Micah 1
1 The word of Yahweh which came unto Micah the Morashtite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, —of which he had vision concerning Samaria, and Jerusalem: —
Palabra de Yahvé que vino a Miqueas de Morashet en los días de Jotam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá, que vio sobre Samaria y Jerusalén.
2 Hear ye peoples, all of you, Hearken, O earth and the fulness thereof, —and let My Lord Yahweh be among you for a witness, My Lord out of his holy temple.
¡Oíd, pueblos, todos vosotros! Escucha, oh tierra, y todo lo que hay en ella. Que el Señor Yahvé sea testigo contra ti, al Señor de su santo templo.
3 For lo! Yahweh, coming forth out of his place, —that he may descend, and march along upon the high places of the earth.
Porque he aquí que Yahvé sale de su lugar, y bajará y pisará los lugares altos de la tierra.
4 Then shall the mountains be melted beneath him, and, the valleys, be cleft, —as wax before the fire, as waters poured out in a steep place.
Las montañas se derriten bajo él, y los valles se deshacen como la cera ante el fuego, como las aguas que se vierten por un lugar escarpado.
5 For the transgression of Jacob, is all this, and for the sin of the house of Israel, —Whose is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria’s? And whose is the sin of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
“Todo esto es por la desobediencia de Jacob, y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la desobediencia de Jacob? ¿No es Samaria? ¿Y cuáles son los lugares altos de Judá? ¿No son Jerusalén?
6 Therefore will I make of Samaria a heap in a field, the plantings in a vineyard, —and I will pour down, into the valley, her stones, and, her foundations, will I lay bare;
Por eso haré que Samaria sea como un montón de escombros del campo, como lugares para plantar viñedos; y derramaré sus piedras en el valle, y yo descubriré sus cimientos.
7 And, all her images, shall be beaten in pieces, and, all her rewards for unchastity, shall be burned in the fire, and, all her idols, will I make a desolation, —for, out of the reward of unchastity, she gathered [them], and, unto the reward of unchastity, shall they return.
Todos sus ídolos serán despedazados, todos sus regalos del templo serán quemados con fuego, y destruiré todas sus imágenes; pues del alquiler de una prostituta los ha reunido, y al alquiler de una prostituta volverán”.
8 For this cause, will I lament and howl, I will go stript and bare, —I will make a lamentation, like the wild dogs, and a mourning, like ostriches.
Por esto me lamentaré y lloraré. Iré despojado y desnudo. Aullaré como los chacales y llorar como los avestruces.
9 For dangerous are her wounds, —for she hath come as far as Judah, she hath reached as far as the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem.
Porque sus heridas son incurables; porque ha llegado incluso a Judá. Llega hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, incluso a Jerusalén.
10 In Gath, do not tell, in Accho, do not weep, —in Beth-l’aphrah, roll yourselves in dust.
No lo cuentes en Gat. No llores en absoluto. En Beth Ophrah me he revolcado en el polvo.
11 Pass thou over (for you), thou inhabitress of Shaphir, of disgraceful disclosure, —the inhabitress of Zaanan, hath not gone forth, at the lamentation of Beth-ezel, shall he take from you his station,
Pasa, habitante de Shaphir, en desnudez y vergüenza. El habitante de Zaanan no saldrá. El lamento de Beth Ezel te quitará su protección.
12 Though the inhabitress of Maroth waited for blessing, —yet there came down calamity from Yahweh, to the gate of Jerusalem.
Porque el habitante de Maroth espera ansiosamente el bien, porque el mal ha bajado de Yahvé a la puerta de Jerusalén.
13 Bind the chariot to the steed, O inhabitress of Lachish, —the beginning of sin, was she to the daughter of Zion, for, in thee, have been found the transgressions of Israel.
Engancha el carro al veloz corcel, habitante de Laquis. Fue el principio del pecado para la hija de Sión; porque las transgresiones de Israel fueron encontradas en ti.
14 Therefore, shalt thou give a dismission, against Moresheth-gath, —The houses of Achzib, served for a deception to the kings of Israel.
Por lo tanto, darás un regalo de despedida a Moresheth Gath. Las casas de Achzib serán un engaño para los reyes de Israel.
15 The time shall yet be when, the heir, I will bring unto thee, O inhabitress of Mareshah, —as far as Adullam, shall enter the glory of Israel.
Aún traeré un conquistador a ustedes, habitantes de Mareshah. La gloria de Israel llegará a Adulam.
16 Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair, for the children of thy pleasures, —enlarge thy baldness, like a vulture, for they are exiled from thee.
Aféitate la cabeza, y cortarte el pelo por los hijos de tu deleite. Agranda tu calvicie como el buitre, ¡porque han ido al cautiverio de ti!
