Nehemiah 3
1 Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;
Tada usta veliki svećenik Elijašib sa svojom braćom svećenicima te sagradiše Ovčja vrata. Posvetiše ih, postaviše im krila i nastaviše graditi sve do kule Meaha i do Hananelove kule.
2 and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.
Kraj njih su gradili Jerihonci, a do njih je gradio Zakur, sin Imrijev.
3 And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
Sinovi Hasnaini gradili su Riblja vrata, stavili dovratke, utvrdili krila, stožere i prijevornice.
4 and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;
Kraj njih je popravljao Merimot, sin Urije, sina Hakosova; a do njega je popravljao Mešulam, sin Berekje, sina Mešezabelova; a do njega je popravljao Sadok, sin Baanin.
5 and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.
Kraj njih su popravljali Tekoanci, ali su njihovi plemenitaši odbili da prignu šiju na službu svojim gospodarima.
6 And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
Stara vrata popravljali su Jojada, sin Paseahov, i Mešulam, sin Besodjin. Oni su stavili dovratke, učvrstili krila, stožere i prijevornice.
7 and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;
A kraj njih obnavljahu Melatja Gibeonjanin, Jadon Meronoćanin i ljudi iz Gibeona i Mispe, podložnici upravitelja s onu stranu Rijeke.
8 at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;
A do njih je popravljao Uziel, Harhajin sin, zlatar, a do njega je popravljao Hananija, jedan od pomastara: oni su utvrdili Jeruzalem sve do Širokog zida.
9 and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;
Do njih je popravljao Refaja, sin Hurov, glavar polovice jeruzalemskog okruga.
10 and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;
A do njega je popravljao Jedaja, sin Harumafov, pred svojom kućom; a do njega je popravljao Hatuš, sin Hašabnejin.
11 a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;
Malkija, sin Harimov, i Hašub, sin Pahat-Moabov, popravljali su dio sve do Pećne kule.
12 and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.
A do njih je popravljao Šalum, sin Halohešov, glavar polovice okruga, on i njegovi sinovi.
13 The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.
Dolinska vrata popravljao je Hanum i stanovnici Zanoaha: sagradili su ih, učvrstili krila, stožere i prijevornice i postavili tisuću lakata zida do Smetlišnih vrata.
14 And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
Smetlišna vrata popravljao je Malkija, sin Rekabov, glavar bethakeremskog okruga, sa svojim sinovima: učvrstili su krila, stožere i prijevornice.
15 And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;
Izvorska vrata popravljao je Šalum, sin Kol-Hozeov, glavar nad mispanskim okrugom: sagradio ih je, pokrio ih, utvrdio vratna krila, stožere i prijevornice. On je popravio i zid kod ribnjaka Šiloaha, koji se proteže od Kraljevskog vrta do stepenica što silaze iz Davidova grada.
16 after him, repaired, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of the half-circuit of Beth-zur, —as far as over against the sepulchres of David, even unto the pool which had been made, and unto the house of heroes;
Za njim je popravljao Nehemija, sin Azbukov, glavar nad polovicom betsurskog okruga, sve do nasuprot Davidovim grobnicama i do umjetnog ribnjaka i Vojarne.
17 after him, repaired, the Levites, Rehum son of Bani, —at his hand, repaired, Hashabiah, ruler of the half-circuit of Keilah, for his circuit;
Za njim su popravljali leviti: Rehum, sin Banijev; a do njega je popravljao Hašabja, glavar nad polovicom keilskog okruga, za svoje područje.
18 after him, repaired, their brethren, Bavvai son of Henadad, —ruler of the [other] half-circuit of Keilah;
Do njih su popravljala njihova braća: Bavaj, sin Henadadov, glavar nad polovicom keilskog kotara;
19 and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;
a do njega Ezer, sin Ješuin, glavar Mispe, popravljao je drugi dio, sučelice usponu prema Oružarnici na uglu.
20 after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;
Za njim je popravljao Baruk, sin Zabajev, i popravio je drugi dio, od ugla do kućnih vrata velikog svećenika Elijašiba.
21 after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;
Za njim je popravljao Meremot, sin Urije, sina Hakosova, drugi dio: od Elijašibova kućnog ulaza do kraja Elijašibove kuće.
22 and, after him, repaired, the priests, the men of the Circuit;
Za njima su radili na popravcima svećenici koji su živjeli u Okružju.
23 after him, repaired, Benjamin and Hasshub, over against their own house, —after him, repaired, Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah, beside his own house;
Za njima su pak popravljali Benjamin i Hašub sučelice svojim kućama. Za njima je popravljao Azarja, sin Ananijina sina Maaseje, nasuprot svojoj kući.
24 after him, repaired, Binnui son of Henadad, a second length, —from the house of Azariah, unto the corner, even unto the pinnacle:
Za njima je popravljao Binuj, sin Henadadov, drugi dio - od Azarjine kuće do ugla, do zidnog kruništa.
25 Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.
Palal, sin Uzajev, popravljao je nasuprot uglu i kuli koja se uzdiže iznad Gornje kraljevske palače, a nalazi se prema dvorištu Tamnice. Za njim je Pedaja, sin Parošev, popravljao
26 Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;
sve do Vodenih vrata, u smjeru istoka, i sve do pred Uzdignutu kulu.
27 after him, repaired, the Tekoites, a second length, —from over against the great tower that projecteth, even unto the wall of Ophel:
Za njima su popravljali Tekoanci drugi dio nasuprot velikoj Uzdignutoj kuli, sve do Ofelskog zida.
28 from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
Od Konjskih vrata popravljali su svećenici, svaki nasuprot svojoj kući.
29 after him, repaired, Zadok son of Immer, over against his own house, —and, after him, repaired, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, keeper of the east-gate;
Za njima je Sadok, sin Imerov, popravljao nasuprot svojoj kući. Za njim je popravljao Šemaja, sin Šekanijin, čuvar Istočnih vrata.
30 after him, repaired, Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun sixth son of Zalaph, a second length, —after him, repaired, Meshullam son of Berechiah, over against his chamber;
Za njim su Hananija, sin Šelemjin, i Hanun, šesti sin Salafov, popravljali drugi dio. Za njima je popravljao Mešulam, sin Berekjin, nasuprot svome stanu.
31 after him, repaired, Malchijah son of Zorphi, as far as the house of the Nethinim, and the traders, —over against the muster-gate, even unto the ascent of the pinnacle;
Za njim je Malkija, zlatar, popravljao sve do prebivališta netinaca i trgovaca, nasuprot Nadgledničkim vratima do Gornje dvorane na zidnom kruništu.
32 and, between the ascent of the pinnacle and the sheep-gate, repaired, the goldsmiths, and the traders.
A zlatari su i trgovci popravljali između Gornje dvorane na zidnom kruništu do Ovčjih vrata.
