Mark 14
1 Now it was the Passover and the Unleavened [cakes], after two days. And the High-priests and Scribes were seeking, how, with guile, they might secure, and lay him;
၁ပသခါပွဲနှင့်တဆေးမဲ့မုန့်ပွဲတော်ကျရောက် ရန် နှစ်ရက်မျှအလိုတွင်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း များနှင့်ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာများသည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုတိတ်တဆိတ်ဖမ်းဆီး၍သတ်ရန်နည်း လမ်းရှာကြံလျက်နေကြ၏။-
2 for they were saying—Not in the feast, lest there be an uproar of the people.
၂သူတို့က ``လူတို့ရုန်းရင်းဆန်ခတ်ဖြစ်မည်ကို စိုးရိမ်စရာရှိသဖြင့် ပွဲတော်ရက်အတွင်း၌ မဖမ်းဆီးကြနှင့်'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
3 And, he being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining, there came a woman, holding an alabaster-jar of perfume, pure spikenard, very costly; and breaking the jar she was pouring down [the perfume], upon his head.
၃သခင်ယေရှုသည်ဗေသနိရွာ၌ အရေပြား ရောဂါစွဲကပ်ဖူးသူရှိမုန်၏အိမ်တွင်ရှိ၍ အစားအစာသုံးဆောင်တော်မူစဉ်အမျိုး သမီးတစ်ယောက်သည် အလွန်အဖိုးထိုက် သောနာဒုဆီမွှေးအစစ်ကျောက်ဖြူဘူး ကို ကိုယ်တော်၏ခေါင်းတော်ထက်တွင်သွန်း လောင်းလေသည်။-
4 But there were some much displeased among themselves—To what end hath, this waste of the perfume happened?
၄လူအချို့တို့သည်ဒေါသထွက်၍ ``အဘယ် ကြောင့်ဆီမွှေးကိုဤသို့အကျိုးမဲ့ဖြုန်းတီး ပါသနည်း။-
5 For this perfume could have been sold for above three hundred denaries, and given unto the destitute! and they were indignant with her.
၅ဤဆီမွှေးကိုဒေနာရိအပြားသုံးရာကျော်နှင့် ရောင်း၍ ဆင်းရဲသူများအားပေးကမ်းသင့်၏'' ဟု အချင်းချင်းပြောဆိုကာအမျိုးသမီးကို အပြစ်တင်ကြ၏။
6 But, Jesus, said—Let her alone! Why are ye reproaching, her? A seemly work, hath she wrought, in me;
၆သခင်ယေရှုက ``ထိုအမျိုးသမီးကိုရှိစေတော့။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်သူ့ကိုနှောင့်ယှက်ကြသနည်း။ ငါ့ အားသူပြုသောအမှုသည်လျောက်ပတ်ပေ၏။-
7 For, always, have ye, the destitute, with you, and whensoever ye please, ye can, unto them, [at any time] do well! But, me, not, always, have ye.
၇ဆင်းရဲသူများသည်သင်တို့နှင့်အမြဲရှိနေကြ ၏။ သင်တို့အလိုရှိသည့်အခါတိုင်းသူတို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြုနိုင်ကြ၏။ ငါမူကားသင်တို့နှင့် အမြဲရှိနေသည်မဟုတ်။-
8 What she had, she used, —She took it beforehand to anoint my body for the burial;
၈ဤအမျိုးသမီးသည်သူတတ်နိုင်သမျှငါ့ အားပြုစုလေပြီ။ ငါ၏ရုပ်အလောင်းကိုသင်္ဂြိုဟ် ရန် ကြိုတင်၍ဆီမွှေးနှင့်လိမ်းကျံလေပြီ။-
9 And, verily, say unto you—Wheresoever the glad-message shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world, —also what she did, will be told for a memorial of her.
