Micah 3
1 Then said I, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and ye judges of the house of Israel, —Is it not yours to know justice?
C'est pourquoi j'ai dit: Ecoutez maintenant, Chefs de Jacob, et vous Conducteurs de la maison d'Israël: N'est ce point à vous de connaître ce qui est juste?
2 Ye haters of right, and lovers of wrong, —tearing away their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
Ils haïssent le bien, et aiment le mal; ils ravissent la peau de ces gens-ci de dessus eux, et leur chair de dessus leurs os.
3 Who indeed have eaten the flesh of my people, and, their skin from off them, have stript, and, their bones, have they broken in pieces, —and will spread them out, as flesh with a fork, and as flesh, in the midst of a pot.
Et ce qu'ils mangent; c'est la chair de mon peuple, et ils ont écorché leur peau de dessus eux, et ont cassé leurs os, et les ont mis par pièces comme dans un pot, et comme de la chair dans une chaudière.
4 Then, shall they make outcry unto Yahweh, but he will not answer them, —that he may hide his face from them, at that time, even as they have made wicked their doings.
Alors ils crieront à l'Eternel, mais il ne les exaucera point, et il cachera sa face d'eux en ce temps-là, selon qu'ils se sont mal conduits dans leurs actions.
5 Thus, saith Yahweh, concerning the prophets who are leading astray my people, —who bite with their teeth, and then cry—Prosper! and whoso holdeth not to their mouth, they hallow against him a war!
Ainsi a dit l'Eternel contre les Prophètes qui font égarer mon peuple, qui mordent de leurs dents, et qui crient: Paix! et si quelqu'un ne leur donne rien dans leur bouche, ils publient la guerre contre lui.
6 Therefore, shall it be night to you, for lack of vision, and darkness to you, for lack of divination, —and the sun, shall go in, over the prophets, and the day, shall be overcast because of them;
C'est pourquoi la nuit sera sur vous, afin que vous n'ayez point de vision; et elle s'obscurcira, afin que vous ne deviniez point; le soleil se couchera sur ces Prophètes-là, et le jour leur sera ténébreux.
7 And the men of vision, shall turn pale, and the diviners, shall blush, and shall put a covering upon their lip, all of them, —because there is no answer of God.
Et [les] voyants seront honteux, et les devins rougiront de honte; eux tous se couvriront sur la lèvre de dessus, parce qu'il n'y aura aucune réponse de Dieu.
8 But, in very deed, I, am full of vigour, with the spirit of Yahweh, and of justice and of valour, —to declare to Jacob, his transgression, and to Israel, his sin.
Mais moi, je suis rempli de force, et de jugement, et de courage, par l'Esprit de l'Eternel, pour déclarer à Jacob son crime, et à Israël son péché.
9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and ye judges of the house of Israel, —who abhor justice, and, all right, do pervert:
Ecoutez maintenant ceci, Chefs de la maison de Jacob, et vous Conducteurs de la maison d'Israël, qui avez le jugement en abomination, et qui pervertissez tout ce qui est juste.
10 Building Zion, with deeds of blood, —and Jerusalem, with perversity.
On bâtit Sion de sang, et Jérusalem d'injustices.
11 Her heads, for a bribe, pronounce sentence, and, her priests, for a price, give direction, and, her prophets, for silver, divine, —yet, on Yahweh, they lean, saying, Is not, Yahweh, in our midst? there shall not come upon us, calamity.
Ses Chefs jugent pour des présents, ses Sacrificateurs enseignent pour le salaire, et ses prophètes devinent pour de l'argent, puis ils s'appuient sur l'Eternel, en disant: L'Eternel n'est-il pas parmi nous? Il ne viendra point de mal sur nous.
12 Wherefore, for your sake, Zion, as a field, shall be ploughed, and, Jerusalem, unto heaps of ruins, shall be turned, —and, the mountain of the house, shall [be] like mounds in a jungle.
C'est pourquoi à cause de vous, Sion sera labourée [comme] un champ, et Jérusalem sera réduite en monceaux [de pierres], et la montagne du Temple en hauts lieux de forêt.
