Mark 11
1 And, when they are drawing near unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, towards the Mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, —
Amikor Jeruzsálemhez közeledtek, Betfagé és Betánia felé, az Olajfák hegyénél elküldött tanítványai közül kettőt,
2 and saith unto them—Go your way into the village that is over against you, and, straightway, as ye are entering it, ye shall find a colt tied, upon which, no, man, yet, hath sat: loose him, and bring him.
és ezt mondta nekik: „Eredjetek abba a faluba, amely előttetek van, és amikor abba bejuttok, azonnal találtok egy szamárcsikót megkötve, amelyen ember nem ült még soha; oldjátok el és hozzátok ide.
3 And, if anyone unto you should say—Why are ye doing this? say—The Lord, of him hath need; and, straightway, he sendeth him off again here.
Ha valaki pedig megkérdezi tőletek: Miért teszitek ezt? Mondjátok: Az Úrnak van szüksége rá. Erre azonnal elengedi.“
4 And they departed, and found a colt, tied unto a door outside, on the street, —and they are loosing him.
Elmentek tehát, és megtalálták a megkötött szamárcsikót, az ajtón kívül a kettős útnál, és eloldották azt.
5 And, certain of them that were there standing, were saying unto them—What are ye doing, loosing the colt?
Az ott állók közül pedig némelyek ezt mondták nekik: „Mit műveltek, hogy eloldjátok a szamárcsikót?“
6 and they said unto them as, Jesus, said, —and they let them go.
Ők pedig úgy feleltek nekik, amint Jézus megparancsolta. Erre elengedték őket.
7 And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and throw upon him their mantles, —and he took his seat upon him.
Odavitték a szamárcsikót Jézushoz, rátették felsőruháikat, ő pedig felült rá.
8 And, many, spread out, their mantles, along the way, and, others, young branches, —cutting them out of the fields.
Sokan pedig felsőruháikat az útra terítették, mások pedig ágakat vagdostak a fákról, és az útra szórták.
9 And, they who were going before, and they who were following after, were crying aloud—Hosanna! Blessed, is he that is coming in the name of the Lord!
Akik pedig előtte mentek, és akik követték, ezt kiáltották: „Hozsánna! Áldott, aki jön az Úrnak nevében!
10 Blessed, is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!
Áldott a mi Atyánknak, Dávidnak országa, amely az Úrnak nevében jön! Hozsánna a magasságban!“
11 And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple, and, looking round on all things, late already being the hour, he went out into Bethany, with the twelve.
És bement Jézus Jeruzsálembe és a templomba, mindenhol körülnézett, és mivel az idő már későre járt, kiment Betániába a tizenkettővel.
12 And, on the morrow, when they came forth from Bethany, he hungered;
Másnap, mikor Betániából kimentek, megéheztek,
13 and, seeing a fig-tree from afar, having leaves, he came… if, therefore, he should find aught in it, and, coming up to it, nothing, found he, save, leaves; for it was not, the season, of figs.
és messziről meglátva egy fügefát, amelynek levelei voltak, odament, hátha talál valamit rajta. De odaérve, egyebet, mint levelet, nem talált rajta, mert nem volt fügeérés ideje.
14 And, answering, he said unto it—No more, unto times age-abiding, let anyone of thee, eat fruit. And his disciples were listening. (aiōn g165)
Akkor Jézus megszólalt, és ezt mondta a fügefának: „Soha többé ne egyék rólad gyümölcsöt senki.“A tanítványai is hallották ezt. (aiōn g165)
15 And they come into Jerusalem. And, entering into the temple, he began to be casting out them who were selling and them who were buying in the temple, and, the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them who were selling doves, he overthrew, —
Azután Jeruzsálembe érkeztek. Bemenve a templomba, Jézus kezdte kiűzni azokat, akik a templomban árultak és vásároltak, a pénzváltók asztalait és a galambárusok székeit pedig felborította,
16 and was not suffering that anyone should carry a vessel through the temple;
és nem engedte, hogy valaki edényt vigyen a templomon keresztül.
17 and was teaching, and saying—Is it not written, My house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the nations? but, ye, have made it, A den of robbers.