၉အမှန်အကန်သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကားသတင်း ကောင်းကြေညာရာ ကမ္ဘာအရပ်ရပ်တွင်ဤအမျိုး သမီးကိုအောက်မေ့သတိရကြစေရန် သူပြု ခဲ့သောကောင်းမှုကိုပြောကြားကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
10 And, Judas Iscariot, who was one of he twelve, went away unto the High-priests, that, him, he might deliver up unto them.
၁၀တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးအပါအဝင်ဖြစ်သောယုဒ ရှကာရုတ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုရန်သူ့လက်သို့ အပ်ရန်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးများထံသို့သွား၏။-
11 Now, when they heard, they rejoiced, and promised to give him, silver; and he was seeking how, at a favourable opportunity, he might, deliver him up.
၁၁ထိုသူတို့သည်သူလာရသည့်အကြောင်းကို ကြားသိသောအခါ ဝမ်းမြောက်သဖြင့်သူ့အား ငွေပေးရန်ကတိပြုကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ယုဒ သည်ကိုယ်တော်အားရန်သူ့လက်သို့အပ်ရန် အခွင့်ကောင်းကိုရှာလျက်နေ၏။
12 And, on the first day of the unleavened cakes, when, the passover, they were slaying, his disciples say unto him—Where wilt thou, we depart and make ready, that thou mayest eat the passover?
၁၂ပသခါသိုးသူငယ်ကိုသတ်၍ပူဇော်ရသော နေ့တည်းဟူသော တဆေးမဲ့မုန့်ပွဲတော်ပထမ နေ့၌တပည့်တော်တို့က ``အရှင့်အတွက်ပသခါ ပွဲညစာကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဘယ်အရပ်သို့သွား ၍ပြင်ဆင်ရပါမည်နည်း'' ဟုကိုယ်တော်အား မေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them—Go your way into the city, and there will meet you a man, a jar of water, bearing, —follow him;
၁၃ကိုယ်တော်ကတပည့်တော်နှစ်ယောက်အား ``သင်တို့ သည်မြို့ထဲသို့သွားကြ။ ရေအိုးထမ်းလာသူလူ တစ်ယောက်သည် သင်တို့ကိုကြိုဆိုလိမ့်မည်။-
14 and, wheresoever he shall enter, say ye unto the householder—The teacher, saith, Where is my lodging, where, the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?
၁၄ထိုသူ၏နောက်သို့လိုက်သွားကြလော့။ သူဝင်သော အိမ်မှအိမ်ရှင်အား ``ဆရာတော်နှင့်တပည့်များ ပသခါပွဲညစာကိုစားရန်အခန်းကားအဘယ် မှာနည်း'' ဟုဆရာတော်ကမေးကြောင်းပြော ကြလော့။-
15 And, he, unto you, will shew, a large upper-room, spread ready, and, there, make ye ready for us.
၁၅သူသည်အထက်ထပ်ရှိအသင့်ပြင်ဆင်ခင်းကျင်း ထားသောအခန်းကြီးကိုသင်တို့အားပြလိမ့်မည်။ ယင်းအခန်းတွင်ငါတို့အတွက်ညစာကိုပြင် ကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်မှာ၍စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
16 And the disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found, according as he had said unto them, —and they made ready the passover.
၁၆ထိုတပည့်တော်နှစ်ယောက်တို့သည်ထွက်သွားပြီး လျှင် မြို့တွင်းသို့ဝင်ကြ၏။ မြို့ထဲသို့ရောက်သော အခါကိုယ်တော်မိန့်မှာတော်မူလိုက်သည့်အတိုင်း တွေ့၍ ပသခါညစာကိုအသင့်ပြင်ကြ၏။
17 And, when evening arrived, he cometh, with the twelve.
၁၇ညချမ်းအချိန်ရောက်သော် ကိုယ်တော်သည် တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးနှင့်အတူကြွလာတော်မူ၏။-
18 And, as they were reclining and eating, Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—One from among you, will deliver me up, he that is eating with me.
