< Numbers 10 >
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Mukama n’agamba Musa nti,
2 Make thee two trumpets of silver, of beaten work, shalt thou make them, —and they shall be unto thee for calling the assembly, and for setting forward the camps.
“Weesa mu ffeeza amakondeere abiri ogakozesenga okuyitanga abantu bonna okukuŋŋaana, era n’okubalagira okuggyawo ensiisira zaabwe.
3 As soon as they blow therewith, so soon shall all the assembly assemble themselves unto thee, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting.
Amakondeere gombi bwe ganaafuuyibwanga, ekibiina ky’abantu bonna banaakuŋŋaaniranga w’oli ku mulyango gwa Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu.
4 And, if, only once, they blow, then shall the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, gather themselves unto thee.
Naye bwe banaafuuwangako erimu, olwo abakulembeze, be bakulu b’ebika bya Isirayiri, be banaakuŋŋaaniranga w’oli.
5 But when ye blow an alarm, then shall set forward the camps that are encamped eastwards;
Amakondeere ag’omwanguka bwe ganaafuuyibwanga, ebika ebinaabanga bisiisidde ku luuyi olw’ebuvanjuba binaasitulanga okutambula.
6 and when ye blow a second alarm, then shall set forward the camps that are encamped southwards, —an alarm, shall they blow for setting them forward,
Ate bwe banaafuuwanga ag’omwanguka omulundi ogwokubiri, ensiisira ezinaabanga mu bukiikaddyo, zinaasitulanga okutambula. Amakondeere ag’omwanguka ke kanaabanga akabonero akanaabategeezanga nti basitule batambule.
7 But in calling together the convocation, ye shall blow but shall not sound an alarm.
Naye bwe kineetaagisanga okukuba olukuŋŋaana, onoofuuwanga amakondeere naye tegaabenga ga mwanguka.
8 And, the sons of Aaron the priests, shall blow with the trumpets, —and it shall be unto you for a statute age-abiding, unto your generations.
“Abaana ba Alooni, bakabona, be banaafuuwanga amakondeere. Lino linaabanga tteeka ery’enkalakkalira mu mmwe ne mu mirembe egigenda okujja.
9 And when ye go into war in your land against the assailant that assaileth you, then shall ye blow an alarm with the trumpets, —and bring yourselves to mind before Yahweh your God, and be saved, from your enemies,
Bwe munaagendanga okutabaala omulabe abajoogerereza mu nsi yammwe, mufuuwanga amakondeere ag’omwanguka. Bwe mutyo munajjukirwanga Mukama Katonda, era anaabawonyanga abalabe bammwe.
10 And in your day of rejoicing and in your appointed seasons and in the beginnings of your months, then shall ye blow with the trumpets, over your ascending-sacrifices, and over your peace-offerings, —so shall they be unto you for a memorial before your God. I—Yahweh, am your God.
Mu biseera eby’essanyu, ne ku mbaga zammwe entongole ne ku mbaga z’omwezi ogwakaboneka, munaafuuwanga amakondeere nga bwe muwaayo ebiweebwayo byammwe ebyokebwa n’ebiweebwayo byammwe olw’emirembe, era binaabanga bijjukizo byammwe awali Katonda wammwe. Nze Mukama Katonda wammwe.”
11 And so it came to pass in the second year, in the second month on the twentieth of the month, that the cloud lifted itself up, from off the habitation of the testimony;
Awo olwatuuka ku lunaku olw’amakumi abiri mu mwezi ogwokubiri mu mwaka ogwokubiri, ekire ne kisitulibwa okuva waggulu wa Weema ey’Endagaano.
12 and the sons of Israel set forward by their removals from the desert of Sinai, and then the cloud abode in the desert of Paran.
Abaana ba Isirayiri ne basitula ne batambula okuva mu Ddungu lya Sinaayi, oluvannyuma ekire ne kiyimirira mu Ddungu lya Palani.
13 Thus then did they set forward for the first time, —at the bidding of Yahweh, by the hand of Moses.
Ogwo gwe gwali omulundi omubereberye okusitula okutambula nga bagendera ku kiragiro kya Mukama Katonda kye yayisa mu Musa.
14 So the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah set forward first, by their hosts, and over his own host, was Nahshon, son of Amminadab;
Olusiisira lw’abaana ba Yuda lwe lwasooka okusitula okutambula, nga bakulemberwa ebendera yaabwe; Nakusoni mutabani wa Amminadaabu nga ye muduumizi waabwe.
15 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Nethanel, son of Zuar;
Nesaneri mutabani wa Zuwaali ye yaduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Isakaali,
16 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Eliab, son of Helon.
ne Eriyaabu mutabani wa Keroni n’aduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Zebbulooni.
17 Then was taken down the habitation, —and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward bearing the habitation.
Eweema ya Mukama n’esimbulwa, batabani ba Gerusoni ne batabani ba Merali abaagyetikkanga ne basitula ne batambula.
