< Nehemiah 9 >
1 Now, on the twenty-fourth day of this month, were the sons of Israel gathered together, with fasting and with sackcloth, having earth upon them.
Kaka na sanza wana, na mokolo ya tuku mibale na minei, bana ya Isalaele basanganaki mpo na kokila bilei; balataki basaki mpe bamipakolaki putulu na mito.
2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all the sons of the foreigner, —and stood and made confession over their own sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.
Bato nyonso oyo babotama na molongo ya bana ya Isalaele bakabwanaki na bapaya nyonso; batelemaki mpo na kotubela masumu na bango mpe bambeba ya batata na bango.
3 So they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of Yahweh their God, a fourth part of the day, —and, a fourth part, they were making confession and bowing themselves down, unto Yahweh their God.
Batelemaki na esika oyo bazalaki, mpe buku ya Mobeko ya Yawe, Nzambe na bango, etangamaki ngonga misato; mpe ngonga misato mosusu, bafukamaki liboso ya Yawe, Nzambe na bango, mpo na kotubela masumu na bango.
4 Then stood up on the platform of the Levites, Jeshua and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, Chenani, —and made outcry, with a loud voice, unto Yahweh their God.
Jozue, Buni, Kadimieli, Shebania, Bani, Sherebia mpe Kenani bamataki na etemelo ya kolobela oyo basalaki mpo na Balevi mpe babelelaki Yawe, Nzambe na bango na mongongo makasi.
5 Then said the Levites—Jeshua and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, Pethahiah, Stand up, bless Yahweh your God, from age to age, —Yea let them bless thy glorious Name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
Bongo Balevi oyo: Jozue, Kadimieli, Bani, Ashabinia, Sherebia, Odia, Shebania mpe Petaya balobaki: — Botelema mpe bokumisa Yawe, Nzambe na bino, mpo na seko na seko: « Tika ete Kombo na Yo ya nkembo epambolama mpe enetolama likolo ya nkembo mpe lokumu nyonso.
6 Thou, art Yahweh, thou alone, Thou, didst make the heavens, the heavens of heavens, and all their host, the earth and all that is thereon, the seas and all that is therein, and, thou, holdest them all in life, —and, the host of the heavens, unto thee, are bowing down.
Ezali Yo, bobele Yo, nde ozali Yawe! Okela Likolo, Likolo oyo eleki Likolo mpe mampinga nyonso ya Likolo; okela lisusu mabele mpe nyonso oyo ezali kati na yango, bibale minene mpe nyonso oyo ezali kati na yango; opesaka bomoi na bikelamu nyonso, mpe mampinga ya Likolo egumbamaka liboso na Yo.
7 Thou, art Yahweh, God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, —and madest his name Abraham;
Ezali Yo, Yawe Nzambe, nde oponaki Abrami mpe obimisaki ye longwa na Uri, mokili ya Chalide, mpe opesaki ye kombo Abrayami.
8 and didst find his heart faithful before thee, and didst solemnize with him a covenant, to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, —to give it unto his seed, —and didst confirm thy words, for, righteous, thou art.
Omonaki ete motema na ye ezali na boyengebene epai na Yo mpe osalaki boyokani elongo na ye mpo na kopesa na bakitani na ye mokili ya bato ya Kanana, ya bato ya Iti, ya bato ya Amori, ya bato ya Perizi, ya bato ya Yebusi mpe ya bato ya Girigazi. Okokisaki elaka na Yo, pamba te ozali Sembo.
9 Yea thou sawest the affliction of our fathers, in Egypt, and, their outcry, thou heardest, by the Red Sea;
Omonaki minyoko ya bakoko na biso kati na Ejipito mpe oyokaki koganga na bango pembeni ya ebale monene ya Barozo.
10 and didst grant signs and wonders against Pharaoh, and against all his servants, and against all the people of his land, for thou hadst taken note, that they ruled proudly over them, —and so thou didst make thee a name, as at this day.
Osalaki bilembo minene mpe bikamwa mpo na kotelemela Faraon, bakalaka na ye nyonso mpe bato nyonso ya mokili na ye; pamba te oyebaki kanza ya mitema ya bato ya Ejipito mpe ndenge banyokolaki bakoko na biso. Boye osalaki ete sango ya Kombo na Yo ekende mosika ndenge ezali kino na mokolo ya lelo.