၁၈သူတို့သည်စားပွဲမှာထိုင်လျက်စားနေကြစဉ် သခင်ယေရှုက ``အမှန်အကန်သင်တို့အားငါ ဆိုသည်ကား သင်တို့အနက်ငါနှင့်အတူစားနေ သူတစ်ဦးသည်ငါ့ကိုသစ္စာဖောက်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
19 They began to be grieved, and to be saying unto him, one by one, —Can it be, I?
၁၉တပည့်တော်တို့သည်စိတ်မချမ်းမသာဖြစ်ကြ လျက် ``ထိုသူသည်အကျွန်ုပ်ပေလော'' ဟုတစ်ဦး နောက်တစ်ဦးကိုယ်တော်အားမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
20 And, he, said unto them—One of the twelve, he that is dipping with me into the [one] bowl:
၂၀ကိုယ်တော်က ``ထိုသူသည်တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးတွင် အပါအဝင်ဖြစ်၏။ ငါနှိုက်သောပန်းကန်တွင် နှိုက်၍စားသူဖြစ်၏။-
21 Because, the Son of Man, indeed, goeth his way, —according as it is written concerning him; but alas! for that man, through whom the Son of Man is being delivered up, —Well for him, if that man, had not been born!
၂၁ကျမ်းစာလာသည်အတိုင်းလူသားသည်အသေခံ ရမည်။ သို့ရာတွင်လူသားအားရန်သူ့လက်သို့ အပ်သူသည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ မွေးဖွားခြင်းကို မခံရလျှင်သူ့အဖို့သာ၍ကောင်းသေး၏'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
22 And, as they were eating, taking a loaf, he blessed and brake, and gave unto them, and said—Take! this, is, my body;
၂၂ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တပည့်တော်တို့သည်ညစာစား နေကြစဉ်ကိုယ်တော်သည်မုန့်ကိုယူ၍ ဘုရား သခင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းတော်မူ၏။ ထိုနောက်မုန့်ကိုဖဲ့၍ ``ဤမုန့်ကားငါ၏ကိုယ် ခန္ဓာဖြစ်၏။ ယူ၍စားကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ ပြီးလျှင်တပည့်တော်တို့အားဝေပေးတော် မူ၏။
23 And, taking a cup, he offered thanks, and gave unto them; and they, all, drank of it.
၂၃စပျစ်ရည်ခွက်ကိုလည်းယူ၍ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပြီးနောက် သူတို့ အားပေးတော်မူလျှင်သူတို့အားလုံးသည် သောက်ကြ၏။-
24 And he said unto them—This, is, my blood of the covenant, that is to be poured out in behalf of many.
၂၄ကိုယ်တော်က ``ဤစပျစ်ရည်ကားလူအများ အတွက်သွန်းသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ပဋိညာဉ် တော်ကိုတံဆိပ်ခတ်နှိပ်သောငါ၏သွေးဖြစ်၏။-
25 Verily, I say unto you—No more, will I in anywise drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I shall be drinking it new, in the kingdom of God.
၂၅သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကားဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်တွင် စပျစ်ရည်သစ်ကိုသောက်ရသည့် နေ့မတိုင်မီ ငါသည်ဤစပျစ်ရည်ကိုနောက်တစ် ဖန်သောက်တော့မည်မဟုတ်'' ဟုတပည့်တော်တို့ အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
26 And, having sung praise, they went forth unto the Mount of Olives.
၂၆ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ဋ္ဌမ္မ သီချင်းဆိုပြီးလျှင်သံလွင်တောင်သို့ထွက် သွားကြ၏။
27 And Jesus saith unto them—Ye, all, will find cause of stumbling, because it is written, —I will smite the shepherd, and, the sheep, will be scattered abroad;
၂၇သခင်ယေရှုက ``ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင် `ငါသည်သိုး ထိန်းကိုရိုက်သတ်သဖြင့် သိုးတို့သည်ကစဥ့်ကရဲ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်' ဟုပါရှိသည်နှင့်အညီသင်တို့ သည်ငါ့ကိုစွန့်၍ထွက်ပြေးကြလိမ့်မည်။-
