And a certain, ruler, questioned him, saying—Good Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit life age-abiding? (aiōnios )
Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
who shall in anywise not receive manifold in this season, and, in the age that is coming, life age-abiding. (aiōn , aiōnios )
will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
And Jesus said unto them—The sons of this age, marry, and are given in marriage, — (aiōn )
Jesus answered, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn )
But, they who have been accounted worthy, that age, to obtain, and the resurrection that is from among the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage; (aiōn )
But those who are considered worthy to share in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. (aiōn )
That, whosoever believeth in him, may have life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. (aiōnios )
For God, so loved, the world, that, his Only Begotten Son, he gave, —that, whosoever believeth on him, might not perish, but have life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
He that believeth on the Son, hath life age-abiding: whereas, he that yieldeth not unto the Son, shall not see life, —but, the anger of God, awaiteth him. (aiōnios )
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” (aiōnios )
But, whosoever shall drink of the water which, I, will give him, in nowise shall thirst, unto times age-abiding, —but, the water which I will give him, shall become, within him, a fountain of water, springing up unto life age-abiding. (aiōn , aiōnios )
But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
he that reapeth, receiveth, a reward, and gathereth fruit unto life age-abiding; that, he that soweth, together may rejoice, with him that reapeth. (aiōnios )
Already the reaper draws his wages and gathers a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
Verily, verily, I say unto you: He that heareth, my word, and believeth in him that sent me, hath life age-abiding, and, into judgment, cometh not, but hath passed over, out of death into life. (aiōnios )
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. (aiōnios )
Ye search the Scriptures, because, ye, think, by them, to have, life age-abiding; and, those [Scriptures], are they which bear witness concerning me: (aiōnios )
You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, (aiōnios )
Be working, not for the food that perisheth, but for the food that endureth unto life age-abiding, —which, the Son of Man, unto you, will give; for upon, the same, hath the Father, even God, set his seal. (aiōnios )
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.” (aiōnios )
For, this, is the will of my Father, That, every one that vieweth the Son, and believeth on him, should have life age-abiding, and, I, should raise him up, at the last day. (aiōnios )
For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios )
Verily, verily, I say unto you: He that believeth, hath life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life. (aiōnios )
I, am the living bread, which, out of heaven, came down: If one eat of this bread, he shall live unto times age-abiding; and, the bread, moreover, which, I, will give, is, my flesh—for the world’s life. (aiōn )
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.” (aiōn )
He that feedeth upon my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath life age-abiding, and, I, will raise him up at the last day; (aiōnios )
Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )
This, is the bread, which, out of heaven, came down: —Not just as your fathers did eat—and died! He that feedeth upon this bread, shall live unto times age-abiding. (aiōn )
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your fathers, who ate the manna and died, the one who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn )
Simon Peter answered him—Lord! unto whom, shall we go? Declarations of life age-abiding, thou hast; (aiōnios )
Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now, the slave, doth not abide in the house, evermore. The Son, abideth, evermore. (aiōn )
A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son belongs to it forever. (aiōn )
Verily, verily, I say unto you: If anyone shall keep, my word, death, shall he not see, unto times age-abiding. (aiōn )
Truly, truly, I tell you, if anyone keeps My word, he will never see death.” (aiōn )
The Jews said unto him—Now, we know that, a demon, thou hast: —Abraham, died, and, the prophets, and yet, thou, sayest: If anyone shall keep, my word, in nowise shall he taste of death, unto times age-abiding. (aiōn )
“Now we know that You have a demon!” declared the Jews. “Abraham died, and so did the prophets, yet You say that anyone who keeps Your word will never taste death. (aiōn )
Out of age-past time, hath it never been heard, that anyone opened the eyes of one who, blind, had been born. (aiōn )
Never before has anyone heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. (aiōn )
And, I, give unto them life age-abiding, and in nowise shall they perish, unto times age-abiding; and no one shall carry them off out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
And, no one who liveth again and believeth on me, shall in anywise die, unto times age-abiding. Believest thou this? (aiōn )
And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )
He that loveth his life, loseth it; but, he that hateth his life, in this world, unto life age-abiding, shall guard it. (aiōnios )
Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (aiōnios )
The multitude, therefore, answered him—We, have heard, out of the law, that, the Christ, abideth evermore; How then dost, thou, say, —It behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man? (aiōn )
The crowd replied, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever. So how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn )
And I know that, his commandment, is, life age-abiding; The things, therefore, which I speak, just as the Father hath told me, so, I speak. (aiōnios )
And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.” (aiōnios )
Peter saith unto him—In nowise shalt thou, ever, wash my feet. Jesus answered him—If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn )
“Never shall You wash my feet!” Peter told Him. Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.” (aiōn )
And, I, will request the Father, and, Another Advocate, will he give unto you, that he may be with you age-abidingly, (aiōn )
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— (aiōn )
Even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that, as touching whatsoever thou hast given him, he might give unto them, life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. (aiōnios )
And, this, is the age-abiding life, That they get to know thee, the only real God, and him whom thou didst send, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. (aiōnios )
Because thou wilt not abandon my soul unto hades, neither wilt thou give thy man of lovingkindness to see corruption; (Hadēs )
because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay. (Hadēs )
With foresight, spake he concerning the resurrection of the Christ—that neither was he abandoned unto hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay. (Hadēs )
Unto whom, indeed, heaven must needs give welcome, until the times of the due establishment of all things, of which God hath spoken through the mouth of his holy age-past prophets. (aiōn )
Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets. (aiōn )
And Paul and Barnabas, speaking boldly, said—Unto you, was it necessary, that the word of God should first be spoken: seeing ye are thrusting it from you, and, unworthy, are judging yourselves of the age-abiding life, lo! we turn unto the nations; (aiōnios )
Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. But since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )
And they of the nations, hearing [this], began to rejoice, and to be glorifying God, and they believed—as many as had become disposed for life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. (aiōnios )
Known from age-past times. (aiōn )
that have been known for ages.’ (aiōn )
For, the unseen things of him, from a world’s creation, by the things made, being perceived, are clearly seen, even his eternal power and divinity, —to the end they should be without excuse; (aïdios )
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse. (aïdios )
Who, indeed, exchanged away the truth of God for the falsehood, and rendered worship and service unto the creature rather than unto the Creator, —who is blessed unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn )
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is forever worthy of praise! Amen. (aiōn )
Unto them, on the one hand, who, by way of endurance in good work, are seeking, glory, honour and incorruption, life age-abiding, (aiōnios )
To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. (aiōnios )
In order that—just as sin reigned in death, so, also, favour, might reign through righteousness unto life age-abiding, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
Whereas, now, having been freed from sin, and made servants unto God, ye have your fruit for sanctification and, the end, life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. (aiōnios )
For, the wages of sin, is death; but, God’s gift of favour, is life age-abiding, in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
Whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ—according to the flesh—he who is over all, God, blessed unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen. (aiōn )
Or, Who shall descend into the abyss? That is, to bring up, Christ, from among the dead; (Abyssos )
or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” (Abyssos )
For God hath shut up all together, in a refusal to yield, in order that, upon all, he may bestow mercy. (eleēsē )
For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone. (eleēsē )
Because, of him, and through him, and unto him, are all things: —unto him, be the glory, unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn )
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. (aiōn )
And be not configuring yourselves unto this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end ye may be proving what is the thing willed by God—the good and acceptable and perfect. (aiōn )
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
Now, unto him who hath power to establish you, according to my glad-message—even the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of a sacred secret, in age-past times kept silent, (aiōnios )
Now to Him who is able to strengthen you by my gospel and by the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery concealed for ages past (aiōnios )
But now made manifest, and through means of prophetic scriptures, according to the command of the age-abiding God, for obedience of faith unto all the nations made known, (aiōnios )
but now revealed and made known through the writings of the prophets by the command of the eternal God, in order to lead all nations to the obedience that comes from faith — (aiōnios )
Unto a God, wise alone, through Jesus Christ, [unto whom] be the glory, unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. (aiōn )
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
Wisdom, however, we do speak, among the full-grown, —wisdom, indeed, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are to come to nought; (aiōn )
Among the mature, however, we speak a message of wisdom—but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. (aiōn )
But we speak, God’s, wisdom, in a sacred secret, that hidden [wisdom], which God marked out beforehand, before the ages, for our glory, — (aiōn )