11 And, the sea, didst thou cleave asunder before them, and they passed through the midst of the sea, on dry ground, —whereas, their pursuers, thou didst cast into the depths like a stone, into the mighty waters,
Okabolaki ebale monene liboso na bango, mpe batambolaki kati na ebale yango lokola na mabele ya kokawuka. Kasi ozindisaki lokola libanga monene kati na mozindo ya mayi makasi, bato oyo bazalaki kolanda bango.
12 And, in a pillar of cloud, didst thou lead them, by day, —and in a pillar of fire, by night, to light up for them the way wherein they should go.
Otambolisaki bango, na moyi, na nzela ya likonzi ya mapata, mpe, na butu, na nzela ya likonzi ya moto mpo na kongengisa nzela oyo basengelaki kotambola.
13 And, upon Mount Sinai, camest thou down, and spakest with them out of the heavens, —and gavest them just regulations, and faithful laws, good statutes and commandments.
Okitaki na ngomba Sinai, olobaki na bango wuta na likolo mpe opesaki bango malako, mibeko ya solo mpe ya alima, mitindo mpe bikateli malamu.
14 And, thy holy sabbath, didst thou make known to them, —and, commandments and statutes and a law, didst thou command them, through Moses thy servant.
Olakisaki bango Saba na Yo ya bule mpe opesaki bango mitindo, bikateli mpe mibeko na nzela ya Moyize, mosali na Yo.
15 And, bread out of the heavens, didst thou give them, for their hunger, and, waters out of the cliff, didst thou bring them, for their thirst, —and badest them go in to take possession of the land, which thou hadst lifted thy hand to give them.
Tango bazalaki na nzala, opesaki bango bilei wuta na likolo; mpe tango bazalaki na posa ya mayi, obimiselaki bango mayi wuta na libanga. Olobaki na bango ete bakende kobotola mokili oyo, na nzela ya ndayi, olakaki kopesa bango.
16 But, they and our fathers, dealt proudly, —and hardened their neck, and hearkened not unto thy commandments;
Kasi bango, bakoko na biso, bakomaki lolendo mpe mito makasi, batosaki mibeko na Yo te.
17 but refused to hearken, neither kept in mind thy wonders which thou hadst done with them, but they hardened their neck, and appointed a head that they might return to their servitude, in their perverseness. But, thou, art a God of forgivenesses, gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness, and didst not forsake them.
Baboyaki koyoka mpe kokanisa bikamwa oyo osalaki mpo na bolamu na bango. Bakomaki mito makasi mpe, na botomboki na bango, bamiponelaki mokonzi mpo na kozonga na bowumbu na bango. Kasi lokola ozali Nzambe oyo alimbisaka bato, Nzambe oyo atalisaka ngolu mpe ayokaka mawa; lokola osilikaka noki te mpe otonda na boboto, otikalaki kosundola bango ata moke te,
18 Yea, although they made them a molten calf, and said, This, is thy God, that brought thee up out of Egypt, —and wrought great insults,
ezala tango bamisalelaki ekeko ya mwana ngombe ya ebende oyo banyangwisa na moto mpe balobaki: ‹ Tala Nzambe na yo, oyo abimisaki yo na Ejipito! › mpe tango balobaki maloba ya nkele mpo na kotelemela Yo.
19 yet, thou, in thine abounding compassions, didst not forsake them in the desert, —the pillar of cloud, departed not from over them by day, to lead them in the way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to light up for them the way wherein they should go.
Mpo na mawa monene na Yo, otikalaki kosundola bango te na esobe: likonzi ya mapata etikaki bango te, ekobaki kotambolisa bango na nzela na bango, na moyi; mpe na butu, likonzi ya moto etikaki te kongengisa nzela oyo basengelaki kolanda.
20 And, thy Good Spirit, thou gavest, to instruct them, —and, thy manna, thou withheldest not from their mouth, and, water, thou gavest them, for their thirst.
Opesaki bango Molimo malamu na Yo mpo na kopesa bango bososoli. Opimelaki bango te mana na Yo, oyo bazalaki kolia, mpe opesaki bango mayi ya komela tango bazalaki na posa ya mayi.