28 But, after my arising, I will go before you into Galilee.
၂၈သို့ရာတွင်ငါသည်သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်ပြီး နောက် ဂါလိလဲပြည်သို့သင်တို့အလျင်သွား နှင့်မည်'' ဟုတပည့်တော်တို့အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
29 And, Peter, said unto him—Even if, all, shall find cause of stumbling, certainly not, I.
၂၉ပေတရုက ``အခြားသူအပေါင်းတို့အရှင့်ကို စွန့်ပစ်ကြသော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်မစွန့်ပစ်ပါ'' ဟု ကိုယ်တော်အားလျှောက်ထား၏။
30 And Jesus saith unto him—Verily, I say unto thee, thou, this day, in this night, before that twice a cock crow, thrice, will deny me.
၃၀သခင်ယေရှုက ``အမှန်အကန်သင့်အားငါဆို သည်ကား ယနေ့ည၌ပင်ကြက်နှစ်ကြိမ်မတွန်မီ သင်သည်သုံးကြိမ်တိုင်တိုင်ငါ့ကိုမသိဟုငြင်း ဆိုလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုပေတရုအားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
31 But he, most vehemently, was saying—Even though I must needs die with thee, in nowise, will I, deny thee. Likewise, indeed, were, all besides, saying.
၃၁သို့ရာတွင်ပေတရုက ``အကျွန်ုပ်သည်အရှင် နှင့်အတူပင်သေရသော်လည်း အရှင့်ကိုမသိ ဟုငြင်းဆိုမည်မဟုတ်ပါ'' ဟုအလေးအနက် လျှောက်ထား၏။ အခြားတပည့်တော်တို့သည်လည်း ဤနည်း အတိုင်းလျှောက်ထားကြ၏။
32 And they come into an estate the name of which is Gethsemane, and he saith unto his disciples—Sit ye here, while I pray.
၃၂ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ဂေသရှေမန် ဟုနာမည်တွင်သောအရပ်သို့ရောက်ကြ၏။ ကိုယ် တော်သည် ``ငါဆုတောင်းနေစဉ်သင်တို့ဤနေရာ ၌ထိုင်နေကြလော့'' ဟုတပည့်တော်တို့အားမှာ ကြားပြီးနောက်၊-
33 And he taketh Peter and James and John with him, and began to be exceedingly amazed, and in great distress;
၃၃ပေတရု၊ ယာကုပ်နှင့်ယောဟန်တို့ကိုမိမိနှင့် အတူခေါ်ဆောင်သွားတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ပြင်းစွာပူပင်သောကဖြစ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊-
34 and he saith unto them—Encompassed with grief is my soul, unto death: Abide ye here, and be watching.
၃၄``ငါသည်သေလုနီးပါးစိတ်ဒုက္ခရောက်လှ၏။ သင်တို့ဤအရပ်တွင်သတိနှင့်စောင့်နေကြ လော့'' ဟုတပည့်တော်တို့သုံးဦးတို့အားမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
35 And, going forward a little, he fell upon the ground, and was praying that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him;
၃၅ထိုနောက်ရှေ့သို့အနည်းငယ်ကြွတော်မူ၍ မြေပေါ် တွင်ပျပ်ဝပ်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ``အဖခမည်းတော်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အမှုအရာခပ်သိမ်းကိုတတ်နိုင် တော်မူပါ၏။ ဤဒုက္ခဝေဒနာခွက်ကိုအကျွန်ုပ် ထံမှလွှဲဖယ်ပေးတော်မူပါ။ သို့ရာတွင်အကျွန်ုပ် ၏အလိုအတိုင်းမဟုတ်ပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်၏အလို တော်အတိုင်းဖြစ်စေတော်မူပါ'' ဟူ၍မိမိ ခံရမည့်ဝေဒနာကိုလွှဲဖယ်ရန်ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါ က လွှဲဖယ်ပေးတော်မူပါမည့်အကြောင်းဆု တောင်းတော်မူ၏။
36 and was saying—Abba! O Father! All things, are possible to thee: Bear aside this cup from me; but not what, I, will, but what, thou, [wilt].
