< Matthew 17 >

1 And, after six days, Jesus taketh with him, Peter and James and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain, apart;
Choi din pichete Jisu tai logote Peter, James aru tai laga bhai John ke loise, aru taikhan nijor pora ekta untcha pahar uporte jaise.
2 and was transformed before them, —and his face shone as the sun, and, his garments, became white as the light.
Aru Jisu nijorke taikhan age te alag ekjon kori kene dikhaise. Tai laga chehera suryo nisena ujala dikhaise, aru Tai laga kapra khan puhor nisena boga hoi jaise.
3 And lo! there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, conversing with him.
Sabi, ta te taikhan logote Moses aru Elijah ulaikene Jisu logote kotha kori thakise.
4 And Peter, answering, said unto Jesus—Lord! it is, delightful, for us, to be here, —If thou wilt, I will make here three tents, for thee, one, and, for Moses, one, and, for Elijah, one.
Peter jowab dikene Jisu ke koise, “Probhu, amikhan yate thaka to bhal ase naki. Apuni itcha ase koile, Moi etu jagate aram kori bole chaat bonabo- ekta Apuni nimite, aru ekta Moses nimite, aru ekta Elijah nimite.”
5 While yet he was speaking, lo! a brightly shining cloud, overshadowed them, and lo! a voice, out of the cloud, saying—This, is, my Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight, —Be hearkening to him.
Jitia tai kotha kori thakise, sabi, ekta ujala badal taikhan ke bondh kori dise, aru etu badal pora ekta awaj ulaikena eneka koise, “Etu Moi laga bisi morom Putro ase, jun uporte moi bisi khushi ase. Tai laga kotha huni bhi.”
6 And, hearing it, the disciples fell upon their face, and were caused to fear exceedingly.
Jitia tinjon chela khan etu hunise, taikhan bisi bhoi kori kene matite girise aru nijor chehera mati phale saise.
7 And Jesus came near, and, touching them, said—Arise! and be not afraid.
Etu pichete Jisu ahise aru taikhan ke chui kene koise, “Uthibi aru bhoi na koribi.”
8 And, lifting up their eyes, no one, saw they, save Jesus, himself, alone.
Etu pichete taikhan suku uthaikene saise, kintu taikhan khali Jisu he nohoile dusra kunke bhi dikha nai.
9 And, as they were coming down out of the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying—Unto no one, may ye tell the vision, until the Son of Man, from among the dead shall arise.
Taikhan jitia pahar upor pora nami ahi thakise, Jisu taikhan ke hukum dise, eneka koi kene, “Etu laga sapna kunke bhi nakobi jitia tak Manu laga Putro mora pora arubi jinda nohoi jai.”
10 And the disciples questioned him, saying—Why then do, the Scribes, say, that, Elijah, must needs come, first?
Tai laga chela khan Taike eneka koi kene hudise, “Tenehoile kele kunba niyom likha manu khan Elijah he poila ahibo lage koi?”
11 And, he, answering, said—Elijah, indeed, cometh, and will restored all things;
Jisu taikhan ke jowab dikene koise, “Elijah hosa pora bhi ahibo aru sob to thik kori dibo.
12 But, I say unto you—that, Elijah, just now, came, —and they recognised him not, but did with him, whatsoever they pleased: Thus, the Son of Man also, is destined to suffer by them.
Kintu Moi tumikhan ke koi ase, Elijah to poila pora ahi jaise, kintu taikhan taike chini bole para nai. Ulta, tai uporte ki kori bole itcha thakise taikhan etu kori dise. Thik eneka he, Manu Laga Putro bhi taikhan laga hathte bisi dukh pabo.”
13 Then, perceived the disciples, that, concerning John the Immerser, he spake to them.
Titia he chela khan bujise Tai John Baptizma laga kotha taikhan ke kori thakise koi kene.