No, we speak of the mysterious and hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. (aiōn )
Which, none of the rulers of this age had come to know, for, had they known, not, in that case, the Lord of the glory, would they have crucified! (aiōn )
None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
Let no one be deceiving himself: —if anyone imagineth himself to be wise among you, in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become wise; (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. (aiōn )
Therefore, if food is an occasion of stumbling unto my brother, in nowise will I eat flesh unto the age that abideth, —that, I may not occasion, my brother, to stumble. (aiōn )
Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause him to stumble. (aiōn )
But, these things, by way of type, were happening unto them, and were written with a view to our admonition, unto whom, the ends of the ages, have reached along. (aiōn )
Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. (aiōn )
Where, O death, is thy victory? Where, O death, is thy sting? (Hadēs )
“Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” (Hadēs )
In whom, the god of this age, hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to the end they may not discern the radiance of the glad-message of the glory of the Christ—who is the image of God. (aiōn )
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )
For, the momentary lightness of the tribulation, in a manner yet more and more excelling, is working out for us, an age-abiding weight of glory, — (aiōnios )
For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison. (aiōnios )
So long as we are not looking out for the visible things, but for the invisible; for, the visible things, are temporary, whereas, the invisible, are age-abiding. (aiōnios )
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (aiōnios )
For we know that—if, our earthly tent-dwelling, should be taken down, we have, a building of God, a dwelling not made by hand, age-abiding in the heavens. (aiōnios )
Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is dismantled, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. (aiōnios )
Even as it is written—He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy, —his righteousness, abideth to futurity. (aiōn )
As it is written: “He has scattered abroad His gifts to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” (aiōn )
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, knoweth—He who is blessed unto the ages—that I am not speaking falsely: (aiōn )
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is forever worthy of praise, knows that I am not lying. (aiōn )
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, — (aiōn )
who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn )
Unto whom be the glory unto the ages of ages: Amen! (aiōn )
to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Because, he that soweth into his own flesh, out of the flesh, shall reap corruption, whereas, he that soweth into the Spirit, out of the Spirit, shall reap age-abiding life. (aiōnios )
The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (aiōnios )
Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one, (aiōn )
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. (aiōn )
In which at one time ye walked, according to the age of the world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, of the spirit that now energiseth in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn )
in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. (aiōn )
That he might point out, in the oncoming ages, the surpassing riches of his favour in graciousness upon us, in Christ Jesus; (aiōn )
in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
And to bring to light—what is the administration of the sacred secret which had been hidden away from the ages in God, who did all things create: (aiōn )
and to illuminate for everyone the stewardship of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. (aiōn )
According to a plan of the ages which he made in the anointed Jesus our Lord, — (aiōn )
according to the eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn )
Unto him, be the glory, in the assembly, and in Christ Jesus—unto all the generations of the age of ages; Amen: — (aiōn )
to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but, against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-holders, of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn )
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (aiōn )
Now, unto our God and Father, be the glory—unto the ages of ages. Amen! (aiōn )
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
The sacred secret which had been hidden away from the ages and from the generations, but, now, hath been made manifest unto his saints— (aiōn )
the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints. (aiōn )
Who, indeed, a penalty, shall pay—age-abiding destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might— (aiōnios )
They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His might, (aiōnios )
But may, our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, —Who hath loved you, and given you age-abiding consolation and good hope by favour, (aiōnios )
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who by grace has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope, (aiōnios )
Nevertheless, on this account, was mercy shewn me, —that, in me, the chief, Christ Jesus might shew forth his entire longsuffering, for an ensample of them about to believe on him unto life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
But for this very reason I was shown mercy, so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His perfect patience as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now, unto the King of the ages, —incorruptible, invisible, alone God, be honour and glory, unto the ages of ages, Amen! (aiōn )
