Matthew 13
1 On that day, Jesus, going out of the house, was sitting near the sea:
An jenem Tage aber ging Jesus hinaus aus dem Haufen, und setzte sich an den See.
2 and there were gathered unto him, large multitudes, so that, he, into a boat, entered, and was sitting, and, all the multitude, on the beach was standing.
Und es versammelten sich zu ihm viele Volkshaufen, so daß er in das Boot trat, und sich setzte, und alles Volk stand am Ufer.
3 And he spake unto them many things, in parables, saying: Lo! the sower went forth to sow, —
Und er redete vieles zu ihnen in Gleichnissen, und sprach: Siehe, es ging der Säemann aus, zu säen.
4 and, as he sowed, some, indeed, fell by the pathway, and, the birds, came, and devoured it;
Und indem er säete, fiel etliches an den Weg, und es kamen die Vögel, und fraßen es auf.
5 And, some, fell on the rocky places, where it had not much earth, —and, straightway, it sprang up, because if had no depth of earth;
Anderes fiel auf das Felsigte, wo es nicht viel Erde hatte, und ging bald auf, darum daß es nicht tiefe Erde hatte.
6 and, the sun arising, it was scorched, and, because it had no root, it withered away;
Als aber die Sonne aufging, ward es versengt, und weil es nicht Wurzeln hatte, verdorrte es.
7 And, some, fell upon the thorns, and the thorns came up, and choked it;
Anderes aber fiel auf die Dornen; und die Dornen schlossen auf und erstickten es.
8 But, some, fell upon the good ground, and did yield fruit, —this, indeed a hundred fold, and, that, sixty, and, the other, thirty.
Anderes aber fiel auf die gute Erde, und gab Frucht, das hunderfältig, das sechzigfältig, das dreißigfältig.
9 He that hath ears, let him hear.
Wer Ohren hat zu hören, der höre.
10 And the disciples, coming near, said to him, Wherefore, in parables, art thou speaking to them?
Und er kamen die Jünger herbei, und sagten zu ihm: Warum sprichst du in Gleichnissen zu ihnen?
11 And, he, answering, said, Because, unto you, hath it been given, to get to know the sacred secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, —whereas, unto them, hath it not been given.
Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Euch ist gegeben zu wissen die Gleichnisse der Himmelsherrschaft, jenen aber ist es nicht gegeben.
12 For, whosoever hath, it shall be given, to him, and he shall be made to abound, —but, whoever hath not, even what he hath, shall be taken from him?
Denn wer da hat, dem wird gegeben werden, und wird Überfluß haben; wer aber nicht hat, von dem wird auch, was er hat, genommen werden.
13 For this reason, in parables, unto them, do I speak, —because, seeing, they see not, and, hearing, they hear not, —neither do they understand.
Darum rede ich in Gleichnissen zu ihnen, weil sie sehend nicht sehen, und hörend nicht hören, noch verstehen.
14 And, again is being fulfilled in them, the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, —They shall, surely hear, and yet will not understand, and, surely see, and yet not perceive;
Und an ihnen wird erfüllt die Weissagung Jesaias, die da sagt: Mit dem Gehör werdet ihr hören, und doch nicht verstehen, und sehend werdet ihr sehen, und doch nicht wahrnehmen.
15 For the heart of this people hath become dense, and, with their ears, heavily have they heard, and, their eyes, have they closed, —lest, once they should see with their eyes, and, with their ears, should hear, and, with their hearts, should understand, and return; when I would certainly heal them.
Denn das Herz dieses Volkes ist verstockt, und an den Ohren sind sie schwerhörig geworden, und ihre Augen haben sie verschleiert, so daß sie mit den Augen nicht sehen, und mit den Ohren nicht hören, und mit dem Herzen nicht verstehen, und sich bekehren, und ich sie dann heilen würde.
16 But happy are, your, eyes, that they see, and your ears, that they hear;
Eure Augen aber sind selig, daß sie sehen, und eure Ohren, daß sie hören.
17 For, verily, I say unto you—Many prophets and righteous men, have coveted to see what ye see, and have not seen, and to hear what ye hear, and have not heard.
Denn, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Viele Propheten und Gerechte haben verlangt zu sehen, was ihr sehet, und haben es nicht geschaut, und zu hören, was ihr hört, und haben es nicht gehört.
18 Hear, ye, then, the parable of him that sowed: —
Ihr nun, höret das Gleichnis des Säemanns.
19 When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, the wicked one cometh, and catcheth up that which hath been sown in his heart, —this, is he, by the pathway, sown.
Bei jedem, der das Wort von der (Himmels) Herrschaft hört, und es nicht versteht, kommt der Böse, und raubt weg, was in seinem Herzen gesäet ist; dieser ist der an den Weg Gesäete.
20 And, he on the rocky places sown, the same, is he that, heareth the word, and, straightway, with joy, receiveth it;
Der auf das Felsigte Gesäete ist der, welcher das Wort hört, und es gleich mit Freuden aufnimmt,
21 yet hath he no root in himself, but is, only for a season, —and, there arising, tribulation or persecution because of the word, straightway, he findeth cause of stumbling.
