E dekọtara aha ndịisi ezinaụlọ ndị Livayị niile nʼụbọchị Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan na Jadua, nakwa nke ndị nchụaja nʼakwụkwọ nʼoge ọchịchị Daraiọs bụ eze Peshịa.
23 the sons of Levi, ancestral heads, were written in the book of Chronicles, —even until the days of Johanan, son of Eliashib.
E dekwara aha ndịisi ndị Livayị niile nʼakwụkwọ tutu ruo nʼoge Johanan nwa Eliashib dị ndụ.
24 And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise—to give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God, —ward joined to ward.
Ndị a bụ ndịisi ndị Livayị nʼoge ahụ: Hashabaya, Sherebaya, Jeshua, nwa Kadmiel na ndị otu ha. Ha kere onwe ha ụzọ abụọ. Ụzọ abụọ ndị a na-eguzokwa na-eche ibe ha ihu mgbe ọbụla ha na-abụku Chineke abụ otuto na ekele. Otu ụzọ na-amalite nke ọzọ azaghachi, dịka Devid onye nke Chineke si nye ya nʼiwu.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.
Ndị nche na-eche ọnụ ụzọ ụlọ ịchịkọba ihe nke ụlọnsọ bụ ndị a: Matanaya, Bakbukaya, Ọbadaya, Meshulam, Talmon na Akub.
26 These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, —and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.
Ha jere ozi ha nʼoge Joiakim nwa Jeshua, nwa Jozadak, dị ndụ, na nʼoge Nehemaya bụ onyeisi ọchịchị, na nʼoge Ezra bụkwa onye nchụaja, na onye nkuzi okwu Chineke.
27 And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, —to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
Mgbe a na-edo mgbidi Jerusalem ọhụrụ ahụ nsọ, e sitere nʼobodo niile ndị Livayị bi kpọọ ha ka ha bịa nye aka iji ọṅụ mee mmemme ido nsọ ahụ. Ha bịakwara jiri abụ ekele na ihe egwu dị iche iche dịka ụbọ akwara, ịgba na une kelee Chineke.
28 So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, —both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;
Ndị ọbụ abụ sitekwara nʼobodo niile dị gburugburu Jerusalem bịa, ọ bụladị site nʼobodo niile ndị Netofa,
29 also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth, —for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.
na Bet-Gilgal, na akụkụ Geba na Azmavet, nʼihi na ha ewuorola onwe ha obodo nta dị iche iche gburugburu Jerusalem.
30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, —and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Mgbe ndị nchụaja na ndị Livayị dochara onwe ha ọcha, ha dokwara ndị Izrel niile, na ọnụ ụzọ ama niile, na mgbidi ahụ ọcha.
31 Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall, —and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;
E mere m ka ndị ndu Juda niile rigoro nʼelu mgbidi ahụ. Nʼebe ahụ ka m kenyere otu ndị ọbụ abụ abụọ inye ekele. Otu ụzọ gara akụkụ aka nri nke elu mgbidi ahụ ruo nʼỌnụ Ụzọ Ama Ikpofu Ahịhịa.
32 and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;
Hoshaya na ọkara ndị ndu Juda na-eso ha nʼazụ,
33 then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;
ha na Azaraya, Ezra, Meshulam,
34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
Juda, Benjamin, Shemaya, Jeremaya
35 and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariah—son of Jonathan—son of Shemaiah—son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;
na ndị nchụaja ndị a ndị na-afụ opi, tinyere Zekaraya nwa Jonatan, nwa Shemaya. Ndị bụ nna nna Zekaraya bụ Matanaya, Mikaya na Zakua, ndị ikwu Asaf.
36 and his brethren—Shemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God, —with Ezra the scribe before them;
Ndị otu ya, bụ Shemaya, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netanel, Juda na Hanani. Ha niile ji ngwa egwu ha, ụdị ngwa egwu ndị ahụ Devid onye nke Chineke nyere nʼiwu na ndị ọbụ abụ ga-eji. Ezra, bụ ode akwụkwọ nọ nʼihu na-edu ha.
37 and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, —above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
Mgbe ha rutere nʼỌnụ Ụzọ ama Isi Iyi, ha rigooro nʼelu nkwasa nrigo ụlọ elu e si abata nʼobodo Devid, si ebe ahụ gafee ụlọeze Devid, gaakwa lọghachi nʼỌnụ Ụzọ Ama Mmiri, nke dị nʼakụkụ ọwụwa anyanwụ obodo ahụ.
38 And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it, —with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;
Ndị ọbụ abụ nke ọzọ bụ ndị na-enye ekele gara ụzọ aka ekpe. Mụ onwe m sooro ha nʼelu mgbidi ahụ, tinyere ọkara ndị mmadụ ahụ, gafee Ụlọ elu Ite Ọkụ jeruo Mgbidi Sara Mbara.
39 and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate, —and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.
Anyị sitekwara nʼebe ahụ gafee Ọnụ Ụzọ Ama Ifrem, Ọnụ Ụzọ ama Jeshana, Ọnụ Ụzọ Ama Azụ, Ọnụ Ụzọ Ama Ụlọ Elu Hananel, ruokwa nʼỌnụ Ụzọ Ama Ụlọ Elu Narị na ruo nʼỌnụ Ụzọ Ama Atụrụ, kwụsị nʼỌnụ Ụzọ Ama Ndị Nche.
40 So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God, —and I, and half the deputies with me;
Ya mere, ụzọ ndị mmadụ abụọ na-abụ abụ ekele nye Chineke zukọtara bata nʼụlọnsọ ukwu. Esokwa m ha bata, mụ na ọkara ndị ndu,
41 and, the priests—Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
tinyere ndị nchụaja ndị a: Eliakịm, Maaseia, Miniamin, Mikaya, Elioenai, Zekaraya na Hananaya. Ndị a niile ji opi ha.
42 and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer, —and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.
Ndị ọzọ sokwa bata bụ ndị a: Maaseia, Shemaya, Elieza, Uzi, Jehohanan, Malkija, Elam na Eza. Onyendu ndị ọbụ abụ ahụ niile bụ Jezrahaya.
43 And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced, —so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
Ha chụrụ ọtụtụ aja nʼụbọchị ahụ nʼihi na Chineke nyere ha oke ọṅụ. Ụmụnta na ndị inyom sokwa ṅụrịa ọṅụ. Ha nụkwara ụda ọṅụ ndị Jerusalem site nʼebe dị anya.
44 And there were set in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites, —for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.
Nʼoge ahụ ka a họpụtara ndị ikom na-elekọta ụlọ ịchịkọba ihe, ebe a na-achịkọba onyinye mkpụrụ mbụ, na onyinye otu ụzọ nʼụzọ iri. A na-esite nʼobodo gbara Jerusalem gburugburu na-ewebata nʼụlọ ịchịkọba ihe onyinye niile e nyere nʼiwu maka ọdịmma ndị nchụaja na ndị Livayị. E si otu a na-ewebata ya nʼihi na ọrụ ndị nchụaja na ndị Livayị na-arụ na-atọ ndị Juda ụtọ nke ukwuu.
45 So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the doorkeepers, —according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
46 For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.
Ọ bụ nʼoge Devid na Asaf ka e bidoro inwe ndị ndu abụ ito na ikele Chineke.
47 Now, all Israel—in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, used to give the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, the need of a day upon its day, —and they hallowed them unto the Levites, and, the Levites, hallowed them unto the sons of Aaron.