21 Yea, forty years, didst thou sustain them in the desert, they lacked nothing, —their mantles, waxed not old and, their feet, swelled not.
Mibu tuku minei, okokisaki posa na bango nyonso kati na esobe; bazangaki eloko moko te, bilamba na bango etikalaki kokufa te, mpe makolo na bango etikalaki kovimba te.
22 And thou gavest them kingdoms, and peoples, and allotted to each of them a corner, —and they took possession of the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.
Okabaki mikili mpe bikolo na maboko na bango mpo ete bazwa bituka na bango kino na bandelo na yango. Babotolaki mokili ya Sikoni, mokonzi ya Eshiboni, mpe mokili ya Ogi, mokonzi ya Bashani.
23 Their children also, didst thou multiply, like the stars of the heavens, —and didst bring them into the land which thou hadst promised their fathers they should enter to possess;
Okomisaki bana na bango ya mibali ebele lokola minzoto ya likolo mpe omemaki bango kino kati na mokili oyo opeselaki bakoko na bango mitindo ete bakende kobotola yango.
24 so the children entered and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and deliveredst them into their hand, —with their kings, and the peoples of the land, to do with them according to their pleasure;
Bana na bango ya mibali bakotaki mpe babotolaki mokili yango. Otiaki na se ya bokonzi na bango, bato ya Kanana oyo bazalaki kovanda kuna; okabaki bato ya Kanana elongo na bakonzi na bango na maboko ya bana ya Isalaele mpo ete basala bato ya Kanana ndenge balingi.
25 and they captured fortified cities and a fat soil, and took possession of houses full of every good thing, wells digged, vineyards and oliveyards and fruit-trees, in abundance, —so they did eat and were filled and became fat, and luxuriated in thy great goodness.
Babotolaki bingumba batonga makasi mpe mabele oyo ebotaka malamu. Babotolaki bandako etonda na biloko ya ndenge na ndenge, mabulu ya mayi batimola wuta kala, bilanga ya vino, ya nzete ya olive mpe ya nzete mosusu ebele oyo ebotaka mbuma ya kolia. Na bolingo monene na Yo, baliaki mpe batondaki, bakomaki minene mpe basepelaki na mapamboli na Yo nyonso.
26 But they murmured and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their back, and, thy prophets, they slew, who testified against them that they might turn them back unto thee, —and they wrought great insults.
Kasi batosaki Yo te mpe batombokelaki Yo, bapesaki Mibeko na Yo mokongo, babomaki basakoli na Yo, oyo bazalaki koteya bango ete bazonga epai na Yo, mpe batiolaki Yo makasi na maloba na bango.
27 Therefore didst thou deliver them into the hand of their adversaries, who distressed them, —and, in the time of their distress, they made outcry unto thee, and, thou, out of the heavens, didst hear, and, according to thine abounding compassions, gavest them saviours, that they might save them out of the hand of their adversaries.
Boye okabaki bango na maboko ya banguna na bango, oyo banyokolaki bango. Kasi tango bakomaki na pasi makasi, babelelaki Yo; mpe Yo, wuta na likolo, oyokaki bango; bongo na mawa monene na Yo, otindelaki bango bakangoli oyo bakangolaki bango na maboko ya banguna na bango.
28 But, as soon as they had rest, they again wrought wickedness before thee, —and thou didst leave them in the hand of their enemies, who bare rule over them, yet, when they again made outcry unto thee, thou, from the heavens, didst hear and didst deliver them according to thy compassions, many times;
Kasi tango kaka bakomaki na kimia, bazongelaki lisusu kosala mabe na miso na Yo! Mpe Yo, osundolaki bango na maboko ya banguna na bango, oyo bakomaki kokonza bango. Kasi tango babelelaki Yo lisusu, oyokaki bango wuta na likolo mpe, na mawa monene na Yo, okangolaki bango mbala mingi.
29 and didst testify against them, to bring them back unto thy law, yet, they, dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, and, against thy regulations, they sinned, the which—if any son of earth shall do—then shall he live by them, —and yielded a rebellious shoulder, and, their neck, they stiffened, and hearkened not.