Aber hat nicht Wurzel in sich, sondern ist unbeständig; wenn dann Trübsal, oder Verfolgung, um des Wortes willen kommt, so fällt er sogleich am Anstoß.
22 And, he among the thorns sown, the same, is he that, heareth the word, —and, the anxiety of the age and the deceit of riches, choke up the word, and, unfruitful, it becometh. (aiōn g165)
Der in die Dornen Gesäete aber ist, der das Wort hört, und die Sorge des Weltlaufs, und der Betrug des Reichtums erstickt das Wort, und es bleibt fruchtlos. (aiōn g165)
23 But, he on the good ground sown, the same, is he who doth hear and understand the word, who, indeed, beareth fruit and produceth, —this, a hundred, and, that, sixty, and, the other, thirty.
Der auf das gute Land Gesäete aber ist, der das Wort hört, und versteht, der bringt dann Frucht: hundertfältig, oder sechzigfältig, oder dreißigfältig.
24 Another parable, put he before them, saying—The kingdom of the heavens hath become like a man sowing good seed in his field;
Ein anderes Gleichnis legte er ihnen vor, und sagte: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich, wie wenn ein Mensch guten Samen auf seinen Acker säet.
25 and, while men were sleeping, his enemy came, and sowed over darnel, in among the wheat, —and away he went.
Als aber die Leute schliefen, kam sein Feind, und säete Lolch mitten unter den Weizen, und ging davon.
26 And, when the blade shot up, and brought forth, fruit, then, appeared, the darnel also.
Als aber die Saat aufsproßte, und Frucht trieb, da kam auch der Lolch zum Vorschein.
27 And the servants of the householder, coming near, said to him, —Sir! was it not, good seed, thou didst sow in thy field? Whence then hath it, darnel?
Da kamen die Knechte des Hausherrn zu ihm, und sagten: Herr, hast du nicht guten Samen gesäet auf deinem Acker? Woher nun hat er Lolch?
28 And he said unto them—An enemy, hath, done this. And they say, unto him—Wilt thou, then, that we go and collect it?
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ein feindseliger Mensch hat das getan. Die Diener aber sagten zu ihm: Willst du nun, daß wir hingehen, und ihn ausjäten?
29 And, he, saith—Nay! lest, at any time, while collecting the darnel, ye uproot, along with it, the wheat:
Er aber sprach: Nein, damit ihr nicht, wenn ihr den Lolch ausjätet, zugleich mit ihm den Weizen entwurzelt.
30 Suffer both to grow together until the harvest, and at, harvest time, I will say unto the reapers, —Collect ye first, the darnel, and bind it into bundles, with a view to the burning it up; but, the wheat, be gathering it into my barn.
Lasset beides miteinander wachsen bis zur Ernte! Und zur Zeit der Ernte werde ich zu den Schnittern sagen: Sammelt zuerst den Lolch, und bindet ihn in Bündel, damit man ihn verbrenne; den Weizen aber sammelt in meine Scheune.
31 Another parable, put he before them, saying—The kingdom of the heavens is like unto, a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field;
Ein anderes Gleichnis legte er ihnen vor, und sagte: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich einem Senfkorn, welches ein Mensch nahm, und säete es auf seinem Acker.
32 which, indeed, is, less, than all seeds, but, when grown, is greater than garden-plants, and becometh a tree, —so that the birds of heaven come, and lodge among its branches.
Welches das kleinste ist von allen Samen; wenn es aber wächst, so wird es größer, als die Kräuter, und wird zum Bäumlein, so daß die Vögel des Himmels in seinen Zweigen nisten.
33 Another parable, [spake he unto them]: —The kingdom of the heavens is like, unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour until, the whole, was leavened.
Ein anderes Gleichnis sagte er ihnen: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich dem Sauerteig, welchen ein Weib nahm, und mischte ihn unter drei Scheffel Mehl, bis daß das Ganze durchsäuert war.
34 All these things, spake Jesus in parables, unto the multitudes, and, without a parable, was he speaking, nothing, unto them:
Dies alles redete Jesus in Gleichnissen zu den Volkshaufen, und ohne Gleichnis redete er nicht zu ihnen.
35 that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken through the prophet, saying—I will open, in parables, my mouth, I will bring up things hidden from the foundation!
Damit erfüllt würde das da gesagt ist durch den Propheten, der spricht: "Ich will in Gleichnissen meinen Mund auftun, ich will kund machen, was verborgen gewesen ist, von Grundlegung der Welt an."
36 Then, dismissing the multitudes, he went into the house, and his disciples came near to him, saying—Make quite plain to us the parable of the darnel of the field.
Da verließ Jesus die Volkshaufen, und ging nach Hause. Und es kamen seine Jünger zu ihm, die sprachen: Deute uns das Gleichnis vom Lolch auf dem Acker.
