< Matthew 25 >
1 Then, will the kingdom of the heavens become like unto, ten virgins, who, taking their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Kangi lukumbi lwenulo, Unkosi wa kunani kwa Chapanga uwanangana na vakamwali kumi vevagegili hahi zavi, vevahambili kumlindila mkolo ndowa.
2 Now, five of them, were foolish, and, five, prudent.
Mhanu pagati yavi vavi vayimu na mhanu vangi vavi na luhala.
3 For, the foolish—though they took, their torches, took not with them, oil:
Vala vayimu vagegii hahi zavi, nambu vagegili lepi mahuta gangi gachibana.
4 But, the prudent, took oil in their vessels, with their torches.
Nambu vevavi na luhala vala vagegili mahuta muchupa na mu hahi zavi.
5 Now, the bridegroom, delaying, they all became drowsy, and were sleeping.
Ndava muni mkolo ndowa acheliwi kubwela, ndi vasikana vala vatumbwili kutitila na vakagona.
6 And, at midnight, an outcry hath been made—Lo! the bridegroom! Be going forth to meet him!
“Pagati ya kilu lwami luvaha lwayuwaniki, ‘Yumuka, mkolo ndowa ibwela mhamba mukampokela!’
7 Then, arose all those virgins, and trimmed their torches.
Kangi vakamwali vala voha vakayumuka, na kutendelekela hahi zavi.
8 And, the foolish, unto the prudent, said—Give us of your oil, because, our torches, are going out.
Vayimu vala vakavajovela vayavi vevavi na luhala, mutitangatila mahuta ginu padebe, ndava muni hahi zitu zijimika.
9 But the prudent, answered, saying—Lest once, by any means, there be not enough for us and you, be going rather unto them that sell, and buy for yourselves
Nambu vevavi na luhala vala vakavayangula, lepi, ‘Gikola lepi, nyenye na tete.’ ‘Mbanga mhamba kuliduka mukajigulila mwavene.’
10 But, as they were going away to buy, the bridegroom came; and, they who were ready, went in with him, into the marriage-feast, and, the door was locked.
Hinu, vakamwali vayimu vala, pevahambili kugula mahuta, mkolo ndowa ndi abwelili, vevajitendelekili vala vayingili munyumba ya ndowa pamonga nayu, kangi mlyangu wadindiwi.”
11 But, afterwards, came the other virgins also, saying—Lord! Lord! open unto us!
Mwanakandahi vakawuya vakamwali vangi vala, vakakemela “Mkulu, ‘Mkulu, tidindulila!’
12 And, he, answering, said—Verily, I say unto you, I know you not.
Nambu mkulu yula akavayangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, nakuvamanya nyenye.’”
13 Be watching, therefore, because ye know, neither the day nor the hour.
Kangi Yesu akavajovela, “Mujiyangalila! Ndava mwimanya lepi ligono amala lisaa yeibwela Mwana wa Mundu.”
14 For it is, just as a man, who, going from home, called his own servants, and delivered up to them his substance;
“Kangi Unkosi wa kunani kwa Chapanga uwanangana ngati mundu mmonga mweaganili kuhamba lugendu lwa kutali, avakemili vatumisi vaki na kuvagotolela vindu vyaki.
15 And, to one, indeed, gave he five talents, and, to another, two, and, to another, one, —to each according to his particular ability, and went from home.
Akavapela kila mundu ngati cheavi na uhotola waki, mmonga mahaku mhanu ga mashonga na yungi mahaku gavili ga mashonga na yungi talanta yimonga ya mashonga akahamba.
16 Straightway, he who, the five talents, had received, went and traded with them, and gained other five:
Yula mweagotoliwi talanta mhanu za mashonga, bahapo akazihengela lihengu na, kuziyonjokesa mahaku gangi mhanu.
17 Likewise, he of the two, gained other two:
Mewawa yungi mweagotoliwi mahaku gavili ga mashonga, akayonjokesa mahaku gangi gavili.
18 But, he who the one had received, went away, and digged up ground, and hid the silver of his lord.
Nambu mtumisi mweagotoliwi talanta yimonga ya lishonga akahamba kugimila pahi, kuyifiya mashonga ga mkulu waki.”