၃၆
37 And he cometh and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter—Simon! art thou sleeping? Hadst thou not strength, one hour, to watch?
၃၇ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်သည်တပည့်တော်သုံးဦးတို့ ထံသို့ပြန်လာတော်မူရာ သူတို့အိပ်ပျော်လျက် နေကြသည်ကိုတွေ့တော်မူ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကိုယ်တော် က ``ရှိမုန်၊ သင်သည်အိပ်ပျော်နေသလော။ မအိပ်ဘဲ တစ်နာရီမျှပင်စောင့်၍မနေနိုင်သလော'' ဟု ပေတရုအားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
38 Be watching and praying, that ye enter not into temptation: the, spirit, indeed, is willing, but, the flesh, weak.
၃၈ထို့နောက်ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့သည်စုံစမ်း သွေးဆောင်ရာသို့မလိုက်မပါအံ့သောငှာ ဆု တောင်းလျက်စောင့်နေကြလော့။ စိတ်ဆန္ဒရှိသော် လည်းကိုယ်ခန္ဓာကားအားနည်းသည်'' ဟုသူတို့ အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
39 And, again, departing, he prayed, [the same thing, saying].
၃၉ကိုယ်တော်သည်တစ်ဖန်ကြွတော်မူပြန်၍ အထက်နည်းအတိုင်းဆုတောင်းတော်မူ၏။-
40 And, again, coming, he found them sleeping, for their eyes were being, weighed down, —and they knew not what to answer him.
၄၀ထို့နောက်တပည့်တော်သုံးဦးတို့ထံသို့ကြွ လာတော်မူသောအခါ သူတို့သည်မျက်စိ လေးလံသဖြင့် တစ်ဖန်အိပ်ပျော်နေကြသည် ကိုတွေ့မြင်တော်မူ၏။ သူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် အားအဘယ်သို့လျှောက်ထားရမည်ကို မသိကြ။
41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them—Ye are sleeping the remaining time and taking your rest: —It is enough! the hour hath come! Lo! the Son of Man is being delivered up into the hands of sinners.
၄၁ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့ထံသို့တတိယအကြိမ် ကြွလာတော်မူ၍ ``သင်တို့သည်ယခုတိုင်အိပ် ပျော်လျက်၊ နားလျက်နေကြသေးသလော။ တော် လောက်ပြီ။ လူသားကိုဆိုးယုတ်သူများလက် သို့အပ်နှံသောအချိန်ယခုရောက်လာပြီ။-
42 Be rousing yourselves, let us be leading on! Lo! he that is delivering me up, hath drawn near.
၄၂လာကြ။ ငါတို့သွားကြကုန်အံ့။ ငါ့အားရန်သူ့ လက်သို့အပ်မည့်သူသည်ရောက်လာပြီ'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
43 And, straightway, while yet he is speaking, Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, cometh near, and, with him, a multitude, with swords and clubs, from the High-priests and the Scribes and the Elders.
၄၃ယင်းသို့ကိုယ်တော်မိန့်တော်မူစဉ်တွင် တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင်ဖြစ်သောယုဒရောက်ရှိလာ၏။ သူနှင့်အတူတုတ်၊ ဋ္ဌားကိုင်သူလူအမြောက် အမြားပါ၏။ ထိုသူတို့သည်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ကြီးများ၊ ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာများနှင့်ဘာသာ ရေးခေါင်းဆောင်များကစေလွှတ်၍ရောက်ရှိ လာကြခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။-
44 He that is delivering him up hath given an agreed sign unto them, saying—Whomsoever I shall kiss, he, it is! Secure him, and be leading away, safely.