Azután így tanította őket: „Nincs-e megírva: »Az én házamat imádság házának nevezik minden nép között«? Ti pedig rablók barlangjává tettétek azt.“
18 And the High-priests and the Scribes, heard, it, and began seeking how they might, destroy, him, —for they were fearing him; for, all the multitude, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.
És meghallották az írástudók és a főpapok, és azon tanakodtak, hogy hogyan veszíthetnék el őt. Mert féltek tőle, mivel az egész sokaság álmélkodott az ő tanításán.
19 And, as soon as it became late, they were going forth outside the city.
Amikor azután beesteledett, kiment a városból.
20 And, passing by early, they saw the fig-tree, withered from its roots;
Reggel pedig, amikor elmentek a fügefa mellett, látták, hogy az gyökerestől kiszáradt.
21 and, put in mind, Peter saith unto him—Rabbi! see! the fig-tree which thou didst curse, is withered.
Péter visszaemlékezve, ezt mondta neki: „Mester, nézd, a fügefa, amelyet megátkoztál, kiszáradt.“
22 And, answering, Jesus saith unto them—Have faith in God.
És Jézus ezt felelte nekik: „Legyen hitetek Istenben.
23 Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be lifted up, and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that, what he speaketh, cometh to pass, it shall be his.
Mert bizony mondom néktek, ha valaki azt mondja ennek a hegynek: Kelj fel, és ugorjál a tengerbe, és szívében nem kételkedik, hanem hiszi, hogy amit mond, megtörténik, meglesz, amit mondott.
24 For this cause, I say unto you—All things, whatsoever ye are praying for and asking, believe that ye have received, and they shall be yours.
Ezért mondom nektek: Amit könyörgésetekben kértek, higgyétek, hogy mindazt megkapjátok, és meg is adatik néktek.
25 And, when ye stand praying, forgive, if aught ye have against any, —that, your Father also, who is in the heavens, may forgive you your offences.
És amikor imádkozva megálltok, bocsássátok meg, ha valaki ellen valami panaszotok van, hogy a ti mennyei Atyátok is megbocsássa nektek vétkeiteket.
Ha pedig ti nem bocsátotok meg, a ti mennyei Atyátok sem bocsátja meg a ti vétkeiteket.“
27 And they come again into Jerusalem. And, as he is walking in the temple, the High-priests and the Scribes and the Elders come unto him,
Ismét elmentek Jeruzsálembe. Amikor pedig Jézus a templomban körüljárt, odamentek hozzá a főpapok, az írástudók és a vének.
28 and were saying unto him—By what authority, these things, art thou doing? And who to thee hath given this authority that, these things, thou shouldst be doing?
És mondták neki: „Milyen hatalommal cselekszed ezeket, és ki adta neked a hatalmat arra, hogy ezeket cselekedd?“
29 But, Jesus, said unto them—I will question you, as to one matter, and answer me, —and I will tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing:
Jézus pedig ezt mondta nekik: „Én is kérdezek egy dolgot tőletek, feleljetek meg nekem, és megmondom nektek, hogy miféle hatalomnál fogva cselekszem ezeket.
30 The immersion by John, Of heaven, was it, or, of men? Answer me!
A János keresztsége mennyből való volt-e vagy emberektől? Erre feleljetek nekem.“
31 And they were deliberating among themselves, saying—If we say, Of heaven, he will say, Wherefore [then] did ye not believe him?
Azok pedig tanakodtak maguk között, ezt mondván: „Ha azt mondjuk: a mennyből, azt fogja mondani: Akkor miért nem hittetek neki?
32 But, should we say, Of men…, they were in fear of the multitude, for, one and all, were holding John, in very deed, that he was, a prophet.
Mondjuk talán azt: az emberektől?“De féltek a néptől, mert mindenki azt tartotta Jánosról, hogy valóban próféta volt.
33 And, making answer unto Jesus, they say—We know not; and Jesus saith unto them—Neither do, I, tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing.
Ezért így feleltek Jézusnak: „Nem tudjuk.“Jézus is válaszolt nekik: „Én sem mondom meg nektek, miféle hatalomnál fogva cselekszem ezeket.“
