Nehemiah 3
1 Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;
І встав Еліяші́в, первосвященик, та брати його священики, і збудували Овечу браму. Вони освятили її, і повставля́ли її двері, й аж до башти Меа освятили її, аж до башти Ханан'їла.
2 and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.
А поруч нього будували єрихо́няни, а поруч них будував Заккур, син Імріїв.
3 And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
А браму Рибну збудували сини Сенаїні, і вони покрили її бру́ссями, і повставляли двері її, замки́ її та за́суви її.
4 and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;
А поруч них направляв Меремот, син Урії, Коцового сина, а поруч них направляв Мешуллам, син Берехії, Мешав'їлового сина, а поруч них направляв Садок, Баанин син.
5 and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.
А поруч них направляли текояни, але́ їхні вельмо́жі не схилили своєї шиї в службу свого Господа.
6 And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
А браму Стару направляли Йояда, син Пасеахів, та Мешуллам, син Бесодеїн, — вони покрива́ли бру́ссями, і вставляли двері її, і замки́ її та за́суви її.
7 and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;
А поруч них направляв ґів'онеянин Мелатія та меронотеянин Ядон, люди Ґів'ону та Міцпи, що належали до володі́ння намісника Заріччя.
8 at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;
Поруч нього направляв Уззіїл, син Хархаїн, з золотарів, а поруч нього направляв Хананія, син Раккахімів, — і вони віднови́ли Єрусалима аж до Широкого муру.
9 and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;
А поруч нього направляв Рефая, син Хурів, зверхник половини єрусалимської округи.
10 and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;
А поруч нього направляв Єдая, син Харумафів, а то навпроти дому свого, а при його руці направляв Хаттуш, син Хашавнеїн.
11 a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;
Другу міру направляв Малкійя, син Харімів, та Хашшув, син Пахат-Моавів, та башту Печей.
12 and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.
А поруч нього направляв Шаллум, син Лохеша, зверхник половини єрусалимської окру́ги, він та дочка́ його.
13 The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.
Браму Долинну направляв Ханун та ме́шканці Заноаху, — вони збудували її, і повставляли двері її, замки́ її та за́суви її, і тисячу ліктів у мурі аж до Смітнико́вої брами.
14 And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
А Смітнико́ву браму направив Малкійя, син Рехавів, зверхник бет-керемської округи, — він збудував її, і повставля́в її двері, замки́ її та за́суви її.
15 And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;
А Джерельну браму направив Шаллум, син Кол-Хезеїв, зверхник округи Міцпи, — він збудував її, і покри́в її, і повставля́в її двері, замки́ її та за́суви її, і направив мура ставу Шелах до царсько́го садка́, і аж до ступені́в, що спускаються з Давидового Міста.
16 after him, repaired, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of the half-circuit of Beth-zur, —as far as over against the sepulchres of David, even unto the pool which had been made, and unto the house of heroes;
За ним направляв Неемія, син Азбуків, зверхник половини бетцурської окру́ги аж до місця навпроти Давидових гробі́в і аж до зробленого ста́ву, і аж до дому Лицарів.
17 after him, repaired, the Levites, Rehum son of Bani, —at his hand, repaired, Hashabiah, ruler of the half-circuit of Keilah, for his circuit;
За ним направляли Левити: Рехум, син Баніїв, поруч нього направляв зверхник половини округи Кеїла, для своєї окру́ги.
18 after him, repaired, their brethren, Bavvai son of Henadad, —ruler of the [other] half-circuit of Keilah;
За ним направляли їхні брати: Баввай, син Хенададів, зверхник половини окру́ги Кеїла.
19 and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;
І направляв поруч нього Езер, син Єшуїн, зверхник округи, міру другу, від місця навпроти виходу до зброя́рні наріжника.
20 after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;
За ним ревно направляв Барух, Заббаїв син, міру другу, від наріжника аж до входу до дому первосвященика Еліяшіва.
21 after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;
За ним направляв Меремот, син Урійї, сина Коцового, міру другу, від входу до Еліяшівового дому й аж до кінця Еліяшівового дому.
22 and, after him, repaired, the priests, the men of the Circuit;
А за ним направляли священики, люди йорданської окру́ги.
23 after him, repaired, Benjamin and Hasshub, over against their own house, —after him, repaired, Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah, beside his own house;
За ним направляв Веніямин, син Хашшувів, навпроти свого дому; за ним направляв Азарія, син Маасеї, сина Ананіїного, при своєму домі.
24 after him, repaired, Binnui son of Henadad, a second length, —from the house of Azariah, unto the corner, even unto the pinnacle:
За ним направляв Біннуй, син Хенададів, міру другу, від Азаріїного дому аж до нарі́жника й аж до ро́гу.
25 Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.
Палал, син Узаїв, — від місця навпроти наріжника та в горі́шній башті, що вихо́дить із царсько́го дому, що при в'язни́чному подві́р'ї. За ним Педая, син Пар'ошів.
26 Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;
А підда́нці храму сиділи в Офелі аж до місця навпроти Водної брами на схід та навпро́ти виступа́ючої башти.
27 after him, repaired, the Tekoites, a second length, —from over against the great tower that projecteth, even unto the wall of Ophel:
За ним направляли техояни, міру другу, від місця навпроти великої виступаючої башти й аж до офельського му́ру.
28 from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
З-над Кінської брами направляли священики, кожен навпроти дому свого́.
29 after him, repaired, Zadok son of Immer, over against his own house, —and, after him, repaired, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, keeper of the east-gate;
За ним и направляв Садо́к, син Іммерів, навпроти свого дому, а за ним направляв Шемая, син Шеханіїн, сторож Схі́дньої брами.
30 after him, repaired, Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun sixth son of Zalaph, a second length, —after him, repaired, Meshullam son of Berechiah, over against his chamber;
За ним направляв Хананія, син Шелеміїн, та Ханун, шо́стий син Цалафів, міру другу; за ним направляв Мешуллам, син Берехіїн, навпроти своєї кімна́ти.
31 after him, repaired, Malchijah son of Zorphi, as far as the house of the Nethinim, and the traders, —over against the muster-gate, even unto the ascent of the pinnacle;
За ним направляв Малкійя, син золотаря́, аж до дому храмови́х підда́нців та крамарі́в, навпроти брами Міфкад і аж до наріжної го́рниці.
32 and, between the ascent of the pinnacle and the sheep-gate, repaired, the goldsmiths, and the traders.
А між наріжною го́рницею до Овечої брами направляли золотарі́ та крамарі́.