14 And, when they came unto the multitude, there approached him a man, falling on his knees to him,
Jitia taikhan manu joma hoi thaka jagate ahise, ekjon manu Tai usorte ahise, Tai age te athukari se,
15 and saying—Lord! have mercy upon my son, —because he is lunatic, and in a grievous condition; For, many times, falleth he into the fire, and, many times, into the water.
aru koise, “Probhu, moi laga chokra uporte daya koribi, kele koile tai pagla hoi kene ase, aru bisi dukh pai ase. Kilekoile tai khali jui uporte giri thake, aru khali panite ghusi thake.
16 And I brought him unto thy disciples, and they could not cure, him.
Moi taike Apuni laga chela khan usorte ani sele, kintu taikhan bhal kori bole para nai.”
17 And Jesus, answering, said—O faithless and perverted generation! How long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me, here.
Jisu jowab dikene koise, “Biswas nathaka aru biya jamana laga manu khan, aru kiman deri nimite Moi tumikhan logote thakibo lagibo? Kiman deri tumikhan ke dhorjo koribo? Taike Moi laga samne te anibi.”
18 And Jesus rebuked it; and the demon came out of him, —and cured was the boy, from that hour.
Jisu pora bhoot atma ke khedai dise, aru etu atma tai laga gaw pora ulai jaise, aru utu somoite etu chokra to bhal hoi jaise.
19 Then, the disciples, coming near, to Jesus, privately, said—Wherefore could, we, not cast it out?
Etu pichete Jisu laga chela khan lukai kene Taike koise, “Kile amikhan bhoot ke kheda bole para nai?”
20 And, he, saith unto them—Because of your little faith. For, verily, I say unto you—If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, remove hence yonder; and it shall be removed, and, nothing, shall be impossible to you.
Jisu taikhan ke koise, “Kile mane tumikhan laga biswas komti thaka nimite. Moi hosa pora tumikhan ke koi ase, jodi tumikhan sorso dana nisena hoilebi biswas thakile, tumikhan etu pahar ke kobo, ‘Yate pora hati kene ta te jabi,’ aru etu hati jabo, aru tumikhan nimite eku bhi napara kaam nohobo.
Kintu eitu khan sob to, prathana aru upwas pora nohoile dusra eku pora na paribo.”
22 And, as they were being gathered together in Galilee, Jesus said unto them—The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men;
Jitia taikhan Galilee te thakise, Jisu Tai laga chela khan ke koise, “Manu laga Putro ke manu khan laga hath di dibo,
23 And they will slay him, and, on the third day, will he, arise. And they were grieved exceedingly.
aru taikhan pora Taike morai dibo, aru tin dinte Taike mora pora uthai dibo.” Etu huni kene chela khan bisi mon dukh hoise.
24 And, when they came into Capernaum, they who, the half shekel, were receiving, came near unto Peter, and said, Your teacher, doth he not pay the half shekel?
Jitia taikhan Capernaum jagate punchise, ekjon manu jun dui taka chandi poisa utha manu Peter usorte ahise aru koise, “Apnikhan laga Shika manu to dui taka chandi poisa to diye na nai?”
25 He saith—Yea. And, coming into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, How, to thee, doth it seem, Simon? The kings of the earth, of whom receive they dues or tax? from their sons, or from the aliens?
Tai koise, “Hoi.” Jitia Peter ghor te ghusi loise, Jisu taike poila kotha korise, eneka koi kene, “Tumi ki bhabe, Simon? Kun logot pora prithibi laga raja khan poisa uthai? Taikhan laga bacha khan pora na dusra khan pora?”
26 And, when he said, From the aliens, Jesus said unto him, Well then, free, are the sons!
Jitia tai koise, “Dusra khan pora,” Jisu taike koise, “Tinehoile bacha khan nimite ene to eku daam nai.”
27 But, that we may not cause them to stumble, go unto the sea, and cast in a hook, and, the first fish that cometh up, take, and, opening its mouth, thou shalt find a shekel, —that, take, and give to them for me and thee.
Kintu amikhan nimite poisa utha manu ke paap koribo nadibo, etu nimite nodi te jabi, ekta maas dhura kata phelabi aru juntu maas ke poila pai etu ke loi kene anibi. Jitia tumi maas laga mukh khuli loi, ta te charta chandi pabo. Lobi aru jai kene poisa utha manu ke tumi aru Ami nimite bhi dibi.”
