Mark 3
1 And he entered again into a synagogue, and there-was there, a man having, his hand, withered;
இயேசு மறுபடியும் ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குள் சென்றார். அங்கு சுருங்கிய கையுடைய ஒருவன் இருந்தான்.
2 and they were narrowly watching him, whether, on the Sabbath, he would cure him, that they might accuse him.
சிலர் இயேசுவைக் குற்றப்படுத்துவதற்கான காரணத்தைத் தேடி, ஓய்வுநாளிலே அவர் அவனைக் குணமாக்குவாரோ என்று கவனமாகப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
3 And he saith unto the man who hath his hand withered, Arise into the midst!
இயேசு சுருங்கிய கையுடையவனிடம், “எல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாக நீ எழுந்து நில்” என்றார்.
4 and saith unto them—Is it allowed, on the Sabbath, to do good, or to do evil? To, save, life, or, to slay? but they remained silent.
அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “ஓய்வுநாளிலே மோசேயின் சட்டத்தின்படி செய்யத் தகுந்தது எது: நன்மை செய்வதா அல்லது தீமை செய்வதா, ஒருவனின் உயிரைக் காப்பாற்றுவதா அல்லது கொல்லுவதா?” என்று கேட்டார். அவர்களோ, ஒன்றும் பேசாமல் இருந்தார்கள்.
5 And, looking round upon them with anger, being at the same time grieved on account of the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man—Stretch forth thy hand! and he stretched it forth, and his hand, was restored.
அவர்களுடைய பிடிவாத இருதயத்தின் நிமித்தம் வருந்தி, சுற்றியிருந்த அவர்களை இயேசு கோபத்துடன் பார்த்து அவனிடம், “உன் கையை நீட்டு” என்றார். அவன் அப்படியே தன் கையை நீட்டினான், அது முற்றிலுமாக குணமடைந்தது.
6 And, the Pharisees, going out straightway with the Herodians, were giving counsel against him, that they should, destroy, him.
அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர்கள் வெளியே போய், இயேசுவைக் கொலை செய்யும்படி, ஏரோதியர்களுடனே சதி செய்தார்கள்.
7 And, Jesus, with his disciples, retired unto the sea; and, a great throng from Galilee, followed, also from Judaea,
இயேசு தம்முடைய சீடர்களுடனே புறப்பட்டு, கடற்கரைக்குச் சென்றார். கலிலேயாவிலிருந்து பெருந்திரளான மக்கள் அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்தார்கள்.
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Zidon, a great throng, hearing whatsoever things he was doing, came unto him.
இயேசு செய்தவற்றை எல்லாம் கேள்விப்பட்டு, அநேக மக்கள் யூதேயா, எருசலேம், இதுமேயா ஆகிய இடங்களிலிருந்தும், யோர்தான் ஆற்றுக்கு அப்பாலுள்ள பகுதியிலிருந்தும், தீரு, சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலிருந்தும், இயேசுவினிடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
9 And he spake unto his disciples that a little boat might attend him, because of the multitude, —that they might not be pressing upon him.
மக்கள் பெருங்கூட்டமாய் கூடியிருந்தபடியால், அவர்கள் தம்மை நெருக்காதபடிக்கு, தமக்கென்று ஒரு படகை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணும்படி, இயேசு தமது சீடருக்குச் சொன்னார்.
10 For he cured many, so that they were besieging him, that they might touch him—as many as had plagues;
அநேகரை இயேசு குணமாக்கியபடியால், வியாதிப்பட்டிருந்தவர்கள் அவரைத் தொடுவதற்கு முன்னே நெருக்கிக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
11 and the impure spirits, as soon as they beheld him, were falling down to him, and crying aloud, while he was speaking, Thou, art the Son of God!
தீய ஆவி பிடித்திருந்தவர்கள் இயேசுவைக் கண்டபோது, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் கீழே விழுந்து, “நீர் இறைவனின் மகன்” என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள்.
12 and sternly was he rebuking them, lest they should make him manifest.
ஆனால் இயேசுவோ தான் யாரென ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று தீய ஆவிகளுக்குக் கண்டிப்பாகக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
13 And he goeth up into the mountain and calleth near whom, he, pleased, —and they went away unto him;
பின்பு இயேசு ஒரு மலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போய், தாம் விரும்பியவர்களை தம்மிடம் வரும்படி அழைத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.
14 and he appointed a twelve, whom also he named, Apostles, —that they might be with him, and that he might be sending them forth to make proclamation,
இயேசு பன்னிரண்டு பேரை நியமித்து, அவர்களை அப்போஸ்தலர் என அழைத்தார்; தம்முடனேகூட இருக்கும்படியாகவும், நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கும்படி தாம் அவர்களை அனுப்பும்படியாகவும்,
15 and to have authority to cast out the demons;
பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தும் அதிகாரம் உடையவர்களாகவும் அவர்களை நியமித்தார்.