19 And, after a long time, cometh the lord of those servants, and reckoneth with them.
“Pagamaliki magono gamahele, mkulu yula awuyili na kutumbula kuvalanga vindu mashonga gaki pamonga nawu.
20 And he who the five talents had received, coming forward, brought other five talents, saying, —Lord! five talents, to me, thou didst deliver up: See! other five talents, I gained.
Yula mtumisi mweagotoliwi mahaku mhanu ga mashonga abwelili kuni agegili mahaku ga mashonga gangi mhanu, ndi akamjovela, ‘Mkulu, wanipeli talanta mashonga mhanu, hinu niyonjokisi talanta zingi mhanu zeniyonjokisi.’
21 His lord said unto him—Well-done! good and faithful servant, —Over a few things wast thou faithful, over many things, will I appoint thee: Enter into the joy of thy lord.
Mkulu waki, akamjovela ‘Uhengili chabwina, mtumisi msadikika na mbwina.’ Usadikiwi mu mambu gadebe yati nikugotolela mambu gavaha. Bwelayi uhekayi pamonga na mkulu waku!”
22 He also of the two talents, coming forward, said—Lord! two talents, to me, didst thou deliver up: See! other two talents, I gained.
“Kangi mtumisi yungi mweagotoliwi mahaku gavili ga mashonga, abwelili, na kujova, ‘Mkulu wanigotolili mahaku gavili ga mashonga, lola aga apa mahaku gangi gavili geayonjokisi.’
23 His lord said unto him—Well-done! good and faithful servant, —Over a few things, wast thou faithful, over many things, will I appoint thee: Enter into the joy of thy lord.
‘Mkulu waki akamjovela, chabwina, veve mtumisi msadikika na mbwina!’ ‘Ukitili chabwina mu mambu gadebe, yati nikugotolela mambu gavaha, bwelayi uhekayi pamonga na nene.’”
24 But he also who, the one talent, had received, coming forward, said—Lord I knew thee, that thou art a, hard, man, reaping, where thou hast not sown, —and gathering, whence thou hast not winnowed;
“Nambu yula mweagotoliwi talanta yimonga ya lishonga, abwelili akajova, ‘Mkulu nikumanyili veve wa mundu munonopo wibena pewangalima, na kutola pewangadandasa mbeyu.
25 And, overcome with fear, I went away, and hid thy talent in the ground: See! thou hast what is thine!
Ndi nayogwipi, nagimili pandima na kufiya lishonga laku. Hinu ndi utola yaku.’”
26 And his lord, answering, said unto him—O wicked servant, and cowardly, knewest thou that I reap, where I have not sown, and gather, whence I have not winnowed?
“‘Mkulu waki akamyangula veve mtumisi mhakau na mkata! Wimanya kuvya nene nibena panangagaba, na kuyola pala panangadandasa?’
27 It was binding on thee, therefore, to cast my silver into the money-changers, —and, I, when I, came, might have obtained what was mine, with interest.
Ndi yakuganili uvika mashonga gangu kwa vandu vevibadilisha na kuwusa mashonga, ndi nene nganitoli chiyonjokesu na mashonga gangu!
28 Therefore take away, from him, the talent, and give unto him that hath the ten talents;
Hinu mumnyaga mashonga genago, na mumpelayi yula mweavi na talanta kumi za mashonga.
29 For, to every one that hath, shall be given, and he shall be made to abound; but, from him that hath not, even what he hath, shall be taken away from him:
Ndava, mundu yeyoha mweavi na chindu yati ipewa na kuyonjokesewa. Nambu yula angali chindu, hati chidebe cheavili nachu yati inyagiwa.
30 And, the unprofitable servant, cast ye forth into the darkness, outside: There, shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Na mtumisi yula angali chiyonjokesu, mtaga kuvala kuchitita kwenuko ndi yati kuvya na luvembu na kuyaga minu.”
31 But, whensoever the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the messengers with him, then will he sit on his throne of glory;
“Lukumbi Mwana wa Mundu peibwela muukulu waki pamonga na vamitumu vaki va kunani kwa Chapanga, penapo yati itama panani ya chigoda cha unkosi chechivii na ukulu.
