“Ndị ọzọ fọdụrụ bụ ndị nchụaja, ndị Livayị, ndị nche, ndị ọbụ abụ, ndị na-eje ozi nʼụlọnsọ na ndị ahụ niile sitere nʼirube isi nʼiwu Chineke wezuga onwe ha site nʼebe ndị mba ọzọ ahụ bi ha gburugburu nọ, ha na ndị nwunye ha na ụmụ ha ndị ikom na ndị inyom, bụ ndị niile tozuru ịghọta ihe.
29 were holding fast unto their distinguished brethren, and were entering into a curse and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given through Moses the servant of God, —and to observe and do, all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his regulations, and his statutes;
Ndị a niile sooro ụmụnne ha ndị Izrel a na-asọpụrụ, jikọtaa onwe ha nʼọbụbụ ọnụ na ịṅụ iyi ịgbaso iwu Chineke, nke o nyere site nʼaka Mosis, bụ ohu Chineke; na ilezi anya rube isi nʼihe niile enyere nʼiwu, ntụziaka niile na ụkpụrụ niile nke Onyenwe anyị bụ Onyenwe anyị.
30 and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, —and, their daughters, would we not take for our sons;
“Anyị kpebikwara na ụmụ anyị ndị ikom na ndị inyom agaghị alụ di maọbụ nwunye site na mba ọzọ.
31 and, if the peoples of the land should be bringing in wares, or any corn on the sabbath day, to sell, we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day, —and that we would remit the seventh year, and the loan of every hand.
“Anyị kpebikwara na ọ bụrụ na ndị mba ọzọ eburu ngwa ahịa ha maọbụ mkpụrụ ubi ha bịa ire ya nʼụbọchị izuike, maọbụ nʼụbọchị ọzọ dị nsọ, anyị agaghị azụ ihe ọbụla. Anyị na-ekpebikwa na anyị agaghị arụ ọrụ ọbụla nʼafọ nke asaa niile, kwekọọkwa na anyị ga-agbaghara ụmụnna anyị niile ji anyị ụgwọ nʼafọ ahụ.
32 And we laid on ourselves charges, appointing for ourselves the third of a shekel, yearly, —for the service of the house of our God:
“Anyị kwekọrịtakwara na anyị ga-atụ ụtụ otu ụzọ nʼime ụzọ atọ nke otu shekel afọ niile maka iji kwadoo ọrụ ụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke,
33 for the bread to set in array, and the continual meal-offering, and for the continual ascending-sacrifice, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the appointed feasts, and for things hallowed, and for victims bearing sin, to put a propitiatory-covering over Israel, —and for all the work of the house of our God.
maka ime ka ihe ndị a dịrị nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ: achịcha nsọ, onyinye ọka nke ụbọchị niile, aja nsure ọkụ na onyinye nke ụbọchị izuike, mmemme ọnwa ọhụrụ niile, ha na mmemme ndị ọzọ niile a kara aka, maka aja dị nsọ niile na aja ikpuchi mmehie ndị Izrel, maka ozi niile a na-aga nʼụlọnsọ Chineke anyị.
34 Also, lots, did we cast, concerning the offering of wood among the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring it unto the house of our God, by our ancestral houses, at times arranged, year by year, —to burn upon the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.
“Anyị bụ ndị nchụaja, ndị Livayị na ndị ọzọ, ejirila ife nza chọpụta mgbe ezinaụlọ ọbụla nʼetiti anyị ga-eji bubata nku nʼụlọ Chineke anyị nʼoge ya kwa afọ, maka ebe ịchụ aja nke Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị dịka e dere ya nʼiwu.
35 And that we would bring in the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruit of all fruit of all trees, year by year, —unto the house of Yahweh;
“Anyị kpebikwara na mmadụ niile nʼotu nʼotu ga na-ewebata mkpụrụ mbụ nke ihe ubi ya nʼụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, na mkpụrụ osisi ọbụla, maọbụ ihe ubi ndị ọzọ.
36 also that, the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, —and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, we would bring in unto the house of our God, unto the priests who should be in attendance in the house of our God;
“Dịka e dere ya nʼIwu, anyị ga-ewebata ụmụ ndị ikom mbụ anyị, na nwa mbụ nke igwe ehi, na igwe ewu na atụrụ anyị niile, nʼụlọ Chineke anyị. A ga-enye ha ndị nchụaja na-eje ozi nʼebe ahụ.
37 and, the first part of our meal and our heave-offerings and the fruit of all trees, new wine and oil, would we bring in unto the priests, into the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground unto the Levites, —the Levites themselves, taking the tithes in all our cities of agriculture.
“Karịsịa, anyị ga-ewebata nʼụlọ ịchịkọba ihe nke ụlọnsọ Chineke anyị, nyekwa ha ndị nchụaja, ụtụ ọka mbụ anyị kwọrọ, ya na onyinye ndị ọzọ nke mkpụrụ ubi mbụ anyị, dịka mmanya vaịnị mbụ, mmanụ oliv mbụ na mkpụrụ osisi ndị ọzọ. Anyị kpebikwara inye ndị Livayị otu ụzọ nʼime ụzọ iri nke ihe niile anyị nwetara nʼubi anyị, nʼihi na ọ bụ ọrụ ndị Livayị ịnakọta otu ụzọ nʼụzọ iri site nʼobodo niile ebe anyị na-arụ ọrụ.
38 And the priest the son of Aaron should be with the Levites, when the Levites should take the tithes, —and the Levites, should bring up the tithe of the tithe, unto the house of our God, into the chambers pertaining unto the treasure-house.
Ndị nchụaja bụ ụmụ ụmụ Erọn ga-eso ndị Livayị mgbe ha na-anakọta onyinye otu ụzọ nʼime ụzọ iri ndị a. Ha ga-ewekọta ihe ndị a niile webaa ha nʼụlọ Chineke anyị, ruo nʼime ọnụụlọ ịchịkọba ihe, nke ụlọakụ.
39 For, into the chambers, should the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi bring in the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine and the oil, since, there, are the utensils of the sanctuary, and the priests who are in attendance, and the doorkeepers, and the singers, —so would we not neglect the house of our God.
Ndị Izrel na ndị Livayị, kwesiri iweta onyinye ọka ha, na mmanya vaịnị ọhụrụ, na mmanụ oliv nʼime ụlọ ịchịkọba ihe, nʼebe a na-edebe ngwongwo niile e ji eje ozi nʼụlọ ukwu ahụ, nke ndị nchụaja na-eje ozi, ndị nche na nke ndị ọbụ abụ. “Anyị agaghị agbakụtakwa ụlọ Chineke anyị azụ.”