၄၄ကိုယ်တော်အားရန်သူ့လက်သို့အပ်မည့်သူ က ``ငါနမ်းရှုပ်နှုတ်ဆက်သူသည်ယေရှုဖြစ်၏။ သူ့ကိုဖမ်းဆီး၍အစောင့်နှင့်ခေါ်သွားကြ လော့'' ဟုသူတို့အားအမှတ်ပေးခဲ့၏။
45 And, coming, straightway, stepping forward to him, he saith—Rabbi! and openly kissed him.
၄၅သူသည်ရောက်လာပြီးလျှင်ချက်ချင်းပင် ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ချဉ်းကပ်ကာ ``အရှင်ဘုရား'' ဟုဆို၍ကိုယ်တော်ကိုနမ်းရှုပ်လေသည်။-
46 And, they, thrust their hands on him, and secured him.
၄၆လူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုဖမ်းဆီးချုပ်ကိုင် ထားကြ၏။-
47 [A certain] one of the by-standers, drawing a sword, smote the servant of the High priest, and took off his, ear.
၄၇ထိုအခါအနီးတွင်ရပ်နေသူလူတစ်ဦးသည် ဋ္ဌားကိုဆွဲထုတ်၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း၏ကျွန် တစ်ယောက်ကိုခုတ်လိုက်ရာထိုသူနားရွက် ပြတ်လေ၏။-
48 And Jesus, answering, said unto them—As against a robber, came ye forth, with swords and clubs, to arrest me?
၄၈သခင်ယေရှုက ``သင်တို့သည်ဋ္ဌားပြကို ဖမ်းဆီးသကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကိုဖမ်းဆီးရန်တုတ်၊ ဋ္ဌားများနှင့်လာကြသလော။-
49 Daily, was I with you, in the temple, teaching; and ye secured me not. But, that, the Scriptures, may be fulfilled…
၄၉ငါသည်နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်းဗိမာန်တော်တွင် သင်တို့ ရှေ့မှာဟောပြောသွန်သင်ခဲ့၏။ သင်တို့ငါ့ကို မဖမ်းမဆီးခဲ့ကြ။ သို့ရာတွင်ကျမ်းစာလာ သည်အတိုင်းဖြစ်ပျက်ရမည်'' ဟုထိုသူတို့ အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
50 And they, all, forsook, him, and fled.
၅၀ထိုအခါတပည့်တော်အပေါင်းတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုစွန့်၍ထွက်ပြေးကြ၏။
51 And, a certain young man, was following with him, having cast about himself a fine Indian cloth, over his naked body, —and they are securing him;
၅၁ပိတ်ပိုင်းလွှာတစ်ခုကိုသာဝတ်ထားသည့်လူငယ် လူရွယ်တစ်ယောက်သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏နောက်တော် ကလိုက်လာ၏။ လူအချို့တို့သည်သူ့ကိုဖမ်း ဆီးမည်ပြုကြသောအခါ၊-
52 but, he, leaving behind the cloth, fled naked.
၅၂သူသည်ပိတ်ပိုင်းလွှာကိုစွန့်၍အဝတ်မပါဘဲ ထွက်ပြေးလေ၏။
53 And they led away Jesus unto the High-priest; and all the High-priests and the Elders and the Scribes gather together.
၅၃ထိုသူတို့သည်သခင်ယေရှုကို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း၏ကျောင်းတော်သို့ခေါ်ဆောင်သွားကြ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးများ၊ ဘာသာရေးခေါင်း ဆောင်များနှင့်ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာများသည် ထိုကျောင်းတော်တွင်စုရုံးလျက်ရှိနေကြ သည်။-
54 And, Peter, afar of, followed him, as far as within, into the court of the High-priest; and was sitting with the attendants, and warming himself by the light.
၅၄ပေတရုသည်ခပ်လှမ်းလှမ်းကနေ၍ ယဇ်ပုရော ဟိတ်မင်း၏ကျောင်းတော်ဝင်းအတွင်းသို့တိုင် အောင် ကိုယ်တော်၏နောက်တော်ကလိုက်လာခဲ့၏။ သူသည်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း၏ကိုယ်ရံတော် တပ်သားများနှင့်အတူ မီးလှုံလျက်နေ၏။-
55 Now, the High-priest, and all the High-council, were seeking, against Jesus, testimony, with the intent to put him to death, —and were not finding any;
၅၅ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးများနှင့်တကွ ယုဒ တရားလွှတ်တော်အဖွဲ့ဝင်အပေါင်းတို့သည် သခင်ယေရှုအားသေဒဏ်ပေးနိုင်ရန်သက်သေ ကိုရှာသော်လည်းမတွေ့ကြ။-
56 for, many, were bearing false-witness against him, and the testimonies were not, agreed.
