Micah 6
1 Hear, I pray you, what, Yahweh, is saying, —arise thou, maintain thy controversy before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice: —
Ακούσατε τώρα ό, τι λέγει ο Κύριος Σηκώθητι, διαδικάσθητι έμπροσθεν των ορέων, και ας ακούσωσιν οι βουνοί την φωνήν σου.
2 Hear, ye mountains, the controversy of Yahweh, and ye lasting rocks, the foundations of the earth, —for, a controversy, hath Yahweh, with his people, and, with Israel, will he dispute.
Ακούσατε, όρη, την κρίσιν του Κυρίου, και σεις, τα ισχυρά θεμέλια της γης διότι ο Κύριος έχει κρίσιν μετά του λαού αυτού και θέλει διαδικασθή μετά του Ισραήλ.
3 O my people! what have I done to thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? Testify thou against me!
Λαέ μου, τι σοι έκαμα; και εις τι σε παρηνώχλησα; μαρτύρησον κατ' εμού.
4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and, out of the house of slaves, I ransomed thee, —and I sent before thee, Moses, Aaron and Miriam.
Διότι σε ανεβίβασα εκ γης Αιγύπτου και σε ελύτρωσα εξ οίκου δουλείας και εξαπέστειλα έμπροσθέν σου τον Μωϋσήν, τον Ααρών και την Μαριάμ.
5 O my people! remember, I pray you, what Balak king of Moab, counseled, and what Balaam son of Beor, answered him, —from the Acacias as far as Gilgal, that ye may know the righteousness of Yahweh.
Λαέ μου, ενθυμήθητι τώρα τι εβουλεύθη Βαλάκ ο βασιλεύς του Μωάβ και τι απεκρίθη προς αυτόν Βαλαάμ ο του Βεώρ από Σιττείμ έως Γαλγάλων, διά να γνωρίσητε την δικαιοσύνην του Κυρίου.
6 Wherewith, shall I come before Yahweh? bow myself to God on high? Shall I come before him with ascending-sacrifice? with calves of a year old?
Με τι θέλω ελθεί ενώπιον του Κυρίου, να προσκυνήσω ενώπιον του υψίστου Θεού; θέλω ελθεί ενώπιον αυτού με ολοκαυτώματα, με μόσχους ενιαυσίους;
7 Will Yahweh, be pleased, with thousands of rams? with myriads of torrents of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression? the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Θέλει ευαρεστηθή ο Κύριος εις χιλιάδας κριών ή εις μυριάδας ποταμών ελαίου; θέλω δώσει τον πρωτότοκόν μου διά την παράβασίν μου, τον καρπόν της κοιλίας μου διά την αμαρτίαν της ψυχής μου;
8 He hath told thee, O son of earth, what is good, —what then is, Yahweh, seeking of thee, but, to do justice, to delight in lovingkindness, and humbly to walk with thy God?
Αυτός σοι έδειξεν, άνθρωπε, τι το καλόν και τι ζητεί ο Κύριος παρά σου, ειμή να πράττης το δίκαιον και να αγαπάς έλεος και να περιπατής ταπεινώς μετά του Θεού σου;
9 The voice of Yahweh, to the city, crieth out, With safety for him who regardeth his name, —Hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
Η φωνή του Κυρίου κράζει προς την πόλιν, και η σοφία θέλει φοβείσθαι το όνομά σου· ακούσατε την ράβδον και τις διώρισεν αυτήν.
10 Even yet, are there, in the house of the lawless one, the treasures of lawlessness, —and the scant measure—accurst?
Υπάρχουσιν έτι οι θησαυροί της ασεβείας εν τω οίκω του ασεβούς και το ελλιπές μέτρον το βδελυκτόν;
11 Shall I be pure with lawless balances? or with bag of deceitful weights?
να δικαιώσω αυτούς με τας ασεβείς πλάστιγγας και με το σακκίον των δολίων ζυγίων;
12 For, her rich men, are full of violence, and, her inhabitants, have spoken falsehood, —and, their tongue, is deceitful in their mouth.
Διότι οι πλούσιοι αυτής είναι πλήρεις αδικίας, και οι κάτοικοι αυτής ελάλησαν ψεύδη, και η γλώσσα αυτών είναι απατηλή εν τω στόματι αυτών.
13 Moreover also, I, have made thee sick with smiting thee, —laying thee waste because of thy sins.
Και εγώ λοιπόν πατάξας θέλω σε αδυνατίσει, θέλω σε ερημώσει εξ αιτίας των αμαρτιών σου.
14 Thou, shalt eat—and not be satisfied, but be shrunk with hunger within thee, —Though thou remove, yet shalt thou not set in safety, and, what thou dost set in safety, to the sword, will I deliver.
Συ θέλεις τρώγει και δεν θέλεις χορτάζεσθαι, και η πείνά σου θέλει είσθαι εν μέσω σου και θέλεις φύγει αλλά δεν θέλεις διασώσει, και ό, τι διέσωσας, θέλω παραδώσει εις την ρομφαίαν.
15 Thou, shalt sow, but shalt not reap, —thou, shalt tread the olive, but shalt not anoint thee with oil, also the grape, but shalt not drink the wine.
Συ θέλεις σπείρει και δεν θέλεις θερίσει συ θέλεις πιέσει ελαίας και δεν θέλεις αλειφθή με έλαιον, και γλεύκος και δεν θέλεις πίει οίνον.
16 For strictly observed are the statutes of Omri, and every doing of the house of Ahab, and ye have walked in their counsels, —to the end I may give thee up to desolation, and her inhabitants to hissing, that, the reproach of peoples, ye may bear.
Διότι εφυλάχθησαν τα διατάγματα του Αμρί και πάντα τα έργα του οίκου του Αχαάβ και επορεύθητε εν ταις βουλαίς αυτών διά να σε παραδώσω εις αφανισμόν και τους κατοίκους αυτής εις συριγμόν και θέλετε βαστάσει το όνειδος του λαού μου.
