< Matthew 15 >
1 Then, there come unto Jesus from Jerusalem Pharisees and Scribes, saying—
Achalyao Abhafarisayo na abandiki bhejile ku Yesu okusoka Yerusalemu. Na nibhaika ati,
2 Wherefore do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands, when they eat bread!
“Kubhaki abheigisibwa abhanyamula ebhilagilo bhya abhakaruka? Kulwokubha bhatakwisabha amabhoko gebhwe bhakabha nibhalya ebhilyo.”
3 But, he, answering, said unto them—Wherefore do, ye also, transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?
Yesu nabhasubhya nabhabhwila ati, “Emwe ona-kubhaki omunyamula echilagilo cho Omukama kulwa injuno ye emisilo jemwe?
4 For, God, said—Honour thy father and thy mother, and—He that revileth father or mother, let him, surely die!
Kulwokubha Nyamuanga aikile, 'Yana echibhalo esomwana na nyokomwana; na 'Unu kaika obhubhibhi kwe esemwene na nyilamwene, nichimali kafwa.'
5 But, ye, say—Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother—A gift! Whatsoever, out of me, thou mightest be profited,
Nawe emwe omwaika ati, 'Bhuli munu unu kabhwila esemwene na nyilamwene, '“Obhusakisi bwonebhwone bhunu akabhwene okusoka kwanye olyanu ni chiyanwa okusoka ku Nyamuanga.'”
6 in nowise, shall honour his father or his mother—and so ye have cancelled, the word of God, for the sake of your, tradition.
“Omunu nkoyo atali na ing'umbu yo okuyana echibhalo esemwene. Kuntungwa inu mwaguchulikile omusango gwa Nyamuanga kulwa injuno ye emisilo jemwe.
7 Hypocrites! well prophesied concerning you, Isaiah, saying—
Emwe bhanu omwikola okumenya, ni jekisi lwa kutyo Isaya alagile ingulu yemwe aikile,
8 This people, with the lips, do, honour, me, while, their heart, far off, holdeth from me;
'Abhanu bhanu abhanana echibhalo kulwe eminwa jebhwe, Nawe emyoyo jebhwe jilikula nanye.
9 But, in vain, do they pay devotions unto me, teaching, for teachings, the commandments of men.
Abhandamya kutiyo ela, kulwokubha abheigisha ameigisho ga ebhilagilo bhya abhana bhanu.'”
10 And, calling near the multitude, he said to them—Hear and understand!
Achalyao nabhilikila echise nabhabhwila, “Mtegeleshe na mumenye
11 Not that which entereth into the mouth, defileth the man, but, that which proceedeth out of the mouth, the same, defileth the man,
Chitalio echinu chinu echingila mkanwa cho omunu nichimukola mujabhi. Tali, chinu echisoka mkanwa, chinu nicho echikola omunu nabha mujabhi.”
12 Then, coming near, his disciples say unto him—Knowest thou, that the Pharisees, hearing the word, were caused to stumble?
Mbe nio ebheigisibhwa nibhamujako no okwaika na Yesu, “awe, Oumenya abhafarisayo bhejile bhongwa omusango guliya bhekujuye?”
13 And, he, answering, said—Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, will be uprooted:
Yesu nabhasubhya naika ati, “Bhuli liti linu Lata wani owamulwile atayambhile lilikulwa.
14 Let them alone! they are, blind leaders; and, if the, blind, lead the, blind, both, into a ditch, will fall.
Mubhasige bhenyele, abhene ni bhatangasha bhanu bhaumile. Omunu omuume akatangasha omuume wejabho, abhagwa mulyobho bhona bhabili.”
15 And Peter, answering, said unto him, Declare to us the parable.
Petro nasubhya namubhwila Yesu ati, “Nuchisombolele echijejekanyo chinu,
16 And, he, said, To this moment, are, ye also, without discernment?
Yesu nasubhya ati, “Emwona muchali okusombokelwa?
17 Perceive ye not that, every thing which entereth into the mouth, into the stomach, findeth way, and, into the draught, is passed;
Emwe mutakulola ati bhuli chinu echija mukanwa echilabha mulubhunda nokuja mucholoni?
18 while, the things which proceed out of the mouth, out of the heart, come forth, and, they, defile the man.
Nawe ebhinu bhyone bhinu ebhisoka mukanwa ebhisoka mumwoyo. Nibhyo ebhinu bhinu ebhimuyana omunu obhujabhi.
19 For, out of the heart, come forth wicked designs, —murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, profane speakings:
Kulwokubha mumwoyo agasokamo ameganilisho mabhibhi, obhwiti, obhulomesi, obhusharati, obhwiti, obhubhambasi bhwo olulimi, ne ebhifumi.
20 these, are the things which defile the man, but, the eating with unwashed hands, doth not defile the man.
Ganu nigo agayana omunu obhujabhi. Nawe okulya utesabhile amabhoko kutakukola omunu abhe mujabhi.
21 And, going forth from thence, Jesus retired into the parts of Tyre and Zidon.
Mbe nio Yesu nasoka mumbalama ejo nebheleleka okuja mmusi gwa Tiro na Sidoni.
22 And lo! a Canaanite woman, from those bounds, coming forth, began crying out, saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter, is miserably demonized.
