< Matthew 22 >

1 And, answering, Jesus, again, spake in parables unto them, saying: —
Ciise ayaa u jawaabay oo mar kale masaallo kula hadlay, oo wuxuu yidhi,
2 The kingdom of the heavens hath become like a man, a king, —who made a marriage-feast for his son;
Boqortooyada jannada waxay la mid tahay sidii boqor wiilkiisa aroos u dhigay.
3 And sent his servants, to call the invited into the marriage-feast, —and they would not come.
Addoommadiisii ayuu u diray inay u yeedhaan kuwa arooska loogu yeedhay, mana ay doonaynin inay yimaadaan.
4 Again, sent he other servants, saying—Say to the invited, Lo! my dinner, have I prepared, mine oxen and my fatlings, are slain, —and, all things, are, ready: Come ye into the marriage-feast.
Haddana addoommo kale ayuu diray oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Kuwii loo yeedhay waxaad ku tidhaahdaan, Bal eega, cuntadaydii waan diyaargareeyey, dibiyadaydii iyo neefafkaygii buurbuurnaana waa la qalay, wax walubana waa diyar, ee arooska kaalaya.
5 And, they, slighting it, went off, one, indeed, into his own field, and, another, unto his merchandise, —
Laakiin way fududaysteen, oo iska tageen, mid beertiisuu aaday, mid kalena wuxuu aaday baayacmushtarigiisii.
6 And, the rest, securing his servants, ill-treated and slew them.
Kuwii kalena addoommadiisii ayay qabteen, wayna caayeen oo dileen.
7 And, the king, was provoked to anger, —and, sending his armies, destroyed those murderers, and, their city, set on fire.
Laakiin boqorkii markuu maqlay wuu cadhooday, oo askartiisii buu u diray oo baabbi'iyey kuwaasoo dhiig qabay, magaaladoodiina wuu gubay.
8 Then, saith he unto his servants—The marriage, indeed, is ready, —but, the invited, were not, worthy;
Markaasuu addoommadiisii ku yidhi, Arooskii waa diyaar, kuwii loo yeedhayse ma ay istaahilin.
9 Be going, therefore, into the crossways of the roads, and, as many as ye shall find, call ye into the marriage-feast.
Haddaba taga meesha jidadka ku kala leexdaan, oo in alla intaad heshaan arooska ugu yeedha.
10 And those servants, going forth, into the roads, gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good, —and filled was the bride-chamber with guests.
Markaasaa addoommadaas jidadkay u baxeen, oo ay soo ururiyeen kuwii ay heleen oo dhan, kuwii sharka lahaa iyo kuwii wanaagsanaaba; gurigii arooskana waxaa laga buuxiyey marti.
11 But the king, entering to view the guests, saw there a man, who had not put on a wedding-garment, —
Laakiin boqorkii kolkuu soo galay inuu martida eego, wuxuu meesha ku arkay nin aan dharkii arooska qabin,
12 And saith unto him—Friend! how camest thou in here, not having a wedding-garment? And, he, was put to silence.
oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Saaxiibow, sidee baad halkan u soo gashay adigoo aan dharkii arooska qabin? Wuuna iska aamusay.
13 Then, the king said unto the ministers, Binding him feet and hands, cast him forth into the darkness, outside: There, shall be wafting and gnashing of teeth.
Markaasaa boqorkii wuxuu midiidinyadii ku yidhi, Lugaha iyo gacmaha ka xidha, oo gudcurka dibadda ah ku tuura; halkaas waxaa jiri doonta baroor iyo ilko jirriqsi.
14 For, many, are called, but, few, chosen.
Waayo, kuwo badan baa loo yeedhay, laakiin kuwo yar baa la doortay.
15 Then, went the Pharisees and took, counsel, that they might ensnare him, in discourse.
Markaasaa Farrisiintii baxeen, oo waxay ka wada hadleen si ay hadalkiisa ugu qabtaan.
16 And they sent forth to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher! we know that, true, thou art, and, the way of God, in truth, dost teach, and it concerneth thee not about anyone, —for thou lookest not unto the face of men:
Waxay xertoodii ula soo direen Herodosiinta, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Macallimow, waannu og nahay inaad run tahay, oo aad dadka jidka Ilaah run ku bartid, oo aanad ninna u eexan, waayo, dadka wejigooda ma eegtid.
17 Tell us then, how, to thee, it seemeth? Is it allowable to give tax unto Caesar, or not?
Haddaba noo sheeg waxay kula tahay, Ma xalaal baa in cashuur Kaysar la siiyo ama inaan la siin?
18 But Jesus, taking note of their wickedness, said—Why are ye tempting me, hypocrites?
Laakiin Ciise ayaa sharkoodii gartay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Maxaad ii jirrabaysaan, labawejiilayaal yahow?
19 Shew me the coin appointed for the tax. And, they, brought unto him a denary.
I tusa lacagta cashuurta. Kolkaasay u keeneen dinaar.
20 And he saith unto them—Whose, is this image and the inscription?
Wuxuu ku yidhi, Yaa leh masawirkan iyo qorniinkan?
21 They say—Caesar’s. Then, saith he unto them—Render, therefore, the things of Caesar, unto Caesar, —and, the things of God, unto God.
Waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Kaysar baa leh. Markaasuu ku yidhi, Haddaba Kaysar siiya wixii Kaysar leeyahay, Ilaahna siiya wixii Ilaah leeyahay.