Now to the King eternal, immortal, and invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Be contesting the noble contest of the faith, —lay hold of the age-abiding life—unto which thou wast called, and didst make the noble confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Who alone hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, —Whom no man hath seen—nor can see: unto whom, be honour and might age-abiding. Amen. (aiōnios )
He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen Him, nor can anyone see Him. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen. (aiōnios )
Upon them who are rich in the present age, lay thou charge—not to be high-minded, nor to have set their hope on, riches’, uncertainty, —but on God, who offereth us all things richly for enjoying, (aiōn )
Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be conceited and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of wealth, but in God, who richly provides all things for us to enjoy. (aiōn )
Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to the peculiar purpose and favour—which was given to us in Christ Jesus before age-during times, (aiōnios )
He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began. (aiōnios )
For this cause, am I enduring, all things, for the sake of the chosen, in order that, they also, may obtain, the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus along with glory age-abiding. (aiōnios )
For this reason I endure all things for the sake of the elect, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios )
For, Demas, hath forsaken me, having loved the present age, and hath journeyed unto Thessalonica; Crescens unto Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia: (aiōn )
because Demas, in his love of this world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
The Lord will rescue me from every wicked work, and will bring me safe into his heavenly kingdom: unto whom be the glory, unto the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )
And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
In hope of life age-abiding; which God, who cannot lie, promised before age-during times, (aiōnios )
in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. (aiōnios )
Putting us under discipline—in order that, —denying ourselves of ungodliness and worldly covetings, in a soberminded and righteous and godly manner, we should live, in the present age, (aiōn )
It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, (aiōn )
In order that, having been declared righteous by his favour, we should be made inheritors, according to hope, of life age-abiding. (aiōnios )
so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )
For, peradventure, for this cause, was he separated for an hour, that, as an age-abiding possession, thou mightest have him back, — (aiōnios )
For perhaps this is why he was separated from you for a while, so that you might have him back for good— (aiōnios )
At the end of these days, He hath spoken unto us in his Son, —whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he hath made the ages; (aiōn )
But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. (aiōn )
but, as to the Son, —Thy throne, O God, is unto times age-abiding, and—A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of his kingdom, (aiōn )
But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom. (aiōn )
As also, in a different place, he saith—Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly, according to the rank of Melchizedek: (aiōn )
And in another passage God says: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
And, being made perfect, became, to all them that obey him, Author of salvation age-abiding; (aiōnios )
And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (aiōnios )
Of immersions—in respect of teaching, and of the laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of judgment age-abiding; — (aiōnios )
instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
And have tasted God’s utterance to be, sweet, mighty works also of a coming age, (aiōn )
who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— (aiōn )
Where a forerunner in our behalf hath entered, even Jesus, who, according to the rank of Melchizedek, hath become, a high-priest unto times age-abiding. (aiōn )
where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
For it is witnessed—Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly, according to the rank of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
For it is testified: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
For, they, indeed, apart from oath-taking, have been made priests, but, he, with an oath-taking, through him that was saying unto him—The Lord sware, and will not regret, —Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly (aiōn )
but Jesus became a priest with an oath by the One who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind: ‘You are a priest forever.’” (aiōn )
But, he, by reason of his remaining age-abidingly, untransmissible, holdeth, the priesthood. (aiōn )
But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. (aiōn )
For, the law, constituteth, men, high-priests, having, weakness; but, the word of the oath-taking, which cometh after the law, A Son, age-abidingly, made perfect. (aiōn )
For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. (aiōn )
Nor yet through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood he entered once for all into the Holy place, age-abiding redemption discovering. (aiōnios )
He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
How much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who through an age-abiding spirit offered himself unspotted unto God, purify our conscience from dead works, to the rendering of divine-service, unto a Living God? (aiōnios )
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from works of death, so that we may serve the living God! (aiōnios )
