Nehemiah 3
1 Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;
Kisha Eliashibu, kuhani mkuu, akasimama pamoja na ndugu zake makuhani, wakajenga lango la kondoo. Walitakasa na kuweka milango yake. Waliweka wakfu hadi mnara wa Hamea na hadi mnara wa Hananeli.
2 and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.
Baada yao watu wa Yeriko walijenga, na baada yao Zakuri mwana wa Imri alijenga.
3 And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
Wana wa Senaa wakajenga lango la samaki. Wanaweka mihimili yake na kuweka milango yake na vyuma vyake na makomeo yake.
4 and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;
Meremoth aliandaa sehemu inayofuata. Yeye ni mwana wa Uria mwana wa Hakosi. Na baada yao Meshulamu akatengeneza. Yeye ni mwana wa Berekia mwana wa Meshezabeli. Karibu nao Sadoki akatengeneza. Yeye ni mwana wa Baana.
5 and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.
Baada yao Watekoi wakatengeneza, lakini viongozi wao walikataa kufanya kazi iliyoagizwa na wakuu wao.
6 And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
Yoyada mwana wa Pasea, na Meshulamu mwana wa Besodeya, walitengeneza lango la Kale. Wanaweka mihimili, na kuweka milango yake na vyuma vyake na makomeo yake.
7 and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;
Nao, Melatia Mgibeoni, na Yadoni Meronothi, watu wa Gibeoni na Mispa, walifanyia matengenezo juu ya sehemu ambapo mkuu wa mkoa wa ng'ambo ya Mto aliishi.
8 at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;

9 and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;

10 and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;
Na baada yao Yedaya mwana wa Harumafu akajenga karibu na nyumba yake. Na baada yake Hatushi mwana wa Hashabneya akajenga.
11 a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;
Malkiya mwana wa Harimu na Hashubu mwana wa Pahat Moabu, wajenga sehemu nyingine pamoja na mnara wa tanuu.
12 and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.
Baada yao Shalumu mwana wa Haloheshi, mkuu wa nusu ya wilaya ya Yerusalemu, akajenga, pamoja na binti zake.
13 The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.
Hanuni na wenyeji wa Zanoa walijenga lango la bondeni. Walijenga tena na kuweka milango yake, na vyuma vyake na makomeo yake. Walijenga dhiraa elfu hadi lango la jaa.
14 And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
Malkiya, mwana wa Rekabu, mkuu wa wilaya ya Beth-Hakeremu, akajenga lango la jaa. Alijenga na kuweka milango yake, na vyuma vyake na makomeo yake.
15 And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;
Shalumu mwana wa Kolhoze, mkuu wa wilaya ya Mispa, akajenga lango la Chemchemi. Alijenga, na kuweka kifuniko juu yake na kuweka milango yake na vyuma vyake na makomeo yake. Alijenga upya ukuta wa Pwani wa Silowamu kwa bustani ya mfalme, hadi ngazi ya kuongoza kutoka mji wa Daudi.
16 after him, repaired, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of the half-circuit of Beth-zur, —as far as over against the sepulchres of David, even unto the pool which had been made, and unto the house of heroes;
Nehemia mwana wa Azbuki, mtawala wa nusu ya wilaya ya Beth-suri, akajenga mahali hapo, toka maburini ya Daudi, mpaka birika lililojengwa na watu, na nyumba ya watu wenye nguvu.
17 after him, repaired, the Levites, Rehum son of Bani, —at his hand, repaired, Hashabiah, ruler of the half-circuit of Keilah, for his circuit;
Baada yake, Walawi walijenga, pamoja na Rehumi mwana wa Bani na baada yake, Hashabia, mtawala wa nusu ya wilaya ya Keila, kwa wilaya yake.
18 after him, repaired, their brethren, Bavvai son of Henadad, —ruler of the [other] half-circuit of Keilah;

19 and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;
Baada yake alijenga Ezeri, mwana wa Yeshua, mtawala wa Mispa, alijenga sehemu nyingine kuelekea ghala ya silaha, kwenye kona ya ukuta.
20 after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;
Baada yake Baruki, mwana wa Zakai, akajenga kwa hiari sehemu nyingine, toka kona ya ukuta mpaka mlango wa nyumba ya Eliashibu, kuhani mkuu.
21 after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;
Baada yake Meremothi, mwana wa Uria, mwana wa Hakosi, akajenga sehemu nyingine, toka mlango wa nyumba ya Eliashibu mpaka mwisho wa nyumba ya Eliashibu.
22 and, after him, repaired, the priests, the men of the Circuit;
Kisha baada yake makuhani, watu wa eneo hilo karibu na Yerusalemu, walijenga.
23 after him, repaired, Benjamin and Hasshub, over against their own house, —after him, repaired, Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah, beside his own house;
Baada yao Benyamini na Hashubu walijenga kuielekea nyumba yao. Baada yao Azaria mwana wa Maaseya, mwana wa Anania, alijenga karibu na nyumba yake.
24 after him, repaired, Binnui son of Henadad, a second length, —from the house of Azariah, unto the corner, even unto the pinnacle:
Baada yake Binui mwana wa Henadadi akajenga sehemu nyingine, kutoka nyumba ya Azaria hadi kona ya ukuta.
25 Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.
Palali, mwana wa Uzai, akajenga juu ya kona ya ukuta na mnara unaoenea juu kutoka nyumba ya juu ya mfalme katika uwanda wa walinzi. Baada yake Pedaya mwana wa Paroshi akajenga.
26 Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;
Sasa watumishi wa hekalu waliokaa Ofeli walijenga mpaka upande wa Hifadhi ya Maji upande wa mashariki wa mnara unaojitokeza.
27 after him, repaired, the Tekoites, a second length, —from over against the great tower that projecteth, even unto the wall of Ophel:
Baada yake, Watekoi walijenga sehemu nyingine, kuelekea mnara mkubwa ulio nje, mpaka ukuta wa Ofeli.
28 from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
Makuhani wakajenga juu ya lango la farasi, kila mmoja kuelekea nyumba yake.
29 after him, repaired, Zadok son of Immer, over against his own house, —and, after him, repaired, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, keeper of the east-gate;
Baada yao Sadoki, mwana wa Imeri, alijenga sehemu hiyo kuelekea nyumba yake. Na baada yake Shemaya mwana wa Shekania, mlinzi wa lango la mashariki, akajenga.
30 after him, repaired, Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun sixth son of Zalaph, a second length, —after him, repaired, Meshullam son of Berechiah, over against his chamber;
Baada yake Hanania, mwana wa Shelemia, na Hanuni, mwana wa sita wa Salafu, wakajenga sehemu nyingine. Meshulamu mwana wa Berekia akajenga kuelekea kwenye vyumba vyake.
31 after him, repaired, Malchijah son of Zorphi, as far as the house of the Nethinim, and the traders, —over against the muster-gate, even unto the ascent of the pinnacle;
Baada yake Malkiya, mmoja wa wafua dhahabu, akajenga mpaka nyumba ya watumishi wa hekalu na wafanyabiashara waliokuwa wakielekea lango la gereza na mpaka chumba cha juu cha pembeni.
32 and, between the ascent of the pinnacle and the sheep-gate, repaired, the goldsmiths, and the traders.
Wafanyabiashara wa dhahabu na wafanyabiashara walijenga kati ya chumba cha juu cha kona na Lango la Kondoo.