37 And, he, answering, said—He that soweth the good seed, is the Son of Man;
Da antwortete er, und sprach zu ihnen: Der den guten Samen säet, der ist der Menschensohn.
38 And, the field, is the world, and, the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, —and, the darnel seeds, are the sons of the evil one;
Der Acker aber ist die Welt; und der gute Same sind die Söhne der Gottesherrschaft; der Lolch aber die Söhne des Bösen.
39 And, the enemy that sowed them, is the adversary, and, the harvest, is, the conclusion of an age, and, the reapers, are, messengers. (aiōn g165)
Der Feind, der sie säet, ist der Teufel; die Ernte aber das Ende des Weltlaufs; und die Schnitter sind die Engel. (aiōn g165)
40 Just, therefore, as collected is the darnel, and, with fire is burned, so, will it be in the conclusion of the age: — (aiōn g165)
Gleichwie nun der Lolch gesammelt und mit Feuer verbrannt wird, so wird es auch sein am Ende des Weltlaufs. (aiōn g165)
41 The Son of Man will send forth his messengers, and they will collect, out of his kingdom, all the causes of stumbling, and the doers of lawlessness,
Der Menschensohn wird seine Engel senden, und sie werden seiner Herrschaft alles Anstößige und alle Übeltäter zusammenlesen,
42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire: there, will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen, daselbst wird sein Heulen und Zähneknirschen.
43 Then, the righteous, will shine forth as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear!
Alsdann werden die Gerechten leuchten, wie die Sonne, in ihres Vaters Herrschaft. Wer Ohren hat, zu hören, der höre!
44 The kingdom of the heavens is like unto, a treasure hid in the field, which a man, finding, hid, —and, by reason of his joy, withdraweth and selleth whatsoever he hath, and buyeth that field.
Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem in dem Acker verborgenen Schatz, den ein Mann fand und verbarg, und ging vor Freude hin, und verkaufte alles, was er hatte, und erwarb jenen Acker.
45 Again, the kingdom of the heavens is, like, unto, a merchant, seeking beautiful pearls, —
Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem Kaufmann, der gute Perlen sucht.
46 and, finding one very precious pearl, departing, he at once sold all things, whatsoever he had, and bought it.
Da er aber eine sehr wertvolle Perle fand, ging er hin, verhandelte alles, was er hatte, und kaufte sie.
47 Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like unto, a large drag-net, cast into the sea and gathering of every kind, —
Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem Netz, das in den See geworfen wurde, und von jeder Art fing.
48 which, when it was filled, they dragged up on the beach, and, sitting down, collected the good into vessels, but, the worthless, forth they cast.
Da es aber voll war, zog man es ans Ufer, und setzte sich hin, und verlas die guten in Gefäße; die nichtsnutzigen aber warf man hinaus.
49 So, will it be in the conclusion of the age: The messengers will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous; (aiōn g165)
So wird es auch sein am Ende des Weltlaufs. Die Engel werden ausgehen, und absondern die Schlechten aus dem Kreise der Gerechten, (aiōn g165)
50 and will cast them into the furnace of fire: there, will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen; daselbst wird sein Heulen und Zähneknirschen.
51 Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea!
Habt ihr das alles verstanden? Sie sagten ihm: Ja!
52 And, he, said unto them—Wherefore, every scribe, discipled unto the kingdom of the heavens, is like unto a householder, who putteth forth out of his treasure, things new and old.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Jeder Schriftgelehrte, der ein Jünger für die Gottesherrschaft geworden, ist gleich einem Hausherrn, der aus seinem Schatze Neues und Altes hervorbringt.
53 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, he removed from thence;
Und es geschah, als Jesus diese Gleichnisse vollendet hatte, daß er von dannen zog.
54 and, coming into his own city, began teaching them in their synagogue, so that with astonishment were they being struck, and were saying—Whence, hath, this one, this wisdom, and the mighty works?
Und kam in seine Vaterstadt, und lehrte sie in ihrer Synagoge, so daß sie sich verwunderten und sagten: Woher hat er diese Weisheit und die Krafttaten?
55 Is not, this one, the carpenter’s, son? Is not, his mother, called Mary, and are not his brethren—James and Joseph, and Simon, and Judas?
Ist dieser nicht des Bauhandwerkers Sohn? heißen nicht seine Mutter Maria, und seine Brüder Jakobus, und Joses, und Simon, und Judas?
56 and, his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence, then hath, this one, all these things?
Und seine Schwestern, sind sie nicht alle bei uns? Woher hat der jetzt das alles?
57 And they began to find cause of stumbling in him. But, Jesus, said unto them—A prophet is not without honour, save in his city, and in his house.
Und sie stießen sich an ihm: Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ein Prophet gilt nirgends weniger, als in seiner Vaterstadt und in seinem Hause.
58 And he did not, there, many mighty works, because of their unbelief.
Und er tat daselbst nicht viele Krafttaten, um ihres Unglaubens willen.