16 and he appointed the twelve (and imposed a name on Simon—) Peter,
இயேசு நியமித்தப் பன்னிரண்டு பேரும் இவர்களே. அவர் பேதுரு எனப் பெயரிட்ட சீமோன்,
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and imposed on them a name—Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder);
செபெதேயுவின் மகன் யாக்கோபு, அவனுடைய சகோதரன் யோவான் இவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் பொவனெர்கேஸ் என்று பெயரிட்டார், “இடிமுழக்கத்தின் மகன்கள்” என்பதே அதன் அர்த்தமாகும்.
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the zealot;
அந்திரேயா, பிலிப்பு, பர்தொலொமேயு, மத்தேயு, தோமா, அல்பேயுவின் மகன் யாக்கோபு, ததேயு, கானானியனாகிய சீமோன்,
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up. And he cometh into a house;
இயேசுவைக் காட்டிக்கொடுத்த யூதாஸ்காரியோத்.
20 and the multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
பின்பு இயேசு, ஒரு வீட்டுக்குச் சென்றார்; மக்கள் மீண்டும் பெருங்கூட்டமாய் வந்ததினால், அவரும் அவருடைய சீடர்களும் சாப்பிடக்கூட இயலாதிருந்தார்கள்.
21 And they who were near to him, hearing of it, went out to secure him, —for they were saying—He is beside himself!
இயேசுவின் குடும்பத்தார் இதைப்பற்றிக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, “அவருக்குப் பைத்தியம் பிடித்துவிட்டது” என்று சொல்லி, அவரைப் பிடிக்கப் போனார்கள்.
22 And, the Scribes who from Jerusalem had come down, were saying—He hath, Beelzebul; and—In the ruler of the demons, casteth he out the demons.
எருசலேமிலிருந்து வந்த மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியர்கள், “இவனைப் பெயல்செபூல் பிடித்திருக்கிறது! பிசாசுகளின் தலைவனாலேயே இவன் பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறான்” என்றார்கள்.
23 And, calling them near, in parables, began he to say unto them—How can, Satan, cast, Satan out?
எனவே இயேசு அவர்களை அழைத்து, அவர்களோடு உவமைகள் மூலமாய் பேசினார், “சாத்தானைத் துரத்த சாத்தானால் எப்படி முடியும்?
24 And, if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
ஒரு அரசு தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய் பிளவுபடுமானால், அந்த அரசு நிலைபெறாது.
25 And, if a house against itself be divided, the house shall be unable to stand;
ஒரு குடும்பம் தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய் பிளவுபடுமானால், அந்தக் குடும்பம் நிலைபெறாது.
26 And, if, Satan, hath risen up against himself, and become divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
எனவே சாத்தான் தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாக எழுந்து பிளவுபட்டால், அவனால் நிலைத்து நிற்கமுடியாது; அவனுடைய முடிவு வந்துவிடும்.
27 But, no one is able into the house of the mighty one to enter, and, his spoils, to carry off, unless, first the mighty one, he bind, and, then his house, will he plunder!
முதலில் ஒரு பலமுள்ளவனைக் கட்டிப்போடாமல், அந்த பலமுள்ளவனுடைய வீட்டிற்குள் புகுந்து, அவனுடைய உடைமைகளை எவராலும் அள்ளிக்கொண்டு போகமுடியாது. அவனைக் கட்டிப்போட்ட பின்பே, அவனுடைய வீட்டைக் கொள்ளையிடமுடியும்.
28 Verily, I say unto you—All things shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, —the sins and the profanities wherewithal they shall profane;
நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், மனிதர்களுடைய எல்லாப் பாவங்களும், அவர்கள் பேசும் எல்லா அவதூறுகளும், அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
30 because they were saying—An impure spirit, he hath!
“தீய ஆவி அவரைப் பிடித்திருக்கிறது” என்று அவர்கள் தம்மைப் பற்றி சொன்னதினாலேயே இயேசு இப்படிச் சொன்னார்.
31 And there come his mother and his brethren, and, standing, outside, they sent unto him, calling him.
அப்பொழுது இயேசுவின் தாயும் அவருடைய சகோதரர்களும் அங்கு வந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் வெளியே நின்று, இயேசுவை அழைத்துவர ஆளனுப்பினார்கள்.
32 And there was sitting around him a multitude, and they say unto him—Lo! thy mother and thy brethren, outside, are seeking thee!
மக்கள் பெருங்கூட்டமாய் அவரைச் சுற்றியிருந்தார்கள். அப்போது, போனவர்கள் அவரிடம், “உமது தாயும், உமது சகோதரர்களும் உம்மைத் தேடிவந்து வெளியே நிற்கிறார்கள்” என்றார்கள்.
33 And, answering them, he saith—Who are my mother and my brethren?
அதற்கு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “என் தாயும் என் சகோதரர்களும் யார்?” என்றார்.
34 And, looking around on them who, about him, in a circle, were sitting, he saith, See! my mother and my brethren!
பின்பு, இயேசு தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்து உட்கார்ந்திருந்தவர்களைச் சுற்றிப்பார்த்து, “இதோ, என் தாயும், என் சகோதரர்களும் இவர்களே!
35 Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same, is my brother and sister and mother.
இறைவனுடைய விருப்பத்தைச் செய்கிறவர்களே, என் சகோதரனும் சகோதரியும், தாயுமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்” என்றார்.
