Luke 4
1 And, Jesus, full of Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led in the Spirit in the desert,
Aru Jisu, Pobitro Atma pora bhorta koi kene, Tai Jordan Nodi pora ghuri jaise, aru Pobitro Atma pora taike jongol te loi jaise.
2 forty days, —being tempted by the adversary; and he did eat nothing in those days, —and, when they were concluded, he hungered.

3 And the adversary said to him—If thou art God’s, Son, speak unto this stone; that it become bread.
Saitan pora taike koise, “Tumi jodi Isor laga Putro hoi, titia etu pathor ke roti hobole hukum dibi.”
4 And Jesus made answer unto him—It is written: Not, on bread alone, shall, man, live.
Jisu taike koise, “Etu Isor kotha te likha ase, manu to khali bhaat pora jinda nathakibo.”
5 And, leading him up, he shewed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth, in a moment of time.
Titia saitan pora Jisu ke uporte loi jaise aru ekbar te he Jisu ke duniya laga rajyo dikhai dise.
6 And the adversary said to him—Unto thee, will I give this authority, all together, and their glory; because, unto me, hath it been delivered up, and, to whomsoever I please, I give it:
Aru saitan pora taike koise, “Moi tumike etu sob adhikar aru mohima dibo, kelemane etu sob moi loi loise aru moi junke itcha kore, moi taike dibo pare.
7 Thou, therefore, if thou wilt worship before me, it shall all, be thine.
Jodi Tumi moike aradhana kore, etu sob Tumi laga hoi jabo.”
8 And, answering, Jesus said to him—It is written: The Lord thy God, shalt thou worship, and, unto him alone, render divine service.
Kintu Jisu taike koise, “Isor kotha te likha ase, tumi khali Isor ke aradhana koribi, aru Tai laga kaam he koribi.”
9 And he led him into Jerusalem, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple, —and said [to him]—If thou art God’s, Son, cast thyself, from hence, down;
Pichete saitan pora aru Jisu ke Jerusalem te loi jaise, aru mondoli uporte taike loi jaise aru koise, “Jodi Tumi Isor laga Putro hoi, yate pora niche giri jabi.
10 for it is written—Unto his messengers, will he give command concerning thee, to keep vigilant watch over thee, —

11 And, On hands, will they take thee up, lest once thou strike, against a stone, thy foot.
Aru, taikhan Tumi laga hath pora uthai lobo, etu pora Tumi laga theng to pathor te nagiribo.’”
12 And Jesus, answering, said to him—It is said: Thou shalt not put to the test the Lord thy God.
Jisu taike koise, “Etu Isor kotha te likha ase, ‘Tumi Isor ke porikha na koribi.’”
13 And, having concluded every temptation, the adversary departed from him until a fitting season.
Jitia saitan laga sob porikha khan khotom hoise, etu pichete saitan jai jaise, aru Taike gira bole bhal homoi rukhi thakise.
14 And Jesus returned, in the power of the Spirit, into Galilee; and, a report, went out along the whole of the region, concerning him;
Pichete, Jisu Galilee te wapas Pobitro Atma laga hokti loi kene ahise, aru sob jagate Tai laga khobor huni loise.
15 and, he, began teaching in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
Tai mondoli khan te Isor laga kotha sikhabole shuru korise, aru manu khan pora tai sikhai diya kotha khan huni kene bisi bhal paise.
16 And he came into Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and entered, according to his custom, on the sabbath day, into the synagogue, —and stood up to read.
Aru tai Nazareth te ahise, jun jagate Tai dangor hoise, aru Yehudi niyom te, tai Bisram dinte mondoli te ghumai se, aru awaj uthaikene jor pora poribole khara kori loise.