၅၆လူအများပင်လိမ်လည်သက်သေခံကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့၏ထွက်ဆိုချက်များကိုက် ညီမှုမရှိ။
57 And some, standing up, were bearing false-witness against him, saying—
၅၇လူအချို့တို့သည်ထ၍ ``လူ့လက်ဖြင့်တည်ဆောက် သော ဤဗိမာန်ကိုငါဖြိုဖျက်မည်။ ထိုနောက်သုံးရက် ကြာသောအခါ လူ့လက်ဖြင့်မတည်မဆောက်သည့် ဗိမာန်တော်ကိုငါတည်ဆောက်မည်ဟု သူပြောဆို သည်ကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြားပါသည်'' ဟု မဟုတ်မမှန်ထွက်ဆိုကြ၏။-
58 We, heard him saying, I, will pull down this shrine, the one made by hand, and, in three days, another, not made by hand, will I raise.

59 And, not even so, was the testimony, agreed.
၅၉သို့ရာတွင်ထိုသူတို့ထွက်ဆိုချက်များပင်လျှင် ကိုက်ညီမှုမရှိ။
60 And, the High-priest rising up into the midst, questioned Jesus, saying—Answerest thou, nothing? What are these, against thee, witnessing?
၆၀ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းသည်လူပရိသတ်တို့အလယ် တွင်ရပ်လျက် သခင်ယေရှုအား ``ထိုသူတို့သင့်အား စွပ်စွဲပြောဆိုနေကြသည်ကို သင်သည်မည်သို့မျှ မဖြေဘဲနေသလော'' ဟုမေး၏။-
61 But, he, was silent, and answered, nothing. Again, the High-priest was questioning him, and saith unto him—Art, thou, the Christ the Son of the Blessed?
၆၁သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်သည်ဆိတ်ဆိတ်နေတော်မူ၏။ စကားတစ်ခွန်းကိုမျှပြန်၍ပြောတော်မမူ။ တစ် ဖန်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းက ``သင်သည်မင်္ဂလာရှိ တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်မေရှိယ လော'' ဟုမေး၏။
62 And Jesus said—I, am; and ye shall see the Son of Man—sitting, on the right hand, of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.
၆၂သခင်ယေရှုက ``မှန်၏။ လူသားသည်အနန္တ တန်ခိုးရှင်၏လက်ယာဘက်၌ထိုင်လျက်နေသည် ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ မိုးတိမ်စီး၍ကြွလာသည်ကို လည်းကောင်းသင်တို့မြင်ရကြလတ္တံ့'' ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။-
63 And, the High-priest, having rent asunder his inner-garments, saith—What, further, need have we, of witnesses?
၆၃ထိုအခါယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းသည် မိမိ၏ အဝတ်ကိုဆွဲဆုတ်ပြီးလျှင် ``ငါတို့အဘယ်မှာ လျှင်သက်သေများထပ်၍လိုပါတော့မည်နည်း။-
64 Heard ye the profanity? What, to you, doth it appear? And they, all, condemned him to be, worthy, of, death.
၆၄ဘုရားသခင်အားထိုသူပြစ်မှားပြောဆိုသည် ကိုသင်တို့ကြားရကြပြီ။ သင်တို့မည်သို့စီရင် ချက်ချမှတ်ကြမည်နည်း'' ဟုဆို၏။ ထိုသူအားလုံးတို့က ``ပြစ်မှုထင်ရှားသဖြင့် သေဒဏ်ပေးထိုက်သည်'' ဟုစီရင်ချက်ချမှတ် ကြ၏။-
65 And some began to be spitting at him, and, covering up his face, and to be buffeting him, and saying to him—Prophesy! And, the attendants, with smart blows, took him.