Lola naja omugasi we Echikanani okusoka olupande olwo. Nalagilisha kwo obhulaka naika ati, “Nuumfwile chigongo, Lata bugenyi, Omwana wa Daudi; omuwasha wani kanyasibhwa muno na lisambwa”
23 But, he, answered her no a word. And his disciples, coming forward began requesting him, saying—Dismiss her, because she is crying out after us.
Nawe Yesu atamusubhishe musango. Abheigisibwa bhaye nibhaja no okumulembeleja, nibhaika ati, “Musoshe Anu ajeyo kaja, kunsonga kachiyoganila.”
24 But, he, answering, said, I was not sent forth, save unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Yesu nabhasubhya no okwaika ati, nitatumilwe ku omunu wonewone atali kunyabharega jinu jibhulile eja munyumba ya Israeli.”
25 And, she, coming, began bowing down to him, saying, Lord! help me.
Mbe nawe ejile nenama imbele yaye, naika ati, “Lata bugenyi nsakila.”
26 But, he, answering, said, It is, not seemly, to take the loaf of, the children, and cast, to the little dogs.
Namusubhya ati, “Jitali jakisi okugega ebhilyo bhya abhana no okulasila jimbwa.”
27 And, she, said, True, Lord! [for], even the little dogs, eat of the crumbs which are falling from the table of, their masters.
Naika ati, “Nichimali, Lata bugenyi, nolwo kutyo jimbwa jindela ejilyaga ebhilyo bhinu ebhilagala okusoka kumeja yo Omugabhisi wajo.”
28 Then, answering, Jesus said to her—O woman! great, is, thy faith! Be it, done, for thee, as thou desirest. And her daughter was healed, from that hour.
Nio Yesu namusubhya namubhwila ati “Mugasi awe, elikilisha lyao ni enene. Mbe jibhe kutyo kwawe lwakutyo owenda.” Mbe omuwasha waye aliga euliye mukatungu ako.
29 And, passing on from thence, Jesus came near the sea of Galilee, and, going up into the mountain, was sitting there.
Yesu nasoka ao aliga Ali nagenda yeyi na inyanja ya Galilaya. Namala nagenda ingulu ye echima neyanja eyo.
30 And there came unto him large multitudes, having with themselves the lame, the maimed, the blind, the dumb, and many others, —and they cast them near his feet, and he cured them;
Eyijo enene lya abhanu nilimwijako. Mbe nibhamusilila bhanu bhalemaye amagulu gone, abhaume, abhatita, abhalema nabha amalwaye abhandi bhafu. Nibhabhatula mumagulu ga Yesu mbe nabhaosha.
31 so that the multitude marvelled, seeing the dumb speaking, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, —and they glorified the God of Israel.
Mbe liijo lya abhanu abho nibhalugula bhejile bhalola abhatita nibhaika, na abhalema nibhaosibhwa, abhalema bha amagulu gona nibhalibhata, na abhaume nibhalola. Nibhamukuya Nyamuanga wa Israeli.
32 But, Jesus, calling near his disciples, said—My compassions are moved towards the multitude, because [even now], three days, abide they with me, and they have nothing to eat, —and, to dismiss them fasting, I am not willing, lest by any means they faint in the way.
Yesu nabhabhilikila abheigisibhwa bhaye nabhabhwila ati, “Nabhafwila chigongo abhanu bhanu, kulwokubha bhabheye amwi nanye kwa nsiku esatu obhutalya chinu chonachona. Nitabhasiga bhagende ewebhwe bhataliye, bhasiga kukabhila munjila.
33 And his disciples say unto him—Whence, to us, in a wilderness, loaves in such numbers as to fill a multitude, so great?
“Abheigisibhwa bhaye nibhamubhwila ati, Echibhona aki emikate ejokwigusya abhanu bhanu bhona?”
34 And Jesus saith unto them—How many, loaves have ye? And, they, said, —Seven, and a few small fishes.
Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Mna mikate elinga?” Nibhaika ati, “Musanju, ne ebhiswi bhitoto.”
35 And, sending word to the multitude to recline upon the ground,
Yesu nalagilila abhanu bheyanje ansi.
36 he took the seven loaves, and the fishes, and, giving thanks, brake, —and began giving to his disciples, and, the disciples, to the multitudes.
Nagega emikate ejokwiya Musanju na jinswi, na ejile akamala okusima, najibhega nabhayana abheigisibwa bhaye. Abheigisibwa nibhagabhila abhanu.
37 And they all did eat and were filled, —and, the remainder of the broken pieces, took they up, seven hampers, full.
Abhanu bhone nibhalya no okwiwa. Nibhasolosha bhinu bhyasigaye bhibhala bhibhala, nibhijula ebhibho musanju.
38 And, they who did eat, were four thousand men, besides women and children.
Bhona bhanu bhaliye bhaliga bhali abhalume bhiumbi bhina bhatabhalilwe abhagasi na abhana.
39 And, dismissing the multitudes, he went up into the boat, —and came into the bounds of Magadan.
Nio Yesu nalaga! iijo bhagende ewebhwe na omwene nengila mubhwato nagenda mumbalama ja Magadani.