17 And there was handed to him a scroll of the prophet Isaiah; and unfolding the scroll, he found the place where it was written:
Aru Jisu ke Isaiah bhabobadi laga kagos poribole dise. Tai kagos Khuli Kena ki likha ase etu paise,
18 The Spirit of the Lord, is upon me, because he hath anointed me—to tell glad tidings unto the destitute; He hath sent me forth, —To proclaim, to captives, a release, and, to the blind, a recovering of sight, —to send away the crushed, with a release;
“Probhu laga Atma moi uporte ase, Tai moike tel hali dikene basi loise gorib khan ke susamachar prochar kori bole, Tai moike pathaise bandhi rakha khan ke khulai diya laga prochar kori bole, Aru andha manu khan dikhi bole, Dukh te dabai rakha manu khan ke bacha bole,
19 To proclaim the welcome year of the Lord.
Aru Probhu laga dinte sob manu khushi pabole.”
20 And, folding up the scroll, he handed it to the attendant, and sat down; and, the eyes of all, in the synagogue, were intently fixed upon him;
Aru Tai kagos bondh kori kene cholawta ke wapas di dise aru bohise. Aru mondoli te thaka manu khan Taike he sai thakise.
21 and he began to be saying to them—This day, is fulfilled this scripture, in your ears.
Titia Tai pora taikhan ke koise, “Aji Isor kotha to purah hoise aru tumikhan huni loise.”
22 And, all, were bearing witness to him, and marvelling at the words of favour which were proceeding out of his mouth; and they were saying—Is not, this, the, son of Joseph?
Sob manu Tai laga bhal koise aru asurit hoise aru Tai laga mukh pora ula kotha khan huni kene taikhan koise, “Etu Joseph laga chokra nohoi naki?”
23 And he said unto them—By all means, ye will speak to me this similitude: Physician! heal, thyself, —Whatsoever things we have heard of coming to pass in Capernaum, do here also, in thine own country.
Titia Tai koise, “Hosa pora tumikhan Moi etu kotha kobo, ‘Bemar bhal kora manu, nijorke bhal koribi. Tumi Capernaum te ki korise amikhan etu sob huni loise, aru eneka kaam khan nijor desh te bhi koribi.’”
24 And he said—Verily, I say unto you, No prophet, is, welcome, in his own country,
Kintu, “Moi hosa kotha kobo, bhabobadi ke nijor desh te kun bhi sonman nakore.
25 And, of a truth, I say unto you—Many widows, were in the days of Elijah, in Israel, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine upon all the land;
Moi hosa pora tumikhan ke koi ase bidhowa bisi jon Israel te Elijah laga dinte thakise, jitia akas to tin saal choi mohina bondh thakise, jitia dangor dukh din etu desh te ahise.
26 And, unto none of them, was Elijah sent, save unto Sarepta of Sidonia, unto a woman that was a widow.
Kintu Elijah ke taikhan kun logote te bhi pathai diya nai, hoilebi Zarephath, Sidon te ekjon mota nathaka maiki logote he pathaise.
27 And, many lepers, were in Israel, in the time of Elisha the prophet, and, not one of them, was cleansed, save Naaman the Syrian.
Etu homoi te kusto-rugi laga bemar thaka manu Israel te bisi thakise. Elisha bhabobadi laga dinte, kintu kunbi bhal huwa nai, khali Syria desh laga Naaman ke chari kene.
28 And all were filled with wrath, in the synagogue, as they heard these things.
Aru mondoli te thaka khan jitia etu kotha hunise, taikhan sob khong hoi jaise.
29 And, rising up, they thrust him forth outside the city, and led him as far as a brow of the hill on which their city was built, —so that they might throw him down headlong.
Taikhan khara hoise, aru Jisu ke tanikena nogor laga untcha pahar pora phelai dibole korise.
30 But, he, passing through the midst of them, went his way.
Kintu Taike manu khan majot pora loi juwa homoi te, Jisu alag rasta pora ulai jaise.
31 And he came down into Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath;
Etu pichete Jisu Capernaum te namise, juntu Galilee laga ekta sheher asele aru ta te sob manu khan ke Sabbath dinte Isor kotha hikai se.
32 and they were being struck with astonishment at his teaching, because, with authority, was his word.