၆၅အချို့သောသူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုတံတွေး နှင့်ထွေးကြ၏။ မျက်နှာတော်ကိုဖုံးပြီးလျှင် ရိုက်ပုတ်ကြ၏။ ``အရှင်အားမည်သူရိုက်ပုတ် သည်ကိုဟောတော်မူပါ'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။ ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း၏ကိုယ်ရံတော်တပ်သားတို့ သည်ပါးတော်ကိုလက်ဖြင့်ရိုက်ကြ၏။
66 And, Peter, being, below in the court, there cometh one of the maid-servants of the High-priest;
၆၆ပေတရုသည်ကျောင်းတော်ဝင်းအတွင်း၌ရှိနေ စဉ် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း၏အစေခံမကလေး တစ်ယောက်သည်ရောက်ရှိလာ၏။-
67 and, seeing Peter warming himself, having looked at him, saith—And, thou, wast, with the Nazarene—with Jesus.
၆၇ပေတရုမီးလှုံနေသည်ကိုမြင်သောအခါ သူ့ ကိုစေ့စေ့ကြည့်၍ ``သင်သည်လည်းနာဇရက် မြို့သားယေရှု၏အပေါင်းအဖော်ဖြစ်၏'' ဟု ဆို၏။
68 But, he, denied, saying—I neither know [him], nor do I well understand what, thou, sayest; and went out into the porch.
၆၈ပေတရုက ``သင်ပြောသည့်အရာကိုငါမသိ၊ နားမလည်'' ဟုငြင်းဆို၏။ ထိုနောက်သူသည် ဝင်း၏အဝင်ဝဆီသို့သွား၏။ ထိုအချိန်၌ ကြက်တွန်လေ၏။
69 And, the maid-servant, seeing him, began, again, to be saying unto the by-standers—This one, is, from among them.
၆၉အစေခံမကလေးသည်ပေတရုကိုတစ်ဖန်မြင် ပြန်သဖြင့် အနား၌ရပ်နေသူတို့အား ``ဤသူ သည်ထိုသူတို့နှင့်အပေါင်းပါဖြစ်၏'' ဟုဆို ပြန်၏။-
70 But, he, again, was denying. And, after a little again, the by-standers, were saying unto Peter—Truly, thou, art, from among them; for thou art, a Galilaean, also.
၇၀ပေတရုသည်လည်းမဟုတ်ကြောင်းငြင်းဆိုပြန်၏။ ထိုနောက်များမကြာမီအနီးတွင်ရပ်နေသူတို့ က ``သင်သည်ဂါလိလဲပြည်သားဖြစ်သဖြင့် အမှန်ပင်ထိုသူတို့နှင့်အပေါင်းပါဖြစ်၏'' ဟုသူ့အားဆိုကြ၏။
71 And, he, began to be cursing and swearing—I know not this man, of whom ye are speaking!
၇၁သို့ရာတွင်ပေတရုက ``သင်တို့ပြောသောသူ ကိုငါမသိ'' ဟုဘုရားသခင်ကိုတိုင်တည်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုလေ၏။
72 And, straightway, a second time, a cock, crowed; and Peter was reminded of the declaration, how Jesus had said to him—Before a cock, twice, crow, thrice, wilt thou deny me. And, when he thought thereon, he began to weep.
၇၂ထိုခဏ၌ဒုတိယအကြိမ်ကြက်တွန်လေ၏။ ထိုအခါ ``ကြက်နှစ်ကြိမ်မတွန်မီသင်သည်ငါ့ ကိုမသိဟူ၍သုံးကြိမ်မြောက်အောင်ငြင်းဆို လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုသခင်ယေရှုမိန့်တော်မူခဲ့သည့် စကားကို ပေတရုသည်ပြန်လည်သတိရ သဖြင့်ငိုကြွေးလေ၏။