18 Then set forward the standard of the camp of Reuben, by their hosts, —and over his own host, Elizur, son of Shedeur;
Ebibinja by’omu lusiisira lwa Lewubeeni bye byaddako okusitula okutambula awamu n’ebendera yaabyo, nga biduumirwa Erizuuli mutabani wa Sedewuli.
19 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai;
Serumiyeeri mutabani wa Zulisadaayi ye yaduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Simyoni,
20 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad, Eliasaph, son of Deuel.
ne Eriyasaafu mutabani wa Deweri n’aduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Gaadi.
21 Then set forward the Kohathites, bearing the sanctuary, —and so the habitation was reared by the time they came in.
Abakokasi ne basitula okutambula nga beetisse ebintu ebitukuvu. Eweema ya Mukama ng’emala kusimbibwa, nabo ne balyoka batuuka.
22 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim by their hosts, —and over his own host, was Elishama son of Ammihud;
Ebibinja by’omu lusiisira lwa Efulayimu bye byaddirira okusitula okutambula awamu n’ebendera yaabyo; Erisaama mutabani wa Ammikudi nga ye muduumizi waabyo.
23 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur;
Gamalyeri mutabani wa Pidazuuli ye yaduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Manase;
24 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, Abidan, son of Gideoni.
ne Abidaani mutabani wa Gidyoni n’aduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Benyamini.
25 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan, bringing up the rear of all the camps, by their hosts, —and over his own host, Ahiezur, son of Ammishaddai;
Ku nkomerero ya byonna, ebibinja by’omu lusiisira lwa Ddaani, nga bye bikuuma emabega, ne bisitula okutambula n’ebendera yaabyo nga bikoobedde ensiisira zonna; Akiyezeeri mutabani wa Amisadaayi nga ye muduumizi waabyo.
26 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher, Pagiel, son of Ochran;
Pagiyeeri mutabani wa Okulaani ye yaduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Aseri;
27 and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, Ahira, son of Enan.
ne Akira mutabani wa Enani n’aduumira ekibinja ky’ekika kya Nafutaali.
28 These, were the settings-forward of the sons of Israel by their hosts, —thus did they set forward.
Eyo ye yali entegeka ey’abaana ba Isirayiri ng’ebibinja byabwe bwe byali nga basitula okutambula.
29 Then said Moses to Hobab, son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses: Setting forward, are we unto the place of which Yahweh hath said, The same, will I give unto you, —Oh come with us and we will do thee good, for, Yahweh, hath spoken good, concerning Israel.
Awo Musa n’agamba mukoddomi we Kobabu mutabani wa Leweri Omumidiyaani nti, “Tusitula okutambula okugenda mu kifo Mukama kye yatugamba nti, ‘Ndikibawa.’ Kale nno, jjangu tugende ffenna tulikuyisa bulungi, kubanga Mukama yasuubiza Isirayiri ebintu ebirungi.”
30 And he said unto him, I will not go, —but unto my own land, and unto my own kindred, will I go.
Naye n’addamu nti, “Nedda, sijja kugenda nammwe, nzirayo mu nsi ye waffe era mu bantu bange.”
31 Then said he: I beseech thee, do not forsake us, —for, on this account, hast thou come to know of our encamping in the desert, so shalt thou be unto us as eyes;
Naye Musa n’amugamba nti, “Nkwegayiridde totuleka. Ggwe omanyi obulungi eddungu gye tusaanye okukuba olusiisira lwaffe, ggwe ojja okubeera amaaso gaffe.
32 and it shall be if thou wilt go with us, —yea it shall be that with the very good wherewith Yahweh shall do us good, will we do good unto thee.
Singa ojja ne tugenda ffenna, tunaagabaniranga wamu buli kirungi kyonna Mukama ky’anaatuwanga.”
33 So then they went forward, from the mountain of Yahweh, a journey of three days, —and the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, was going before them a journey of three days, to search out for them a resting-place,
Awo ne basitula okuva ku lusozi lwa Mukama Katonda ne batambulira ennaku ssatu. Essanduuko ya Mukama ey’Endagaano n’ebakulemberanga okumala ennaku ezo essatu ng’ebanoonyeza ekifo eky’okuwummuliramu.
34 And the cloud of Yahweh, was over them by day, —when they set forward out of the camp.
Buli lwe baasitulanga okutambula nga bava mu lusiisira, ekire kya Mukama Katonda kyabeeranga waggulu waabwe buli budde bwa misana.
35 And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said: Arise, O Yahweh! and scattered be thy foes, Let them that hate thee flee before thee;
Buli abeetissi b’Essanduuko ya Mukama Katonda lwe baasitulanga okutambula, Musa n’agamba nti, “Golokoka, Ayi Mukama! Abalabe bo basaasaane; amaggye agakulwanyisa gakudduke.”
36 But when it rested, he said, —Return, O Yahweh! unto the myriads of the thousands of Israel.
Buli Ssanduuko ya Mukama Katonda lwe yawummuzibwanga, Musa n’agamba nti, “Komawo, Ayi Mukama, eri enkumi n’enkumi eza Isirayiri.”