32 And there will be gathered before him, all the nations, and he will separate them one from another, just as, the shepherd! separateth the sheep from the goats, —
Vandu va milima yoha yati vikonganeka pamonga palongolo yaki. Mwene ndi akuvapangula vandu ngati mdimaji cheipangula mambelele na mene.
33 And he will set, the sheep, indeed, on his right hand, but, the goats, on the left.
Mwene yati ivika mambelele ndi vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga muchiwoko chaki cha kulyela na mene ndi vandu vahakau muchiwoko chaki cha kumangeya.”
34 Then, will the king say to those on his right hand: Come ye, the blessed of my Father! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
Kangi Nkosi akuvajovela vala vevavi upandi waki wa kulyela, mbwela, nyenye mwemumotisiwi na Dadi wangu! Mupokela unkosi wemuvikiwi kutumbula kuwumbwa kwa mulima.
35 For I hungered, and ye gave me to eat, I thirsted, and ye gave me drink, a stranger, was I, and ye took me home,
Muni penavi na njala mwanipeli chakulya, navi na njota mwanipeli manji, avi myehe mwanipokili panyumba yinu,
36 Naked, and ye clothed me, sick, and ye visited me, in prison, was I, and ye came unto me.
navi nangayatila mwaniwaliki, navi mtamu mwabweli kunilola, navi muchifungu mwanigendelili kunilola.
37 Then, will the righteous answer him, saying: Lord! when, saw we thee—hungry, and fed thee, or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
“Penapo vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga yati vakamyangula ‘Bambu, takuwene ndali njala yikuvina petakupeli chakulya, amala uvi na njota tete takupeli manji?
38 And, when, saw we thee—a stranger, and took thee home, or naked, and clothed thee?
Ndali takuwene wa myehe ndi tete takupokili, amala wavi changayatila takuwaliki?
39 And, when, saw we thee—sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Ndali patakuwene una utamu amala muchifungu tabweli kukulola?’
40 And, answering, the king will say unto them: Verily, I say unto you—Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my least brethren, unto me, ye did it.
Nkosi yati akuvayangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, chindu chochoha chamumhengili mmonga wa valongo vangu vadebe ava, mwanihengili nene.’”
41 Then, will he say unto those also, on his left hand: Depart ye from me, accursed ones! Into the age-abiding fire, which hath been prepared for the adversary and his messengers; (aiōnios )
“Kangi yati akuvajovela vala va upandi wa kumangeya, ‘Muwuka, palongolo yangu nyenye mwempewili likoto mhamba kumotu wangajimika wa magono goha gangali mwishu weutendelekiwi kwa Setani na vamitumu vaki. (aiōnios )
42 For I hungered, and ye gave me not to eat, [and] I was thirsty, and ye gave me not to drink,
Ndava njala peyanivili nyenye mwanipeli lepi chakulya, penavi na njota nyenye mwanipeli lepi manji.
43 A stranger, was I, and ye took me not home, naked, and ye clothed me not, sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Penavi myehe nyenye mwenipokili lepi, penavi changayatila nyenye mwaniwaliki lepi, penavi mtamu na penavi muchifungu nyenye mwabweli lepi kunilola.’”
44 Then, will, they also, answer, saying: Lord! when saw we thee—hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and ministered not unto thee?
“Penapo yati viyangula, ‘Bambu, ndali petakuwene njala yikuvina, amala uvi na njota amala myehe amala changayatila nyula amala mtamu amala muchifungu tete takuhengili lepi?’
45 Then, will he answer them, saying: Verily, I say unto you—Inasmuch as ye did it not, unto one of these least, neither unto me, did ye it.
Bambu yati iyangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, chindu chochoha chamwabeli kumuhengela, mmonga wa vadebe ava, ndi mwabeli kunihengela nene.’
46 And, these, shall go away, into, age-abiding, correction, but, the righteous, into, age-abiding, life. (aiōnios )
Hinu, venava yati vihamba kumbunu wa magono goha, nambu vala vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga yati vihamba kuwumi wa magono goha gangali mwishu.” (aiōnios )
