Numbers 12
1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, on account of the Cushite woman whom he had taken, —for, a Cushite woman, had he taken.
मोशाले विवाह गरेका कूशी महिलाको कारण हारून र मिरियम मोशाको विरुद्धमा बोले ।
2 And they said: Is it only and solely with Moses, that Yahweh hath spoken? With us also, hath he not spoken? And Yahweh heard it.
तिनीहरूले भने, “के परमप्रभु मोशासँग मात्र बोल्नुभएको छ र? के उहाँ हामीसँगचाहिँ बोल्नुभएको छैन र?” तिनीहरूले भनेका कुरा परमप्रभुले सुन्नुभयो ।
3 Now, the man Moses, was patient, exceedingly, —above all the sons of earth, who were on the face of the ground.
मोशा साह्रै नम्र मानिस थिए, तिनी संसारका सबैभन्दा नम्र थिए ।
4 Then said Yahweh suddenly, unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tent of meeting. And they three went out.
त्यसै बेला परमप्रभु मोशा, हारून र मिरियमसित बोल्नुभयो, “तिमीहरू तिनै जना भेट हुने पालमा आओ ।” त्यसैले तिनै जना बाहिर आए ।
5 Then Yahweh came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the entrance of the tent, —and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both went forth.
अनि परमप्रभु बादलको खामोमा ओर्लेर आउनुभयो । उहाँ पालको प्रवेश-द्वारमा खडा हुनुभयो अनि हारून र मिरियमलाई बोलाउनुभयो । तिनीहरू दुवै अगि आए ।
6 Then said he Hear, I beseech you my words. When ye have your prophet, As Yahweh in a vision, will I make myself known, unto him; In a dream, will I speak with him.
परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “मेरो वचन सुन । मेरो अगमवक्ता तिमीहरूसँग हुँदा म आफैलाई त्यससँग दर्शनमा प्रकट गर्नेछु र त्यससँग सपनामा कुरा गर्छु ।
7 Not so, my servant Moses, —In all my house, trusty, is he:
मेरो दास मोशा त्यस्तो होइन । त्यो मेरा सबै घरानामा विश्वासयोग्य छ ।
8 Mouth to mouth, do I speak with him And plainly—not in dark sayings, And the form of Yahweh, doth he discern, —Wherefore then, were ye not afraid to speak against my servant—against Moses?
म मोशासँग दर्शन वा अड्कोमा होइन प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा बोल्छु । त्यसले मेरो रूप देख्छ । यसैले तिमीहरूलाई मेरो दास मोशा विरुद्ध बोल्न किन डर लागेन?”
9 And the anger of Yahweh kindled upon them and he departed.
परमप्रभुको क्रोध तिनीहरू विरुद्ध दन्कियो, र उहाँ तिनीहरूबाट जानुभयो ।
10 And, when, the cloud, removed from off the tent, —lo! Miriam, leprous, like snow! And Aaron turned unto Miriam and lo! …leprous!
बादल पालमाथिबाट हट्यो र मिरियम अचानक कुष्ठरोगी भइन् । तिनी हिउँजस्तै सेतो भइन् । हारून मिरियमतिर फर्कंदा तिनले तिनलाई कुष्ठ रोग लागेको देखे ।
11 Then said Aaron unto Moses, —Oh my lord, do not I beseech thee lay upon us sin, although we have made ourselves foolish, and although we have sinned.
हारूनले मोशालाई भने, “हे मेरा मालिक, बिन्ती छ यो पाप हाम्रो विरुद्ध नलिनुहोस् । हामीले मूर्खतापूर्वक बोलेका छौँ र हामीले पाप गरेका छौँ ।
12 Let her not, I beseech thee, remain like the still-born, —which when it is born of its mother, the half of its flesh is consumed.
बिन्ती छ, तिनी आफ्नो आमाको गर्भबाट निस्कँदा नै आधा मासु कुहेको मृत जन्मेकोजस्तो नहोऊन् ।”
13 Then Moses made outcry unto Yahweh, saying, —O GOD, I beseech thee grant healing. I beseech thee unto her.
यसैले मोशाले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारे, “हे परमेश्वर, बिन्ती छ, उनलाई निको पारिदिनुहोस् ।”
14 And Yahweh said unto Moses: If, her own father, had, but spat, in her face, would she not, have acknowledged the shame for seven days? Let her shut herself up for seven days, outside the camp, and afterwards, let her be received back.
परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “यदि त्यसको बुबाले त्यसलाई अनुहारमा थुकेको भए, त्यो सात दिनसम्म अपमानित हुन्थ्यो । त्यसलाई छाउनी बाहिर लगेर थुन् । त्यसपछि त्यसलाई फेरि ले ।”
15 So Miriam shut herself up, outside the camp, for seven days, —and, the people, set not forward, until Miriam had been received back.
यसैले मिरियमलाई छाउनीबाहिर सात दिनसम्म थुनियो । तिनी छाउनीमा नफर्केसम्म मानिसहरूले यात्रा गरेनन् ।
16 Then afterwards, did the people set forward from Hazeroth, and encamped in the desert of Paran.
त्यसपछि, मानिसहरू हसेरोतबाट यात्रा गरेर पारानको मरुभूमिमा छाउनी लगाए ।