Okebisaki bango mpo ete bazongela Mibeko na Yo; kasi, na lolendo na bango, baboyaki kotosa mitindo na Yo. Basalaki masumu, babukaki mibeko na Yo, oyo nzokande esalaka ete moto oyo akotia yango na misala azala na bomoi. Kasi na lolendo mpe na botomboki na bango, bapesaki Yo mokongo, bakomaki mito makasi mpe baboyaki koyoka.
30 And thou didst suffer many years to pass over them, and didst testify against them by thy Spirit through thy prophets, yet did they not give ear, —therefore didst thou deliver them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.
Ozalaki na motema monene liboso na bango wuta mibu ebele mpe, na nzela ya Molimo na Yo, okebisaki bango na nzela ya basakoli na Yo. Kasi bayokaki kaka te. Boye okabaki bango na maboko ya bikolo ya bapaya.
31 Yet, in thine abounding compassions, thou didst not make of them an end, neither didst thou forsake them, —for, a GOD gracious and full of compassion, thou art.
Kasi na mawa monene na Yo, osilisaki bango te na koboma mpe osundolaki bango te; pamba te ozali Nzambe otonda na mawa mpe na ngolu.
32 Now, therefore, O our God—the GOD great, mighty, and fearful—keeping the covenant and the lovingkindness, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, which hath come upon us—on our kings, on our rulers, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, —from the days of the kings of Assyria, until this day.
Sik’oyo, Oh Nzambe na biso, Nzambe Monene, Nzambe na nguya mpe ya somo, Yo oyo obatelaka boyokani mpe bolingo na Yo, komona te lokola likambo ya pamba na miso na Yo pasi oyo ekomeli biso, bakonzi na biso, bakambi na biso, Banganga-Nzambe na biso, basakoli na biso, batata na biso mpe bato na Yo nyonso, wuta na tango ya bakonzi ya Asiri kino na mokolo ya lelo.
33 But, thou, art righteous, as to all that hath fallen upon us, —for, faithfulness, hast thou wrought, whereas, we, have been lawless;
Kati na makambo nyonso oyo ekweyelaki biso, ozalaki sembo; mpe osalaki na boyengebene, wana biso totambolaki mabe.
34 and, our kings, our rulers, our priests, and our fathers, have not kept thy law, —nor given heed unto thy commandments, or unto thy testimonies, wherewith thou hast testified against them.
Bakonzi na biso, bakambi na biso, Banganga-Nzambe na biso mpe batata na biso batiaki Mibeko na Yo na mosala te, batosaki te mitindo mpe makebisi na Yo, oyo ozalaki kopesa bango.
35 But, they, in their kingdom, and in thine abundant goodness which thou gavest them, and in the broad and fat land which thou didst set before them, did not serve thee, neither turned they from their wicked doings.
Ezala wana bazalaki kati na mokili na bango, wana bazalaki kosepela mpo na bolamu oyo ozalaki kotalisa bango kati na mokili monene oyo mabele na yango ebotaka malamu, basalelaki Yo te mpe batikaki te banzela mabe na bango.
36 Lo! we, to-day, are bondmen—even upon the land which thou gavest our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, lo! we, are bondmen;
Kasi tala, tozali lelo bawumbu! Tozali penza bawumbu kati na mokili oyo opesaki na bakoko na biso mpo ete balia mbuma na yango mpe biloko mosusu ya kitoko oyo ebimaka kuna!
37 and, the increase thereof, aboundeth unto the kings whom thou hast set over us, for our sins, —and, over our bodies, are they bearing rule, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and, in great distress, we are.
Mpo na masumu na biso, ebele ya mbuma na yango ekeyi na maboko ya bakonzi oyo otiaki na makasi mpo ete banyokola biso. Bazali kokonza banzoto na biso mpe bibwele na biso ndenge balingi. Tokomi na pasi makasi. »
38 Seeing, therefore, all this, we, are plighting our faith, and putting it in writing, —and, upon the sealed scroll, are our rulers, our Levites, our priests.
Mpo na makambo oyo nyonso, tozali kozwa mokano oyo tozali kokoma na mokanda; mpe bakambi na biso, Balevi na biso mpe Banganga-Nzambe na biso bakotia mikoloto na bango na mokanda yango.
