Nehemiah 12
1 Now, these, are the priests and the Levites, who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua, —Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;
Estes são sacerdotes e levitas que subiram com Zorobabel, filho de Sealthiel, e com Jesué: Seraias, Jeremias, Esdras,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;

4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;

5 Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;

6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;
Semaias, e Joiarib, Jedaias,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah, —these, were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren, in the days of Jeshua.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkias, Jedaias: estes foram os chefes dos sacerdotes e de seus irmãos, nos dias de Jesué.
8 And, the Levites, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, —over the choirs, he and his brethren;
E foram os levitas: Jesué, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebias, Judah, Matthanias: este e seus irmãos presidiam sobre os louvores.
9 and Bakbukiah and Unno their brethren, were over against them, in wards.
E Bakbukias e Uni, seus irmãos, defronte d'elle, nas guardas.
10 And Jeshua, begat Joiakim, —and Joiakim, begat Eliashib, and, Eliashib, [begat] Joiada;
E Jesué gerou a Joaquim, e Joaquim gerou a Eliasib, e Eliasib gerou a Joiada,
11 and, Joiada, begat Jonathan, —and, Jonathan, begat Jaddua.
E Joiada gerou a Jonathan, e Jonathan gerou a Jaddua.
12 And, in the days of Joiakim, were priests, ancestral chiefs, —of Seraiah, Meraiah, of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
E nos dias de Joaquim foram sacerdotes, cabeças dos paes: de Seraias, Meraias; de Jeremias, Hananias;
13 of Ezra, Meshullam, —of Amariah, Jehohanan;
D'Esdras, Messullam; de Amarias, Johanan;
14 of Malluchi, Jonathan, —of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15 of Harim, Adna, —of Meraioth, Helkai;

21 of Hilkiah, Hashabiah, —of Jedaiah, Nethanel.

22 The Levites—in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded as ancestral chiefs, —also the priests, unto the reign of Darius the Persian.
Dos levitas foram nos dias d'Eliasib escriptos como cabeças de paes, Joiada, e Johnan, e Jaddua; como tambem os sacerdotes, até ao reinado de Dario o persa.
23 the sons of Levi, ancestral heads, were written in the book of Chronicles, —even until the days of Johanan, son of Eliashib.
Os filhos de Levi escriptos como cabeças de paes no livro das chronicas, até aos dias de Johanan, filho d'Eliasib.
24 And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise—to give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God, —ward joined to ward.
Foram pois os cabeças dos levitas; Hasabias, Serabias, e Jesué, filho de Kadmiel, e seus irmãos defronte d'elles, para louvarem e darem graças, segundo o mandado de David, homem de Deus: guarda contra guarda.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.
Matthanias, e Bakbukias, Obadias, Mesullam, Talmon, e Akkub, eram porteiros, que faziam a guarda ás thesourarias das portas.
26 These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, —and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.
Estes foram nos dias de Joaquim, filho de Jesué, o filho de Josadak; como tambem nos dias de Nehemias, o governador, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.
27 And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, —to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
E na dedicação dos muros de Jerusalem buscaram os levitas de todos os seus logares, para os trazerem, afim de fazerem a dedicação com alegrias, e com louvores, e com canto, psalterios, alaudes, e com harpas.
28 So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, —both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;
E assim ajuntaram os filhos dos cantores, tanto da campina dos arredores de Jerusalem, como das aldeias de Netophati;
29 also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth, —for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.
Como tambem da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Gibeah, e Azmaveth: porque os cantores se edificaram aldeias nos arredores de Jerusalem.
30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, —and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
E purificaram-se os sacerdotes e os levitas; e logo purificaram o povo, e as portas, e o muro.
31 Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall, —and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;
Então fiz subir os principes de Judah sobre o muro, e ordenei dois grandes coros e procissões, um á mão direita sobre o muro da banda da porta do monturo.
32 and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;
E após elles ia Hosaias, e a metade dos principes de Judah,
33 then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;
E Azarias, Esdras, e Mesullam,
34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
Judah, e Benjamin, e Semaias, e Jeremias.
35 and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariah—son of Jonathan—son of Shemaiah—son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;
E dos filhos dos sacerdotes, com trombetas: Zacharias, filho de Jonathan, o filho de Semaias, filho de Matthanias, filho de Michaias, filho de Zacchur, filho d'Asaph,
36 and his brethren—Shemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God, —with Ezra the scribe before them;
E seus irmãos, Semaias, e Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanael, e Judah, e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicos de David, homem de Deus; e Esdras o escriba ia adiante d'elles.
37 and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, —above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
Indo assim para a porta da fonte, e defronte d'elles, subiram as escadas da cidade de David pela subida do muro, desde cima da casa de David, até á porta das aguas, da banda do oriente.
38 And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it, —with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;
E o coro segundo ia defronte, e eu após elle; e a metade do povo ia sobre o muro, desde a torre dos fornos, até á muralha larga;
39 and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate, —and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.
E desde a porta d'Ephraim, e para a porta velha, e para a porta do peixe, e a torre d'Hananeel, e a torre de Mea, até á porta do gado; e pararam á porta da prisão.
40 So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God, —and I, and half the deputies with me;
Então ambos os coros pararam na casa de Deus; como tambem eu, e a metade dos magistrados comigo.
41 and, the priests—Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
E os sacerdotes Eliakim, Maaseias, Miniamin, Michaias, Elioenai, Zacharias, e Hananias, com trombetas,
42 and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer, —and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.
Como tambem, Maaseias, e Semaias, e Eleazar, e Uzzi, e Johanan, e Malchias, e Elam, e Ezer; e faziam-se ouvir os cantores, juntamente com Jezrahias, o superintendente.
43 And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced, —so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
E sacrificaram no mesmo dia grandes sacrificios, e se alegraram; porque Deus os alegrara com grande alegria; e até as mulheres e os meninos se alegraram, que a alegria de Jerusalem se ouviu até de longe.
44 And there were set in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites, —for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.
Tambem no mesmo dia se nomearam homens sobre as camaras, para os thesouros, para as offertas alçadas, para as primicias, e para os dizimos, para ajuntarem n'ellas, das terras das cidades, as partes da lei para os sacerdotes e para os levitas; porque Judah estava alegre por causa dos sacerdotes e dos levitas que assistiam ali.
45 So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the doorkeepers, —according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
E faziam a guarda do seu Deus, e a guarda da purificação; como tambem os cantores e porteiros, conforme ao mandado de David e de seu filho Salomão.
46 For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.
Porque já nos dias de David e Asaph, desde a antiguidade, havia cabeças dos cantores, e dos canticos de louvores, e d'acção de graças a Deus
47 Now, all Israel—in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, used to give the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, the need of a day upon its day, —and they hallowed them unto the Levites, and, the Levites, hallowed them unto the sons of Aaron.
Pelo que todo o Israel, já nos dias de Zorobabel, nos dias de Nehemias, dava as partes dos cantores e dos porteiros a cada um no seu dia; e sanctificavam as porções aos levitas, e os levitas sanctificavam aos filhos d'Aarão.