Tai laga kotha huni kene taikhan bisi asurit hoise, kele koile Tai adhikar thakikena Isor kotha koi thakise.
33 And, in the synagogue, was a man having a spirit of an impure demon; and he cried out with a loud voice—
Etiya mondoli te ekjon manu bhoot atma pora dhora thakise, aru tai jor pora hala korise aru dangor awaj te koise,
34 Let be! What have we in common with thee, O Jesus, Nazarene! Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, —The Holy One of God.
“Ha! Apuni logote amikhan ki kaam ase, Nazareth laga Jisu? Moi khan ke borbad kori bole ahise? Moi jane Apuni kun ase- Isor laga Pobitro Ekjon Ase!”
35 And Jesus rebuked it, saying—Hold thy peace! and go forth from him. And the demon, throwing him into the midst, went forth from him, doing him no hurt.
Jisu pora bhoot ke hukum dikena koise, “Chup thakibi, aru tai pora bahar ulai jabi!” Aru bhoot pora manu ke taikhan majote girai dise, aru manu ke eku nuksan nakorikena ulai jaise.
36 And amazement came upon all, and they began to converse one with another, saying—What is this word, that, with authority and power, he giveth orders unto the impure spirits, and they go forth?
Manu khan saikene asurit lagise, aru ekjon-ekjon logote kotha patikena koise, “Etu ki kotha ase, juntu laga adhikar aru hokti pora Tai dusto atma khan ke hukum kore aru taikhan ulai jai?”
37 And a noise concerning him began to go out into every place of the country around.
Aru etu khobor sob jagate punchikena bisi manu huni loise.
38 And, rising up, from the synagogue, he went into the house of Simon. Now, the mother-in-law of Simon, was in distress with a great fever; and they made request to him concerning her.
Pichete, Jisu mondoli chari kene Simon laga ghor te jaise. Etu homoi te Simon laga maiki laga ama bisi bemar thakise, etu nimite Taike ahikena anurodh korise.
39 And, standing over her, he rebuked the fever, and it left her; and, instantly arising, she began to minister unto them.
Aru Jisu ta te jaise aru tai usorte khara hoi kene, bemar ke gali dise, aru bemar taike charise, aru tai uthikena taikhan ke sewa kori bole shuru hoise.
40 But, as the sun was going in, they one and all, as many as had any sick with divers diseases, brought them unto him; and, he, upon each one of them laying, his hands, was curing them.
Jitia suryo nami jaise, jiman manu alag-alag bemar thakise, Jisu usorte loi kene ahise, aru Jisu ke taikhan uporte hath rakhi kene bhal kori dise.
41 And demons also were going forth from many; crying aloud, and saying—Thou, art the Son of God. And, rebuking them, he suffered them not be talking; because they knew him to be, The Christ.
Bisi jon pora bhoot khan hala kori kene ulaise, aru koise, “Tumi Isor laga Putro ase!” Hoilebi Jisu hukum dikene bhoot khan ke kotha kobo diya nai, kele taikhan jani thakise Tai Khrista ase koi kene.
42 And, when it was day, going forth, he journeyed into a desert place; and, the multitudes, were seeking after him, and they came unto him, and would have detained him, that he might not depart from them.
Aru jitia din hoise, Jisu ulaikene manu nathaka jagate jaise, kintu manu khan dangor bhir hoi kene Taike bisari ahise. Taikhan ke Jisu pora chari kene najabo nimite manu khan kosis korise.
43 But, he, said unto them—To the other cities also, I must needs tell the good-news of the kingdom of God, because, hereunto, was I sent forth.
Kintu Jisu taikhan ke koise, “Moi aru bhi dusra sheher khan te bhi Isor laga rajyo laga susamachar prochar koribo lage, etu karone Moike duniya te pathaise.”
44 And he was proclaiming in the cities of Judaea.
Aru Tai Judea desh laga jaga sob te mondoli te jai kene prochar korise.
