be granted unto them, —because a mistake, it was, they, therefore have brought in their offering—an altar-flame unto Yahweh and their sin-bearer before Yahweh for their mistake:
यूँ काहिन बनी — इस्राईल की सारी जमा'अत के लिए कफ़्फ़ारा दे तो उनकी मु'आफ़ी मिलेगी, क्यूँकि यह महज़ भूल थी और उन्होंने उस भूल के बदले वह क़ुर्बानी भी चढ़ाई जो ख़ुदावन्द के सामने आतिशी क़ुर्बानी ठहरती है, और ख़ता की क़ुर्बानी भी ख़ुदावन्द के सामने पेश कीं।
26 and pardon shall be granted unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel and unto the sojourner that sojourneth in their midst, —for, in the case of all the people, it was, by mistake.
तब बनी — इस्राईल की सारी जमा'अत को और उन परदेसियों को भी जो उनमें रहते हैं मु'आफ़ी मिलेगी, क्यूँकि जमा'अत के ऐतबार से यह अनजाने में हुआ।
27 And if, any one person, shall sin by mistake, then shall he bring near a she-goat of the first year as a sin-bearer;
और अगर एक ही शख़्स अनजाने में ख़ता करे तो वह यक — साला बकरी ख़ता की क़ुर्बानी के लिए चढ़ाए।”
28 and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over the person who hath made the mistake, when he hath sinned by mistake before Yahweh, even put a propitiatory-covering over him, and pardon shall be granted him.
यूँ काहिन उस शख़्स की तरफ़ से जिसने अनजाने में ख़ता की, उसकी ख़ता के लिए ख़ुदावन्द के सामने कफ़्फ़ारा दे तो उसे मु'आफ़ी मिलेगी।
29 For the native born among the sons of Israel, and for the sojourner that sojourneth in their midst, one law, shall there be unto you—for acting by mistake.
जिस शख़्स ने अनजाने में ख़ता की हो, उसके लिए तुम एक ही शरा' रखना चाहे वह बनी — इस्राईल में से देसी हो या परदेसी जो उनमें रहता हो।
30 But, as for the person who acteth with a high hand—of the native born or of the sojourners, Yahweh himself, he, reproacheth, —therefore shall that person be cut off out of the midst of his people.
लेकिन जो शख़्स बेख़ौफ़ हो कर गुनाह करे, चाहे वह देसी हो या परदेसी, वह ख़ुदावन्द की बे'इज़्ज़ती करता है; वह शख़्स अपने लोगों में से अलग किया जाएगा।
31 Because the word of Yahweh, hath he despised, and his commandment, hath he broken, that person shall be surely cut off, his iniquity, is in himself.
क्यूँकि उसने ख़ुदावन्द के कलाम की हिक़ारत की और उसके हुक्म को तोड़ डाला, वह शख़्स बिल्कुल अलग कर दिया जाएगा, उसका गुनाह उसी के सिर लगेगा।”
32 While the sons of Israel were in the desert, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.
और जब बनी — इस्राईल वीरान में रहते थे, उन दिनों एक आदमी उनको सबत के दिन लकड़ियाँ जमा' करता हुआ मिला।
33 And they who found him gathering sticks, brought him near, unto Moses and unto Aaron and unto all the assembly.
और जिनकी वह लकड़ियाँ जमा' करता हुआ मिला वह उसे मूसा और हारून और सारी जमा'अत के पास ले गए।
34 And they put him in ward, —because it was not clear what they should do unto him.
उन्होंने उसे हवालात में रख्खा, क्यूँकि उनको यह नहीं बताया गया था कि उसके साथ क्या करना चाहिए
35 Then said Yahweh unto Moses, The man shall be, put to death, —all the assembly, stoning him with stones, outside the camp.
तब ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा से कहा, “यह शख़्स ज़रूर जान से मारा जाए; सारी जमा'अत लश्करगाह के बाहर उसे पथराव करे।”
36 So then all the assembly, put him forth, outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, —As Yahweh commanded Moses.
चुनाँचे जैसा ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा को हुक्म दिया था, उसके मुताबिक़ सारी जमा'अत ने उसे लश्करगाह के बाहर ले जाकर पथराव किया और वह मर गया।
37 And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying:
और ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा से कहा,
38 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, That they shall make them fringes on the corners of their garments unto their generations—and shall put upon the fringe of the corner a cord of blue:
“बनी — इस्राईल से कह कि वह नसल — दर — नसल अपने लिबासों के किनारों पर झालर लगाएँ, और हर किनारे की झालर के ऊपर आसमानी रंग का डोरा टाँके।
39 so shall they serve you as fringes, and when ye see then, then shall ye call to mind all the commandments of Yahweh, and shall do them, —and shall not spy out, after your own hearts, and after your own eyes for things, after which, ye, are ready to go unchastely away:
यह झालर तुम्हारे लिए ऐसी हो कि जब तुम उसे देखो तो ख़ुदावन्द के सारे हुक्मों को याद करके उन पर 'अमल करो और अपने दिल और आँखों की ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी में ज़िनाकारी न करते फिरो जैसा करते आए हो;
40 to the intent ye may call to mind, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
बल्कि मेरे सब हुक्मों को याद करके उनको 'अमल में लाओ और अपने ख़ुदा के लिए पाक हो।
41 I—Yahweh, am your God—who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to become your God, —I, —Yahweh, am your God.
मैं ख़ुदावन्द तुम्हारा ख़ुदा हूँ, जो तुम को मुल्क — ए — मिस्र से निकाल कर लाया ताकि तुम्हारा ख़ुदा ठहरूँ। मैं ख़ुदावन्द तुम्हारा ख़ुदा हूँ।”