22 And, hearing, they marvelled, —and, leaving him, departed.
Oo goortay taas maqleen, way yaabeen, wayna iska daayeen oo ka tageen.
23 On that day, there came unto him Sadducees, who say, there is, no resurrection—and they questioned him,
Maalintaas waxaa u yimid Sadukiin kuwii odhan jiray, Sarakicidda kuwii dhintay ma jirto. Oo waxay weyddiiyeen,
24 saying—Teacher! Moses, said, If any man die not having children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
oo ku yidhaahdeen, Macallimow, Muuse wuxuu yidhi, Haddii nin dhinto isagoo aan carruur lahayn, walaalkiis waa inuu naagtiisa dumaalo oo uu carruur walaalkiis u dhalo.
25 Now there were, with us, seven brethren; and, the first, marrying, died, and not having seed, left his wife unto his brother.
Waxaa nala jiray toddoba walaalo ah. Kii ugu horreeyey ayaa guursaday, wuuna dhintay, dhalna ma lahayn, wuxuuna naagtiisii uga tegey walaalkiis.
26 Likewise, the second also, and the third, —unto the seven.
Sidaas oo kalaa ku dhacday kii labaad, iyo kii saddexaad ilaa kii toddobaad.
27 And, last of all, died, the wife.
Markay wada dhinteen dabadeed naagtiina waa dhimatay.
28 In the resurrection, therefore, —Of which of the seven, shall she be wife? For, all, had her.
Haddaba wakhtiga sarakicidda kuwii dhintay toddobadoodii kee bay naagtiisii ahaan doontaa? Waayo, kulligood way wada guursadeen iyada.
29 And Jesus answering, said—Ye are deceiving yourselves, knowing neither the Scriptures, nor yet the power of God.
Laakiin Ciise ayaa u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Waad qaldan tihiin oo garan maysaan Qorniinka iyo xoogga Ilaah.
30 For, in the resurrection, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but, as messengers in the heaven, are they.
Waayo, wakhtiga sarakicidda kuwii dhintay dabadeed, layskuma guursado, guurna layskuma siiyo, laakiin waxay yihiin sida malaa'igaha Ilaah oo jannada ku jira.
31 But, as touching the resurrection of the dead—Have ye not read what was spoken unto you by God, saying—
Laakiin xagga sarakicidda kuwii dhintay miyaydnaan akhriyin wixii Ilaah idinkula hadlay, markuu yidhi,
32 I, am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?—He is not God, of the dead, but, of the living.
Anigu waxaan ahay Ilaaha Ibraahim iyo Ilaaha Isxaaq iyo Ilaaha Yacquub? Isagu ma aha Ilaaha kuwa dhintay, laakiin waa Ilaaha kuwa nool.
33 And, the multitudes, hearing, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.
Dadkii badnaa goortay taas maqleen ayay waxbariddiisii ka yaabeen.
34 Now, the Pharisees, hearing that he had silenced the Sadducees, were brought together with one accord;
Laakiin Farrisiintii goortay maqleen inuu Sadukiintii aamusiiyey ayay isu yimaadeen.
35 and one from among them, a lawyer, proposed a question, putting him to the test:
Oo midkood oo sharciga yaqaan ayaa wax weyddiiyey, isagoo jirrabaya, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
36 Teacher! which commandment, is greatest in the law?
Macallimow, qaynuunkee baa sharciga uga weyn?
37 And, he, said unto him—Thou shalt love the Lord thy God—with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind:
Kolkaasuu ku yidhi isaga, Waa inaad Rabbiga Ilaahaaga ah ka jeclaataa qalbigaaga oo dhan iyo naftaada oo dhan iyo caqligaaga oo dhan.
38 This, is the great and first commandment.
Kanu waa qaynuunka ugu weyn oo ugu horreeya.
39 The second, like it, is, this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Ku labaad oo u ekina waa kan. Waa inaad deriskaaga u jeclaataa sida naftaada.
40 In these two commandments, all the law, is contained, and the prophets.
Sharcigii oo dhan iyo nebiyadiiba waxay sudhan yihiin labadan qaynuun.
41 Now, the Pharisees having come together, Jesus questioned them, saying—
Kolkii Farrisiintii isu yimaadeen ayaa Ciise wax weyddiiyey,
42 How, to you, doth it seem, concerning the Christ? Whose son, is he? They say unto him—David’s.
oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Yuu idinla yahay Masiixu? Waa ina ayo? Kolkaasay ku yidhaahdeen, Waa ina Daa'uud.
43 He saith unto them—How then doth, David, in spirit, call him, Lord, saying—
Wuxuu ku yidhi, Haddaba Daa'uud sidee buu Ruuxa ugaga yeedhay Rabbi? isagoo leh,
44 The Lord, hath said unto, my Lord, —Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool?
Rabbigu wuxuu Sayidkayga ku yidhi, Midigtayda fadhiiso, Ilaa aan cadaawayaashaada cagahaaga hoostooda geliyo.
45 If then, David, calleth him, Lord, How, is he, his son?
Haddaba Daa'uud hadduu ugu yeedhay isaga Sayid, sidee buu wiilkiisa u yahay?
46 And, no one, was able to answer him a word, neither durst anyone, from that day, question him, any more.
Ninna hadal uguma jawaabi karin, oo maalintaas dabadeed ninna kuma dhicin inuu mar dambe wax weyddiiyo.
